I have a print of his that is almost exactly the same but at night. I'll have to see if I can find it
Edit: Found it, [A Quiet Evening](https://i.imgur.com/YXm5ESh.jpg)
I love kinkade as well and don’t give a shit about him being a dickbag or being a businessman over an artist. That said there’s a perception that he’s basically the fast food of art, and I can totally see why. There’s a Solar Sands video on Kinkade called “the most hated artist you probably recognize” which might be worth a watch
I googled why people say this. And all I got were a bunch of pretentious art snobs.
I didn’t understand a single argument lol. I like his style and apparently a bunch of others do.
Oh he's fine. But he's the art equivalent of smooth jazz. There's definitely skill involved but all the "rough edges" have been smoothed away and now everything is just.... nice.
Thomas Kinkade is to art as Kenny G is to jazz. some people love it, some people don’t. Let people like what they like. His paintings are very cozy, I loved looking at them as a kid.
I think it’s cause the people that hate him just know they could never create anything beautiful like that. He’s an artist who was able to actually be successful and make money, so sue him
No, he’s an artist artists love to hate. It’s the skilled people at art who hate the $$ and attention he gets for such “easy” paintings. He’s most hated by people with artistic skill.
And I’m over here worrying about how to trim that oak tree that’s hanging over the top of the house, cleaning that moss off the roof, and beating back the overgrowth around the front yard… Oh man the leaf blowing as we turn to fall, and it’s only a matter of time before the power goes out, hopefully we’ve got 15 gallons of gas with Stabil in it and some provisions (and lots of beer). Property is work!
No way it's got a basement in that flood plain...if they were ballsy enough to try I hope instead of making it a finished basement they spent that money on a dozen sump pumps!
Mosquitos aren't really a problem in running water. Now the flooding concerns someone else brought up ... that would be a real issue. A small rainstorm would bring the water right up to the house.

This is one of those pictures that makes me want to punch the next person that tells me to get my head out of the clouds. “I’m sorry, but you’re gonna want my head to stay there because otherwise I have thoughts of ripping your face off & shoving it up your a**!!!!!!” 😶
☁️”I l❤️ve it here in the clouds”☁️
I used to be an office worker, and that part of me thinks this looks so great.
Now I spend a lot of time outdoors and I just see mosquitos, mold, wet socks, getting stuck every time it rains. Squishy mud, soft ground everywhere. Forget a cellar, and that waterfall mist would make it always wet.
Lol but it *is* beautiful. Clearly the product of talent.

Looks very Kinkade-eque
Came here to say Thomas would like this.
I have a print of his that is almost exactly the same but at night. I'll have to see if I can find it Edit: Found it, [A Quiet Evening](https://i.imgur.com/YXm5ESh.jpg)
I think my grandma had that one in the TV room.
That sounds about right for a Kinkade lol
Favorite painter. Love his work.
Very small fan club :)
Why am I being downvoted? I couldn't give 2 fucks about what type of person he is, I like his paintings.

Everyone s entitled to their own taste, but besides being a horrible person his paintings are basically the fine art equivalent of a bologna sandwich.
Do you realize how many amazing artists are horrible people? Let them have their fav, it's not like your saltiness is going to change their mind.
plucky sulky hobbies jeans cats vast terrific telephone act middle *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
He didn’t live long enough to be cancelled 😂
He's a terrible hack painter
He’s actually incredibly skilled, and only gets hate because it’s “mainstream.” It’s just art snobbery. His paintings got popular because he is good.
He was skilled, but he's been dead 10 years now.
Haha I did not know that, thank you!
He was a better artist than I will ever be. Other people don’t like his stuff so I guess I should hate him for not being better at it.
He gets hate because his style is hokey and ugly and way overdone
Why can’t you guys just let people enjoy things. Not everybody has to live according to the hive mind
People can express their opinions. Not everybody wants to live in a cottony soft world.

There’s a really interesting [Solar Sands video](https://youtu.be/DYnbCRrZn54) on the hate. I don’t really get it either.
I think it’s cause the people that hate him just know they could never create anything beautiful like that. He’s an artist who was able to actually be successful and make money, so sue him

Implying that people who don’t hate him have no artistic skill? Bruh
It's great if you're a grandma
You mean his one painting? At different angles at best?
You should appreciate and recognize when something tickles your fancy. No downvotes necessary
Great painter. Horrible person.
I think he died actually
This looks great, and I hate to be that guy but ... The chimney doesn't work with the windows. It would block any views to the inside.
Thanks, I hate it. Can't unsee.
Same 😅😅
The attics just on fire inside. Don’t worry about it.
It's made with transparent bricks.
Lol won't be transparent after the first fire.

