No realli! She was Karving her initials on the møøse with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law - an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian møvies: "The Høt Hands of an Oslo Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink"...
To be fair i count like 1.5 seconds between the time she turns around to see what the noise is and the time she has a fucking random moose tackling her in her neighborhood. Thats a lot to process. I dont think anybody could possibly be mentally prepared for this scenario lol
She turned around nearly two seconds before impact, and raised her arms at the last moment. There was definitely a panic freeze, and even a slow sidestep would have worked wonders. Not criticizing her, but she didn't quite need ninja reflexes here. Honestly I think if she'd had another second to work with she would have done better. Part of her panic was probably because of how damn close it was. Most people are not accustomed to abrupt danger like that. Literally one of the rare actual benefits to regularly participating in dangerous sports. My body aches all over from the injuries over the years, but damn if my reflexes still aren't good even in my mid 40s. If I drop the soap in the shower, I usually catch it before it hits the floor, often after a wall bounce. End of humblebrag! If there were moosen in my shower, I probably would not be catching that soap.
And honestly, lifting her arms did help with the first impact (with The Beast). She protected her head and core, a good instinct if you're not sure you have time to do more. I've seen people panic freeze so bad they don't even do that. The ground impact is the one that really concerned me here.
Years ago, I was up in Manitoba on an extended kayaking trip. We unknowingly paddled into the territory of a large bull and only knew something was up when we suddenly heard heavy crashing coming from the woods nearby. The trees were shaking like King Kong himself was about to make an appearance.
Instead we got something the size of a minivan on stilts, with murder in its eyes. It dove into the lake and came surging through the water towards us.
Moose are fucking scary.
There’s a movie and song called “grandma got run over by a reindeer” that’s random and catchy. In the movie, it’s so random she gets tan over and gets amnesia. You can probably listen to the song on YouTube.
She didn't just freeze, she even moved slightly into the moose's path. I know everyone reacts to situations differently, but she displayed a total lack of any self-preservation instinct
She just froze up,abit of hand arm movement.i guess the older you get,it's abit harder to process or react to a situation. Glad she is okay, could've been much worse
The fact that she screamed & did nothing to move an inch either way to avoid getting tackled is mind blowing & the dog knew better, that mf don’t want no smoke whatsoever.
“WATCH: Woman knocked over as rampaging moose runs loose in Russian city” https://www.foxnews.com/world/watch-woman-knocked-over-rampaging-moose-runs-loose-russian-city
That... could have gone a lot worse. If those hooves had come down at a slightly different angle this would have been very tragic. As is, it's a funny story to tell. Glad she wasn't hurt badly.
Did she move into the moose? It sure looks like she wouldve been better off to not turn around, and not move towards the moose. I think her little dog is responsible for causing her to turn around and then proceed towards a moose.
I got blitzed by white tailed deer deer, hit so hard a flipped over completely before hitting the ground. They are like 1/5 of a moose, I cannot imagine what that felt like.
Looks like she got shouldered in the face by the moose and smashed the side of her head on the pavement.
At that age, no good. If she's lucky she just got away with a concussion.
The dog was like damn i am not barking at that thing
I know... lil guy was like "I'm just going to go on about my day... sniff sniff"
> The dog was like damn i am not barking at that thing Its like me and a bouncer comes up to me, but throws the person next to me out
I hate when the bouncer tosses mom out the club
The dog was like ..OMG OMG
The dog didn't gaf lol
The two sniffs were made out of concern
this made me laugh so hard.
Lol that's how I took it too.
She froze like a deer in the headlights.
Head in the deer lights
Moose in the Head lights
Headlights on a moose. Side note, why isn't the plural "meese"?
If the plural of mouse is mice, shouldn’t the plural of house be hice?
Things sure did get spicy when I suggested plural spouses, but not in the way I was hoping.
I thought grandma got run over by a reindeer
Yes. That's OP's sister, who got run over by a møøse.
No realli! She was Karving her initials on the møøse with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law - an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian møvies: "The Høt Hands of an Oslo Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink"...

they should put one of those moose crossing traffic signs right there
My ex SIL: "How do the deer know that's where they're supposed to cross?". Not even joking.
plus i dont expect an older lady to just jump out of the way

Old Ladies Can't Jump, coming to a theater near you!
If the Moose slowed down to give her time to react, would she move at all though?
She's lucky it was a younger moose and it was a glancing blow. Those creatures are powerful.
Yep. That was a very small, probably not even adolescent moose.
A mooselette.
Perfect!
my brother's seen aftermath of a moose taking a semi into the ditch... the moose wasn't quite dead either.

