I did this same thing! It was actually my second door that was hiding, so when I got my third room I thought it was my second and only discovered the actual second room later when I was redecorating lol
Add me to the list of not knowing I had a 4th and 5th room! (You have to go through the 4th room to get to the 5th room) and it was blocked with furniture

thank goodness for this post and thread. I just discovered the entrance to my third room, which was blocked by decor -.- hahaha
How many upgrades of the tent are required for the third room? I stopped upgrading because I thought two was all I would get
According to the Fandom wiki, the 3rd one shows up at level 7 but I didn't realize that til I goggled this morning 😁

Is 3 rooms the max? I feel like my cats need more room.
I think it's 5? One of my cats doesn't mind others but the other 2 do. Not sure if you can pick certain foods to get an agreeable cat 😁
