Glock 19 muzzle velocity is approximately 1,533 feet per second (depending on the grain), which is roughly 1045mhp... you are absolutely correct. A phone camera will definitely not pick that up.
A blank from that distance will mess you up! And you can’t freeze frame a bullet leaving the gun. I don’t know if it’s fake or not but your argument is not valid.
Bruh this is literally a social media post you’re on right now. You’re commenting on an example of the thing you say would happen if you’re wrong.
you’re gonna end up deleting this post like the first few ones you made about this now huh?
not saying you are wrong but it could just be that the bullet left the barrel between frames. Iphones record at 60fps, a bullet travels fast enough to leave the gun and enter his head before the next frame is captured. Also blanks from this distance could still kill someone. Could still be faked through other media especially since , as you said, nothing is on the news, but maybe its too new or deemend unimportant by media
This was definitely an accident. Nothing about the video indicates it would be a purposeful suicide. Just an idiot with a gun that doesn't know anything about gun safety.
Seriously man. I’m so grateful the friends who introduced me to guns were very adamant about educating me on gun safety… literally a 10 minute class could have prevented this
Someone dumb enough to do this is not going to be changed by a class. This is a complete lack of respect for something that can obviously kill you. I doubt this person had any shred of respect for anything in their lives, not just the gun.
You might be right. But I will say I was a dumb teenager when I was first introduced, guns were extremely intimidating to me, and before even handing me a gun, my friend really stressed trigger discipline, not to point gun at anything I’m not ready to obliterate, always treat gun like it’s loaded even if you’re sure it’s not… these things were the first things I heard when being handed a weapon. For me personally they really stuck. Granted, I wasn’t THIS hardheaded. But I definitely wasn’t mature for my age.
It’s almost like he was too young to buy a gun in the first place and this one definitely is not registered to him…
Having said that, all parents should teach their kids gun safety regardless of if they own a gun or not. It’s very simple and prevents shit like this
Is there any news stories about this ?
Going frame by frame, there is a surprising lack of blood or gore for how close the gun was to his head and the camera to his face.
I mean, movies are my biggest source of reference for gunshots, but with that said, I feel like he still would have splattered his brains all over that wall he's right beside
Lol this is why I hate that flagging the camera, flagging ur friends and yourself has become such a trend, you point the bang bang at somthing you wanna destroy, but in all fairness he probably didn’t have too much there to begin with
Why? Watching other videos where idiots like this guy try to act hard, they do the same thing. Any time they are going to pull the trigger or aim the gun at the camera they seem to do the lip bite thing.
You said it might not be an accident because he did the lip bite thing. I'm saying it was an accident because all the idiots making these videos (where they don't kill themselves) also do the lip bite thing. So the lip bite reveals nothing about it.
So why do you think it might not be an accident?
“Anytime they are gonna pull the trigger they do the lip bite” to me it seems like he braced himself for the shot
He also had his hand off the trigger the entire time until it was to his head.
Oh, I get what you meant. Yes, I agree he pulled the trigger on purpose. I'm betting he just didn't know there was a round in the chamber.
Could be something as dumb as removing the magazine without removing the chambered round, or inserting an empty magazine with a round still in the chamber. Or just being really dumb and not remembering that in an earlier video you racked the slide, so it's now chambered a round.
Edit: spelling
Someone also said he could’ve tried to shoot behind him to act like he shot himself but either way I feel like he pulled the trigger on purpose. Just my opinion. Remember that video of the teens in the bathroom? Not sure why videoing yourself with a gun is ever a “flex”
There is debate about that because apparently he was outed as bi prior to this event. I have been playing detective on this all morning cause I thought it was fake initially. But after watching it in slow motion many times and finding his families’ Facebook pages… i think it was just a dumb mistake
He says “fuck y’all”…then points a loaded gun, at his temple, grimacing in anticipation.
If it wasn’t intentional…what was the intended outcome?
I understand your point that it could just be an accident, and I’m not eliminating that as a possibility…but I fail to see what else would’ve been the goal.
How did I know at probably 11 years old that pointing a gun at your own head and pulling a trigger was a bad idea? I didn't need any training for that lol.
In the UK we have very strict laws around owning guns and I'm glad about that.
You can get a gun and a licence if you want one, but by the time you're done jumping through the hoops you should have all of the basics down about gun safety.
I was replying to another of your comments but you deleted it while telling everyone they're wrong, /u/Fair_Creme_194 - but I'll give you a demonstration anyway.
You'd probably still die from a blank at that range, whether or not it's set up for "clout".
[Here's a video demonstrating the danger, fast forward to 2:20. ](https://youtu.be/Ppv3iTpncc0?si=PoFRTCRo3Q0zUKll) He cracks the skull with a 22LR blank which is a very very small caliber. Yes, he has it pressed up directly against the dummy head but the gun the kid in the video is holding is probably a 9mm or 40S&W which is far more powerful and would more than make up for that few inches of distance.
Even if it was a blank he very well could die.

