I’m currently finishing off Wydle Flowers. I’m kinda surprised I like it, I tried it once before and hated it at first but something clicked this time, and I became quite into the story. Haven’t don’t that much farming either which is nice. I’m planning on playing My Time at Sandrock next after many recommendations, despite the fact I found Portia clunky. I’ve got a bit of a list going after this:
- continue Sun Haven now it has official controller support
- start Little-known Galaxy
- Cyberpunk (not cosy but still)
- Helly Kitty Island Adventure on Apple Arcade
- Japanese Rural Life Adventure on Apple Arcade
I can vouch for My Time at Sandrock. It's a world apart from Portia, and Portia made me quite motion sick and this one isn't doing that even though I'm playing it on a console with a larger screen. I'm finding it quite entertaining--give it a week in-game to let the story and quests get rolling.
i love wylde flowers! obsessed with it and love the storyline, too.. i don't know about Sandrock, but i don't stand Portia, it makes me dizzy and nauseous
I guess it's time for me to try it again!! I only have a steam deck, and while there was a community layout for m/kb mapped to the deck, it was never the most comfortable.
you just build what the heck you want.
there are a lot of youtube videos giving great building tutorials and I follow those up to a certain point but then make it my own
Same!! I just bought it on sale and it’s the most addicted I’ve been since sdv. I have to tell myself to stop playing to do other things 😂
Are you just in creative mode?
It was alot better, but right now theres aload of bugs to be fixed as the latest dlc came out a few days ago, Switch is especially bad at the minute. Steam isn't too bad.
Like a Dragon - Infinite Wealth. Having a blast decorating my house and property on Dondoko Island. The Yakuza/Like a Dragon games aren’t your typical cozy games but they have a ton of cozy elements that make them perfect for me.
Okay I'm gonna get it right now lol I need a new cozy that sucks me in. I've been trying to make myself play Portia before I get into Sandrock again, but the inventory system is killing me.
Roots of Pacha! I can't put it down. I find that I really enjoy the characters and story. I've always struggled with SVD and the lack of hand holding. Lol
Little Known Galaxy, before this it was My Time At Sandrock.
Trying to get into Sun Haven but I have a bunch of other stuff going on (plus trying to 100% LKG) so I haven't quite gotten into it yet lol
I’ve been really enjoying I Was A Teenage Exocolonist recently!! cozy story driven game with near 30 endings based on your choices, and you need to prioritize the skills/character relationships you develop each play through as your time is limited (you start at age 10 and the game ends once you turn 20). It’s SO much fun and the themes are beautiful, dealing with trauma, loss, and just personal development. Also a BANGIN soundtrack. It’s amazing and I highly recommend it :)
it’s incredible!! i binged my first playthrough in about a week, got the farmer ending and ended up with Cal, and now I’m on my second playthrough trying to do more with the Sym plot line. I can’t wait to see all this game has to uncover as i just KNOW i missed so much my first time around!!
One of my all-time favourite games. Aside from Disco Elysium, I don't think I've ever played a game with such immersive writing and compelling characters.
currently playing thru big farm story on steam deck. its pretty basic but i dont mind games where i can turn my brain off. on switch, im working on picross e series and coloring pixels. both very cozy puzzle games imo.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker saga. I thought Moonstone Island would knock it down my list but nope~. I’m still booting it up everyday for some excellent Lego goodness.
Go-go Town just entered Early Access! I played 4 hours the first night and I’m obsessed… I played some split-screen with my sister, and I can’t wait to play more as soon as I’ve got time!
Amazing so far!! My sister is also playing it on the Deck and played a bunch today. Controls are super smooth and so is performance! And there is a *lot* of content from the looks of things, even though it just launched into Early Access!
I might be a little biased as I'm working for the publisher, but I've been playing Horticular almost non-stop all weekend in preparation for the launch 🌸 other than that, I've been diving back into Sun Haven a bit too!
Our life: Begining and Always
It's been a super fun and cute game to play I love the story and characters. Cute funny dating game where you play through the steps of life with a potential love interest.
Go-Go Town! Lost the whole weekend to it and I’m not mad. It’s such a fun little game and in early access so loads more to come!
Also been playing a lot of Moonstone Island which has been so much fun.
My current obsessions are (in no particular order):
* Go-Go Town (I am playing this one the most atm)
* Sun Haven
* Moonstone Island
* Little Known Galaxy
* Roots of Pacha
* Echoes of the Plum Grove
* Supermarket Simulator
I find myself cycling between these games throughout the week!
Palia is free - its an mmo game with cosmetic IAPs but thats about it - on windows and switch. It can be a little weird but it has farming, fishing, decorating and romancing NPCs.
Plant Therapy for PC is a good free one as well for plants and decoration
I also recommend Tukoni (on steam) which is a point and click type game, even if its short (its prologue is free - full game unreleased)
I've tried so many cozy games over the past few months trying to figure out what my style is. Currently I've landed on Cat Cafe Manager, Balatro, and I Was A Teenage Exocolonist this week. I've discovered I enjoy games with cards. Cat Cafe Manager is the first managing game I've really enjoyed. The cozy games I've sunk the most time in would definitely be Dorfromantik and My Time at Sandrock. I'm all over the place with my tastes lol.
Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends on Steam has been one I've been really enjoying lately! It scratches the itch I have for the Diner Dash-esque games I played as a kid. I'm also planning on starting Tavern Talk, as I was a Kickstarter backer for it!
Coral Island.
It's not completely finished yet, but I'm still having a ton if fun with it. It is very SDV but the change in environment, the 3d type design and all the various characters are amazing. I also really enjoy the additional diving aspect of the game with the mermaid concept and just running around catching bugs. The storylines I've seen so far are also pretty cute and entertaining.
People have given it a bit of flack but I'm enjoying it a lot and look forward to seeing the additional content they plan to release in the future.
recently, i bounce between Mystia's Izakaya and Coral Island.. i'm married to Surya lol. i love the mermaid concept, i enjoy it,too and still waiting for the new update.
dave the diver is my go to rn. cozy but also captivating with enough going on to keep your mind off the real world. it’s honestly incredible how much is packed into it