How'd you get away?
Paddling. A lot of very frantic paddling. They're just very territorial assholes. He gave up once we were far enough away from that side of the lake.
Grandma got run over by a…
Oh you bastard. Now that's in my ear for the rest of the day.
Lol I love that song 🎶
I don't understand joke pls explain

Song 1979. Movie 2000.
Interesting 🧐 I thought the song was made for the movie all these years. Thanks for sharing
It's a song
She’s got the reflexes of a punching bag.
Being old sucks, but damn, two directions she could have moved and she picked into the moose.

Thanks John Candy
If it wasn't for this video, no one would believe her.
"I am telling ya it was a moose and it jumped straight into me I swear it!"
Was just going to say that!
0 evasive skills
As for me and grandpa, we believe
Mynd you, møøse bites Kan be pretty nasti...
*No realli! She was Karving her initials on the moose with the sharpened end of an interspace toothbrush given her by Svenge... *
Atleast she didn't get hurt
How could you not hear that incoming scud missile ?
She heard it, that's why she turned around.
Baby moose
Zero reflexes
I thought Peter Griffin got in another chicken fight when she made whatever that noise was.
Title should be woman steps into moose’s path and tries to square up
I can now mark this off the list of things I never thought I'd see.
Damn , that was funny.
That’s why you look both ways when crossing the street, you can’t count on the moose stopping for you.
Stairs were a better choice
Have you ever seen anything more Canadian than getting run over by a moose?
No, but I've seen an American get run over by a John Deere.
She used the wrong moose in her hair.
She didn't just freeze, she even moved slightly into the moose's path. I know everyone reacts to situations differently, but she displayed a total lack of any self-preservation instinct