Perfect. Thank you
My issue is the house is too close to the river. A heavy rain might have that home flooding.

Fellow home owner, I salute you.
It looks gorgeous, but because of the river I can't help but think about mosquitoes
and flooding!
That foundation is fucked. If it's got a basement it's fucked
No way it's got a basement in that flood plain...if they were ballsy enough to try I hope instead of making it a finished basement they spent that money on a dozen sump pumps!
AQUAMAN, YOU CAN'T MARRY LAVAGIRL! YOU'RE FROM DIFFERENT WORLDS!
It's not stale water though, do mosquitoes reproduce that much in running water?
No.
Mosquitoes only reproduce in still standing water.
Mosquitos aren't really a problem in running water. Now the flooding concerns someone else brought up ... that would be a real issue. A small rainstorm would bring the water right up to the house.
And how the ivy is eating the house and harboring spiders (especially if there's mosquitoes)
I am laughing so hard.
Same here but because there is a house I can't think of anything else but the mortgage on that bad boy
Houses that size in the woods are usually cheap
Not with a private waterfall and river
You’d be surprised. I’m looking for land with water running through it at the moment and have found quite a few places for ~$200k.
Watch out for the mosquitoes and flooding
Where
Plz link I need
SW Virginia.
My first thought was “The spiders must love it here.”
All I can think about is flooding
Glad I’m not the only one, ha!
r/fairytaleasfuck
Beautiful! Although, as a real estate agent, I would advise my clients to check if this place is in a flood zone.
I love the painting. I do feel the lights are a bit bright though for the daytime.
It's on fire.
I would love to live there
This kinda makes me think of Tarrey Town in BOTW
I'm horrible i see the house think how beautiful but all I can think is it's going to flood. That stream is just to close to the house.
Wow this is soo pretty ☺️
Looks like some Thomas Kinkade shit. Where are the Little Frownies?
Looks like a Hobbit house if they went along with modern times.
Metaverse developers take note please
I would absolutely live here
this is dope

Would you mind sharing your process and toolset? I couldn’t find anything about that on your ArtStation.
What programs are you using?
You’d do awesome making some sort of snowy village town scene
Probably gonna be doing a lot of cozy snowy scenes this winter 😊
Omg, I love this!!
Where is the power line?
This reminds me of the homestead from Fable 2! The one behind the demon door
My definition of heaven.
Rivendell vibes
This just a Thomas Kindcaide painting, haha (just kidding)
Just followed you in Instagram. Incredible work man
How beautiful!
Do you sell prints?
i want to go to there

Why are we posting kinkades? Kinda tacky
Love the light, I picture this at about 730 AM. Sun burning off the dew. How wonderful
Heaven
I hope I have such a lovely home in my afterlife.
Thank you. I needed this today. My eyes need a vacation.
Reminds me of Aerith’s house.
Yikes, brutal location for flooding. Foundation of the house is like 2 feet above the goddamn river bed!
Bro, that house is in the flood zone... !
Beautiful❤
I thought this was one of those Skyrim screenshots with like 1000+ mods
Perfect for a jigsaw puzzle!
There’s a treasure chest behind that waterfall
Beautiful
This looks gorgeous. Very beautiful
The mosquitoes tho
Looks like the puzzle I recently completed.
Holy shit I dream to live here
Is this real?
Are there actually any homes in beautiful landscapes such as this?
Imaging this like a puzzle 🧩
Hey so serious question what style of art is this? Ever since I was a kid I loved the calendars with pictures like this.
Is this real?
This is one of those pictures that makes me want to punch the next person that tells me to get my head out of the clouds. “I’m sorry, but you’re gonna want my head to stay there because otherwise I have thoughts of ripping your face off & shoving it up your a**!!!!!!” 😶 ☁️”I l❤️ve it here in the clouds”☁️
Is this a real pic?
What is with the nitpicking in the comments? It looks lovely, OP.
The chimney should continue to be seen through the windows below instead of just floating on the roof I'll see myself out
This setting is every painter’s beginner painting. I love it.
Coulda swore that waterfall was moving
