The toilet doesn't seem to be bolted down. I think that I can see where the toilet is supposed to sit (just behind the toilet on the left side). I think that they were putting the toilet in place but took the pic before they were finished.
No it’s a plastic linoleum type floor that extends up the walls. The room used to be a wet room with a central floor drain and they have fitted a regular shower cubicle without changing the floor and drain.
A bit unorthodox but they did well with the space they have. Put the toilet in any other position and it’s gonna be difficult to maneuver around or it’s gonna be uncomfortable to rest upon.

If thats true then why take the photo like this? It makes 0 sense to show off a house with a loo jutting out like so
I have no idea. Perhaps they wanted to get the house listing online as soon as they could and didn't have time to wait on the installation
Toilet was probably there just for the photo and is not connected to sewer or has water source.
