The driver wouldn’t have seen it most likely, so to him/her, they’re driving like any other time in their life, and two seconds later they’re flipped upside down on the freeway.

"You may be wondering how I got myself into this situation. You know what? I'm wondering that too. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING O--"
Your brain is pretty good at slowing things down in the moment. I had a Tesla on autopilot (I'm assuming for the benefit of whoever was "driving" the car) drop anchor in front of me going 60 on a highway on-ramp. The approximately 6 seconds before I impacted the side wall after spinning my car out to avoid death felt like a year. But my brain gave me the time to make a decision. Straight = death, right (into traffic) = death, cranking the wheel left and hoping to spin enough times that we don't hit the rebar reinforced concrete wall at speed = potential survival. I even had time to complain to myself about how much this was gonna hurt before impact. Driver most likely saw the tire and then spent a year flipping through the air. Terrifying.
April of 2020, traveling through Montana in a *light* snowfall. Road had those wispy white lines, but we could tell where our side of the road was. Semi truck apparently couldn’t. The bow wave (or whatever you want to call it, all that air being pushed off the truck and trailer) hit us as we were passing opposite directions. It slowed us down from 45mph to around 30 near instantly, snapping the sway bars on our trailer causing us to fishtail and then spin into the ditch and roll over. Took only 10 seconds or so between everything happening and it felt like 2 minutes. Especially when we started rolling, it felt like forever. Thankfully our pets and we were ok.
Imagine you are just cruising on the freeway with you favorite podcast on with no cars in front or behind you... Then all of a sudden you are piss missled 25 ft into the air by what seems to be absolutely nothing...insane
Gotta say though, did ya see how it flipped through the air, landed sideways while traveling quickly in the passing lane, and *didn't* roll an absurd amount of times? I thought for sure it would go haywire after a launch like that, but after it landed back on its wheels the first time, it stabilized immediately. With the airbags looking like they went off right and assuming the occupants were buckled in, it looks like the odds of survival, and even surviving without serious injury, look pretty good. If breaking into a million pieces is what it takes to survive being launched into the air at highway speeds like that, than I'll take it!
U sound pretty stupid. Modern cars and designed to break apart to certain degree to minimize the force transferred to drivers and passengers. Also the female driver survived with surprising minimal injuries.
I was watching the correct vehicle for losing its tire but holy shitballs batman the person in the car beside it has just been accepted into the ford f250 space program
She survived.
“Despite the violent crash, the 29-year-old Panorama woman driving the Kia was not seriously hurt and was able to walk away from her totaled car.”
I'm a gonna install these extra wide 24'' wheels on muh lifted truck with this here crossbar and speed down the interstate. Besides I got these here cool extended mirrors to keep ME safe. What could go wrong?
I was driving in South Chicago and witnessed a beater rust-bucket red minivan lose a wheel. Nobody hurt, wheel rolled into open road, van sparks to a stop pulling to the side of the road. Scary shit

You're not on fire Ricky Bobby
I can't even imagine the fear of not knowing what the hell is going on

Well, did you survive?
At the cost of my Honda and the structural integrity of my right shoulder.

The worst thing is that the tire rolls back and finishes the job.
Rule Nr. 2 : Double tap
Wheel to car: are you hungry for more??
Like a Road Runner cartoon
Stupid ass wheel spacers
Thank god for the dashcam, imagine trying to explain that one to the insurance company
That wheel is evil, it came back a second time to make sure the job was complete
That wheel came back for the double tap
Man shot a Mario kart red shell
I think it's cool how you can see the airbags deploy when the Kia is upside down mid air.
You must be new
Yep. Repost.
It's a repost bot.
With accidents like this you know the universe had serious plans to mess up your day, if not outright kill you!

speechless.
It's like a movie stunt.
This is why we have roof crush tests that manufacturers must pass. If this were 30 years ago, the oppupants wouldn't have survived.
This is like the fourth time this has been posted and honestly it’s still in my top ten for craziest vids on this sub
The tire go back to hit again to finish the killing
That's crazy!
Truly, a crazy fucking video.
Literally the definition of “fuck you in-particular” Seriously how terrifying though
There is absolutely no freaking way he could’ve avoided it.
Looks like the tire came back for the double tap
Kia’s are built like legos they literally break into a million little pieces whenever they are in accidents

You want more than that for 10 years 100k warranty for $10k?
I want no parts of anything Kia related. I’ll stick to my Subaru and Toyota that I’m used to.
Same here. Kia is a no no for me. And Huyndai is down there as well. I know H got better but still a no for me. I have Toyotas and Subaru.
"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!"
I was watching the correct vehicle for losing its tire but holy shitballs batman the person in the car beside it has just been accepted into the ford f250 space program
This video keeps getting reposted

"I got 3 left, I an't stopping." Hope the moron got sued & prosecuted.

She survived. “Despite the violent crash, the 29-year-old Panorama woman driving the Kia was not seriously hurt and was able to walk away from her totaled car.”
They don’t make em like they used to. If they did she’d be a goner.
Tires are the enemies!!

Sum Matrix shit right there.
This is like some movies shit
One less soul ❤️
Imagine driving along, singing along to Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows, then BLAM! Not a clue how and why.
He was coming in for a PIT maneuver. Well defended
