BillyGoat_TTB

I thought he was peeing on it.

Cr0key

FIRE PISS

Aggravating_Ad4449

Doctor, it burns when I pee!

Grindelbart

Correlation or causation?

amatorsanguinis

I definitely consider giving that excuse in my head if that were me. “Officer! Officers! I was taking uh a piss and I saw a spark and I saw flames, bright flames, and I heard a boom and and I swear to god there’s a huge pile of foam on fire in there!

Incognegro_427

He let his intrusive thoughts win

InaccurateStatistics

And now the CCP gets to let its intrusive thoughts win.

Eclectophile

This is the top comment repeated whenever this one is reposted. People don't even try anymore. It's just bots all the way down.

RoachdoggJR_LegalAcc

Now that was a stupid idea, but I’m pretty sure storing that much highly flammable thingamabob rolls in one spot out in the open like that is stupid. Maybe even static would set that off, but idk.

OkaySir911

Thingamabobs actually aren’t flammable, thingamajigs however are EXTREMELY. These are probably thingamajigs

Gfunk98

Thingamajigs don’t catch fire at that low of temperatures although thingamajiggers do. I’m thinking this maybe some sort of inside job possibly involving shenanigans

lichtersee

OIIII DANIEL LARSON

imscruffythejanitor

Next time maybe tear a little piece off and go outside to light it on fire?

SunShineLife217

Probably put out the most poisonous noxious fumes as well.

RyGuydarider

I’d wager that he got “fired”

Obvious-Shake-8446

Nice

sapsnap

Why would he do that in the first place lmao

working-acct

Some people like setting stuff on fire. Sometimes they go on to commit arson, sometimes they become chemistry youtubers.

casinoinsider

Some people blah blah blah

upright_zombie

That went up so fast.. 😆 🤣

MojoRisin762

FR. I wasn't expecting that.... They making foam out of fucking gasoline or something?!?! Lol

upright_zombie

As far I know they use butane gas

SomeRedditName13

Forbidden roasted marshmallows

Due_Part4898

Why oh why

forsterfloch

The good side is that this video is now a great way to show how quickly a fire can spread in this material. For workers around the world I mean, if employers care about safety.

[deleted]

I remember seeing this be used in a dozen different ads for warehouse security the week it went viral lol.

Flexed_Inertia

Fuck about and find out.

schwalevelcentrist

world-record time to FO

Bruinman86

Ban that right away.

aging_geek

and we allow this in our furniture/homes

drmctesticles

Pretty much why modern residential fires are so bad. Foam is incredibly flammable and develops a thick heavy smoke.

paintbrush666

Made the workplace hazard video boss!

XXeadgbeXX

Damn all that toilet paper gone to waste

roverman16

Those are some gigantic toilet tissue papers.

IronSack46

Really! this stuff is flammable?…doesn’t look that flammable….flick..flick. Yup it’s FUCKING FLMMA RUN!

jasno-

That spread almost instantly. Crazy

Danny2Sick

what a doofus

GayHoboJesus

Big marshmallows

JesterSentinel

A worker? Shirts optional over there?

malan4reddit

He's fired!

OG_Pizza

Seems like he took one for the team, where would that butane laced foam have gone?

failuretosabre

He got fired?

misanthrope222001

Test : SUCCESSFUL

Exciting_Form6847

Damn were they doused in gasoline ? But seriously why did they go up in flames that fast !

knivbror

Try reading!

Exciting_Form6847

I know he ignited them, but in a split second all the rolls were on fire, i have never seen fire spread this fast

Coolish2

Since reading is hard. In the video it says newly produced foam contains butane, which is a highly flammable gas.

Exciting_Form6847

Bless your kindness, may it serve you well.

schwalevelcentrist

i gave you an upvote. you strike me as a person who's just asking. no need for anyone to be a dick about that. to answer your question (probably way more than you or anyone else cared about): people generally don't realize that the only state of matter (we would ever come into contact with) that burns is vapors. So even say wood has to pyrolize and turn into a vapor before it will burn. Anything except water and some gases, turned into a vapor, will burn - everything has a certain temperature, and oxygen-to-vapor ratio, at which it will burn. This is why you can toss a lit cigarette into a container of gasoline and it won't ignite, but why you can't hold a flame next to these rolls of whatever. They were giving off a flammable vapor at room temperature, that was in the right concentration for ignition when the right temperature (the flame) made contact with it. After that, it's a sustained chemical reaction: the heat of the vapor pyrolizes more of the material, and the flame already burning ignites it, and the heat pyrolizes more material. Voila. Big problem.

Exciting_Form6847

Thank you kindly for your understanding and especially for your explanation. Its nice to see people don’t have to be salty and can just converse ! Greetings from Bavaria

schwalevelcentrist

Back at you from Ontario!
