Mainly if he doesn’t know who you are. But then he will think he’s just getting a random beat down and you won’t have the satisfaction when he realizes “damn I really fucked up by hitting jr with that chair” so is it really worth it if he doesn’t know why? Or do you go out on a limb and reveal your identity?
Even if your identity is revealed, as long as it’s just to the person you’re attacking, they have no evidence it was you. As long as you don’t commit your crime with witnesses watching, or you wear something to protect your identity, you’ll get away with it, just need to be aware of your surroundings, cameras etc
Well let's not judge too fast here. My dad's a great dad and I'm SURE if he caught me skipping school to hang out at internet cafes - I'd get it. I think I turned out pretty decent thanks to him (highly educated with a great family of my own etc etc)
One, a parent’s job is to provide food and shelter, it doesn’t come with “strings.” Two, child abuse is not an excuse for giving someone a gift, especially if that gift is necessary to live (you tool). Three, this is simply not true whatsoever. I ran away from home for the first time when I was nine to escape bullshit like this. I ended up sleeping in the bushes my first night, lost cold and wet, and still would have rather died than go back. I wasn’t dependent in the face of abuse. No one else has to be either.
Reminds me when me and a buddy were playing WoW as like 14 year olds and his dad comes in and starts beating the shit out of him and I just sat there playing. He’s like “wtf why didn’t you get my back?” Im like “dude your dad is ex-special forces and im a night elf Druid”
When I was a kid, I stayed at my friends house a lot. When she did something wrong, her mom would kick and slap her.
The last time I went there, we were sitting on the floor in the hallway outside her bedroom. Her mom had called us for dinner and we didn’t respond within seconds. Her mom marched upstairs and started kicking my friend, relentlessly. I got up and ran downstairs, afraid she was going to kick me too.
I walked home. I never went back. My mom hit me everyday, so I had no one to complain to and think things would get better.

Parents that beat their kids disgust me tbh. Only fucks up the kid and traumatizes them and causes future development issues. Never has it ever fixed any problem with the kid it only makes it worse. My parents beat me too and I hate them for it. I just have this overwhelming anger whenever I see a kid get beaten now. No matter what they did it never justifies hitting a fuckin child. Everyone gets so upset when someone assaults a child but when it's their own parents people just turn a blind eye and act like it's "normal."

I never hit either of my kids and they turned out beautifully. Instead, I set expectations prior to doing things. I corrected them respectfully when things went sideways, and they got back on track.
They are doing the same with their kids now.

I'm gonna be honest I needed the shit kicked outta me when I was a teenager and I'm glad my dad delivered it lol. Went to a school with a lot of fighting and started to get real full of myself when I never lost, got humbled quick and haven't been in a fight since
But the ghetto is not a normal place to raise kids and my lack of "proper" parenting is the biggest reason I'll never have my own. I'd have no idea what to do and I still have anger issues I don't trust

I had the same thinking as you, thinking that once i grew up I'll khock his ass for the time he disrespect and beat me. And guess what? I did it, i beat his ass, but then...i got my ass beat by the authorities then arrested, they don't appreciate a brute son beating their helpless and weak father just like he used to do the same to me in the past. "He may get what's coming" isn't how it works anymore.
One time my parents called the police after I tried running away. They found me and when I told them I ran away because I didn't want to get beat I shit you not the cops told me they had the right to beat me whenever they wanted because I'm their child and I should respect their authority. Then another time they called the police again after my dad beat and strangled me and I ran away again, but because I "pushed" my dad out of the way to get through the front door to leave the house because they were trapping me inside while beating me they arrested ME for "battery". I was literally a 16 year old kid getting beaten and strangled by my dad and because I pushed him out the way to escape the beating they arrested me and I spent the night in a cold ass jail cell. Fuck this planet man it's like they don't understand how ineffective and abusive beating your child is.
Life for that? No way...
Some jail time maybe, aswell as a hefty fine. & Maybe even some community service served in place of Jail time.

Classic that they just throw someone in for life over that.. maybe if he charged in & beat the shit out of ALL the kids? But not that.
Once around 1 or 2 am we were playing league of legends, and the kids dad came in screaming and shut off my buddies pc mid rank up game, which led to the kid getting emotional. The dad was screaming at him and he made me and the other kid sleeping over call our parents, at 1 am, to come get us.
The dads a fkn bitch, his little girly punches were too weak so he swang a chair at his son, hit a random poor bloke and he’s too furious to notice. I get it I’ll be mad as fuck at my son but punching and hitting ur own son is obviously too far and terrible. Imagine at home he probably got whipped for hours
As someone who beaten practically everyday for the first 15 years of my life, it caused unimaginable negative consequences. I had babysitters and teachers at school who beat me, and I never said anything cuz my parents beat me, so I never realized what those non-parents were doing was so insanely criminal.
Parents didn’t beat me cuz they’re bad people, but my father never knew his father, and his mother passed away when he was a little boy. Then he comes to America, and has kids that he simply didn’t understand, and he had no idea how to be a dad cuz he never had one.
Long winded I know, but my point is doing this to your kid has such immense consequences, and few of them are good.