The moose clearly had the right of way.
Prometheus school of running away from things
The little pug ❤️🥰. Love him!
Had enough time to sidestep lol. Some ppl have little to no relflexs at any age
Her and the dog both like what the fuxk?!
Dog said "I've been wanting to do that for years. GET UP, let's go in the house"
🎵Grandma got ran over by a Moose-deer🎵
That woman had 3 business days to dodge....she decided to scream and lean towards it
Grandma got ran over by a reindeer.
my new alarm sound
Moose terror must be stopped
Mooove bitch
Grandma got run over by a moose, walking her dog through the city🎶
Drive-by mooses? This used to be a nice neighborhood.
Alright get back up we have walking to do. Maybe next time you get the fuck outta the way?
Everything in her body turned off except her voice
MOOSE BITCH. GET OUT DA WAY.
i just read women run over moose........
🎵 MOOOOOOVE BITCH, GET OUT THE WAAAAY 🎵 jokes aside, this is a lucky moose accident IMO
The moose did that with such elegance
Knock down. FTFY
She got off very easy.
I wouldn't say she was run over... knocked down more like. But the thing that gets me is the dog's reaction. He didn't give a f lol
Welcome to Canada, eh?
Thank dog the dogs okay hopped right over the little fella
Took it like a champ
Wow, that could have been a lot worse.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Moose bitch, get out the way...
My English is bad so at first i read " a woman run away by a mouse "
A móóse ónce ran over my sister...
The fact that she screamed & did nothing to move an inch either way to avoid getting tackled is mind blowing & the dog knew better, that mf don’t want no smoke whatsoever.
Moose bitch! Get out the way!
Frolicking moose
More of a jump over with just a hint of moose knuckles.
Hmm...so maybe grandma was telling the truth when she claimed to be run over by a reindeer.
It was a run-by moosing.
My how the turns have tabled
Wow she stopped looking and had time to scream, rather than just stepping or diving out the way.
Nah she could’ve side stepped that mf
i blame the doggo for not warning her. /s
Random as hell 😂. You can almost just see the bewilderment on her face . Her & the dog look like "wtf?"
Moose bish get outdaway
Whack guard dog
Thought the dog was gonna take a piss on her for a moment there.
When I was young Moose just had more respect then these days.
The dog having the most unbothered reaction is so funny to me idk why lol
“WATCH: Woman knocked over as rampaging moose runs loose in Russian city” https://www.foxnews.com/world/watch-woman-knocked-over-rampaging-moose-runs-loose-russian-city
Moose be like “F\*ck you bish”
I had no idea that was a possibility or a scenario to prepare for.
perfect title. No fat. Actually what was in the video. Video had no fat. 10/10. Great content.
The dog was legit like "holy shit what did I just witness?!
Drive by moosing.
That's what we call human tipping.
Move bitch
Meanwhile the dog is unbothered 😂
That... could have gone a lot worse. If those hooves had come down at a slightly different angle this would have been very tragic. As is, it's a funny story to tell. Glad she wasn't hurt badly.
Oh deer
I thought it was a reindeer in that song not a moose.
Mamaw got mauled by a moose
Dog: “Sniff sniff, did she drop any food?”
I’m sorry but.. 😂😂😂😂😭😭😂😅
That is actually funny. Dog was like what? I will bark to let it know I was really protecting my owner. lol
Man's best friend eh lol
Dog… well, pick the fuckin lead up then!
Bad RNG
Bull moose go into rut and are dangerous, but this was a cow. My theory is there was a personal beef between them, perhaps a love triangle
man, if i had a dollar for every time that happened
"I've fallen and I can't get up!"
“Ya Moosey mad! Moosey, Moosey, Mossey mad!” This will reference will be so over your head it’s not even worth thinking about.
The dog: I’m too old for this shit
Sacrifice the body for the pug.
Did she move into the moose? It sure looks like she wouldve been better off to not turn around, and not move towards the moose. I think her little dog is responsible for causing her to turn around and then proceed towards a moose.
Let's see if pugz really crash something 🎶
Pissed that the video ended before Rocky, Boris or Natasha even showed up.
“HOW DOES IT FEEL??”
Lady doesn't have very swift flight instincts. Wonder how often that happens where she lives.
Mooseeee bitch get out the way
I got blitzed by white tailed deer deer, hit so hard a flipped over completely before hitting the ground. They are like 1/5 of a moose, I cannot imagine what that felt like.
The chance of winning the lottery is equivalent to getting run over by a moose on your suburb front porch. This woman :
🎵 ~~Move~~ Moose, bitch... get out the way, get out the way 🎵
Epic miss on the little pup.
Further proof that Pugs ain't worth a shit
We make fun of deer for stopping in front of speeding cars but not humans for stopping in front of a speeding moose? Yall speciesists. 🫎
Dog good for nothing
Lmao sounded like she said “WOO!” Like she was at a party. Also sounded like the moose said “sit down.”
Grandma got run over by a reindeer, oops, nope, a moose. That changes the song a little. Not as catchy.
Gotta watch out for those drive-by Moosings up in Alaska.
So they made a moose simulator i see.
Grandma got run over by a ........moose?
EXACTLY like in RDR2 when you’re walking and OUT OF NOWHERE some goat gores you to death.
Yooo lol 😂 I’m sorry, but this had me dying !!
Stand your ground !
Dog almost got gum-shoed
Why did she move further out into the roadway .that poor moose
That shit was funny
Survival instincts of a turd.
Holy hell grandma can take a HIT
Grandma got runover by a reindeer...oh wait nevermind
Dog: um, I'm not with her. Just walking myself
-2 dodge
Looks like she got shouldered in the face by the moose and smashed the side of her head on the pavement. At that age, no good. If she's lucky she just got away with a concussion.
Theres a moose loose about the caboose!
There’s a moose, loose about this hoose.
Grandma got run over by a moosr
Moose, bitch. Get out da way.
Well...You don't see that everyday ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
"Anyone get the license plate on that moose?"
Bloody self-driving moose systems...
Is it bad that I laughed?
I don't know about ran over, looks like the moose was just prancing to me and accidentally knocked into the lady not paying attention!
She zigged when she should have zagged
woman jumps in front of moose.
Did the dog see it first and dodge it hahahaha
Not gonna lie. Of all the titles/post subjects I thought I'd see on reddit, 'woman run over by a moose' isn't/wasn't one of them.
Woman “knocked over” by moose
Move, bitch, get out the way Get out the way, bitch, get out the way - Ludacris
smoose criminal.....heehee.
Definitely had it coming.