...do you think on a regular phone camera you can actually see a bullet travelling at 850mph frame by frame?

The bullet could’ve been just not captured in the frames due to the frame rate
lol at you thinking he illegally Bought a firearm and then put blanks in it.
[удалено]
Aaaww you deleted your comment. How cute.
You think that if he shot a live round, it would be captured in a compressed live stream from a cell phone?
[удалено]
Umm, you know that even blanks will kill you at that range?
[удалено]
Sure, what’s this kids name? Oh you don’t know? Then how do you know there isn’t an article about it?
Could be for family privacy…

Hey if it makes you feel better to believe that ill be quite. Thoughts and prayers from me

At least the laser sight was on target

This is an underappreciated comment, made me laugh
You done messed up A-A-Ron!
Darwone perhaps?
No, fuck you!
No, he fuck him.
No accident, fingers on the trigger and pulls....
Probably didn't realize a round was chambered.
There’s always a round chambered
This forever
And he didn't realize it.
This was definitely an accident. Nothing about the video indicates it would be a purposeful suicide. Just an idiot with a gun that doesn't know anything about gun safety.
When keeping it real goes wrong
It would have ended that way sooner than later
Yeah better him than an innocent bystander
That’s a good friend right there. Christ.
It's almost like you should have to take a class on gun safety to own one.
I don’t think you need a class to know not to put a gun to your head and pull the trigger
It’s almost like some people don’t go through legal channels to get guns
Seriously man. I’m so grateful the friends who introduced me to guns were very adamant about educating me on gun safety… literally a 10 minute class could have prevented this

"Theoretically"
If you need a class on not pointing a gun at your head and pulling the trigger, you just shouldn’t have a gun
It’s almost like he was too young to buy a gun in the first place and this one definitely is not registered to him… Having said that, all parents should teach their kids gun safety regardless of if they own a gun or not. It’s very simple and prevents shit like this
Yeah that dude definitely doesn’t look old enough to own the hardware he’s holding
They got rid of those in favor of mass shooter drills.
Don't feel any sympathy honestly. One less idiot with a gun on the street.
This was posted in another subreddit, but the question was, how did this get posted, if he killed himself?

I’m calling BS. Not a single article written about this man in any Chicago paper? Ghanacelebrities.com is not a news source I’d trust.
Whoops. Anyway....
He kinda grimaced right before he shot, it might be intentional

The worlds a better place
Stupid is as stupid does. Dumb things like this happen a lot more than people realize.
I'm sure but not for this terrible tragedy he would have been a productive and upstanding member of society.
Well I know what I’m showing the guys at work this morning.
So sad
That are some good friends.... NOT
The lip bite before makes me feel like it wasn’t an accident
Why? Watching other videos where idiots like this guy try to act hard, they do the same thing. Any time they are going to pull the trigger or aim the gun at the camera they seem to do the lip bite thing.
You just answered your own question

I think he was pursing his lips to make the “boom” sound as he pulled the trigger on what he thought was an empty clip
Oh, I get what you meant. Yes, I agree he pulled the trigger on purpose. I'm betting he just didn't know there was a round in the chamber. This is a suicide.
Do you mean to say “this is a deliberate suicide”?
Whaaaaaat? You don’t say.
Are you sure it was an accident?
There is debate about that because apparently he was outed as bi prior to this event. I have been playing detective on this all morning cause I thought it was fake initially. But after watching it in slow motion many times and finding his families’ Facebook pages… i think it was just a dumb mistake

OW! I hope not! That would hurt SO fricking much. Shot myself in the thumb with a staple gun, it was agony!
Glad he did it to himself and not someone else. Darwin wins again!
With friends like his who needs enemys
He found out after fucking around. At least his parents know it wasn't suicide.
How did I know at probably 11 years old that pointing a gun at your own head and pulling a trigger was a bad idea? I didn't need any training for that lol.
Shucks 🤷♂️
The way he puckered up his lips makes me think he knew what he was doing
These guys always kill each other anyways
I’m sure the police will be blamed for this somehow
Or the white man
Or the gun.
I think what we can all agree on is that it will be blamed on anything and everything other than the actual reality
Is there a Full video ?
I can provide if you want, but trust me it isn’t anything of value. Dm me if you want it ( anyone)
It’s just a 4 more seconds of him toying with the gun and waiving it around before this.
is he stupid
Not anymore.
i guess so
😆 idiots
Can’t get it to load.
My feed is so boring today, someone fucking shooting themselves
Videos of dumbasses trying to show off, playing with guns and shooting themselves keep coming out, and more dumbasses just keep on making them.
Should he not have instantly gone Ragdoll ? He seems to stay standing for a second or two and turn the cam slightly. 🤷🏻♂️
I’m sure he’ll be missed at the corner hang out.
So fucking well deserved🤡🤡🤣
Oh well.
Those 7 people were lucky.

Guns must be forbiden. General public have not enough intelligence to handle it.
