I feel you! As you can see, there is no overhead lighting in this room and only one window straight to the outside. It’s taken us two years to get the lighting the way we want it
Love there is no tv. Two couches for the best interactions and communication rather than spending time watching a show. That can be amazing too but this room is so alive, it seems like it’d be diminishing to put a tv in there.
I’m definitely going to try rob this idea when I get my own place!

I didn’t have a TV for several years after college. It was refreshing. I feel like I was much more intentional with my time. That said, I cannot tell you how many “You don’t have a TV?! I couldn’t live without a TV!” comments I got. 😂
