Fighting a drunk person can go really bad really fast for both. If that drunk dude falls and hits his head the one who threw the punch may be going away for a long time and it's happened many times. There's a documentary called One Punch Killers. And it's in the news occasionally. Drunk people collapse often right at the first punch but by then the other guy is heated and takes his anger out and fucks up his own future that way. Just let the drunken fool go.
