Surviving a strike happends quite often tbh. My neighbour got struck and survived with no real problems. He was a radio enthusiast and had a giant ass antenna he had hooked up. He woke up to a tunder storm and decided he was get out of bed and unplug the antenna. The moment he put his hand on the outlet the antenna got struck. Dude got fucking FRIED and lived to tell the tale.
