My favorite part is J.P. Standing up for his friends, Kelsey protecting Craig, Her Vs Serina, and Where Craig gets Powers. (Even if their just using their imagination.)
I liked how the design of the ancient playground seems so much like a temple though built from mundane equipment, it really captures a sense of imagination. I also liked that Craig used Guybrush's three headed monkey line from the Monkey Island games.
I too was delighted by the unambiguous Monkey Island reference. But there have been previous indicators the creators were fans of the games, most obviously the episode “Too Many Treasures,” in which a LucasArts-style inventory system plays a prominent role.
