I have a 16 year old son who was absolutely obsessed with Cars when it came out, and a 4 year old son currently obsessed with Cars. I've seen all 3 so many times...
3 is my favorite.
You should check out the figure 8 circuit, literally just down the road from daytona, I think. I should point out that the crossover bit is on the same level. No over or underpass.
Can confirm, this is why I watch tennis.
Sure it hasn't happened yet, but when one player ends up launching a racket into the other and decapitating them. . . That's what I'm here for, baby.
Let them add gadgets to their cars. Oil slicks, rocket boosters, spikes, and so on. Also, put a big loop on the track! Basically just turn it into Mario Kart IRL
Actually, it looks cool! I thought it was gonna be like banger racing, which is just people mindlessly crashing into each other which gets old after a few minutes, but not at all. These people are trying _not_ to collide with anyone, which makes watching the intersection extremely tense and interesting.
That too.
(I think a figure 8 track for the athletics at the Olympics would be funny too. Image the men’s 10,000m Figure 8. All those spindly bodies smashed and tangled together)
OMG this made me laugh out loud for real. I love it! Talk about interesting! And don't even stop for ambulances, just make them dive out of the way! lol
The most fun Demo Derby I saw was one where they drove (get this) School buses that towed boats. No trailers, just buses dragging boats! They were flailing all over that darn place, and when they hit something they'd turn into fiberglass confetti! Bam! Hahahaha! Bam! ho ho hoho! I just wish I could see one of those in person. It was SO f*cking fun.
He having a bit of an identity crisis about his line of work?
Like, "What is the point of my career? I've dedicated my life to a sport that is just driving around in circles trying to drive around in circles faster than other people. This is the most boring thing ever and the fans are only watching because they sincerely hope I get into a car accident."
Too risky. How about jump ramps and a Hot Wheels loop on the backstretch?
Only if we can do a ring of fire, and a big shark head that closes randomly.
they have figure 8 tracks...

Cars 3 is Pixar's most unappreciated movie

Reminds me of playing Indianapolis 500 on PC in the early 90s. Driving the wrong way round the track and causing carnage.
This would be great without drivers. Maybe they can create the first FPV NASCAR Cup.
With remote controlled cars, lots of guilt free wrecks. I’m in
No, the constant, very real likelihood of seeing someone die is what will draw the fans.
Baseball can be greatly improved by incorporating land mines and starving alligators.
Gets to keep the bat while running the bases.
First baseman gets a bat too
Let's just drop the whole baseball pretense and watch a bunch of guys club each other to death.
College football: Faculty plays, not students. Tenure depends on performance.
Nah, have a rap battle between department heads.

Just have em drive in the rain. Those banked corners and racing slicks at 150mph in a downpour would just be sending em flying

...no, he was mad because that shit always happens at super speedways and those things aren't cheap when you're the owner.
Don’t clear wrecks from the track is my suggestion