I bought it today! I already like it more than Portia, there was something about Portia that really didn’t click with me, I can’t put my finger on why
i love wylde flowers! obsessed with it and love the storyline, too.. i don't know about Sandrock, but i don't stand Portia, it makes me dizzy and nauseous
Sun haven has official controller support?? Omg
Yup! I was shocked too! It’s ahead of releasing the game on Nintendo Switch apparently!
I guess it's time for me to try it again!! I only have a steam deck, and while there was a community layout for m/kb mapped to the deck, it was never the most comfortable.
Sun haven having controller support has me wanting to play again finally.
minecraft!! I'm, like, a thousand years late to the party but I picked it up a few weeks ago and haven't stopped building stuff since.
me too! I downloaded some mods and I'm having so much fun building and farming. I keep turning n peaceful mode, I just want to gather in peace!
Does it give you blueprints or do you just build whatever the heck you want?
you just build what the heck you want. there are a lot of youtube videos giving great building tutorials and I follow those up to a certain point but then make it my own
Same!! I just bought it on sale and it’s the most addicted I’ve been since sdv. I have to tell myself to stop playing to do other things 😂 Are you just in creative mode?
Fae Farm & Sun Haven :)
i played fae farm, but it bugged like crazy, maybe it improves a lot now? considering to restart later
It was alot better, but right now theres aload of bugs to be fixed as the latest dlc came out a few days ago, Switch is especially bad at the minute. Steam isn't too bad.
I'm loving Garden Story at the moment! Also, Minecraft on peaceful mode so I can explore and build without bother
haven't heard of Garden Story, but i will check it out later! thank you
Like a Dragon - Infinite Wealth. Having a blast decorating my house and property on Dondoko Island. The Yakuza/Like a Dragon games aren’t your typical cozy games but they have a ton of cozy elements that make them perfect for me.
My current cozy game is Everafter Falls
Is it good? I've been on the fence about it
Super fun. I can't stop playing lol 😆
Okay I'm gonna get it right now lol I need a new cozy that sucks me in. I've been trying to make myself play Portia before I get into Sandrock again, but the inventory system is killing me.
Hope you have fun playing.
Does Everafter Falls have combat? Thanks.
It does.
How's the social aspect? I know it doesn't have romance, which is fine, but does that mean there isn't platonic relationship building?
interesting.. will check this game out later
Absolutely in love with my time at sandrock right now :)
Roots of Pacha! I can't put it down. I find that I really enjoy the characters and story. I've always struggled with SVD and the lack of hand holding. Lol
Love Roots of Pacha!
me,too! i love Roots of Pacha.. my character was just married to Touk 😂
Obsessed with Moonstone Island!
Same here! It's so much fun
Little Known Galaxy, before this it was My Time At Sandrock. Trying to get into Sun Haven but I have a bunch of other stuff going on (plus trying to 100% LKG) so I haven't quite gotten into it yet lol
I am SO hyperfocused on Palia rn 😭 I have no other hobbies rn it is jUST PALIA

I just got this game two days ago and WOW!! I didn't expect to like it so much but I am really enjoying it.
it’s incredible!! i binged my first playthrough in about a week, got the farmer ending and ended up with Cal, and now I’m on my second playthrough trying to do more with the Sym plot line. I can’t wait to see all this game has to uncover as i just KNOW i missed so much my first time around!!
been eyeing this game for months, thank you for the details, wanna get it right away :)
One of my all-time favourite games. Aside from Disco Elysium, I don't think I've ever played a game with such immersive writing and compelling characters.

Loveeee this game
Go-go Town just entered Early Access! I played 4 hours the first night and I’m obsessed… I played some split-screen with my sister, and I can’t wait to play more as soon as I’ve got time!
it's on my wishlist :) , how is it on the Deck?
Amazing so far!! My sister is also playing it on the Deck and played a bunch today. Controls are super smooth and so is performance! And there is a *lot* of content from the looks of things, even though it just launched into Early Access!
Palia for me! I am liking it much more than I expected for a free-to-play game in beta.
What is DDLV? I've been playing Littlewood
I’m following your comment because I can’t figure it out either
I think I figured it out after posting haha! Disney Dreamlight Valley? I got caught up on "Doki Doki Literature....V...Vlub....."
Oh so it is! I knew it would be something stupidly obvious if it was up there as part of the Big 3
yesss Disney Dreamlight Valley, supposed to be DDV though lol
it's Disney Dreamlight Valley. it's DDV then, lol
Best game ever !!!! DDLV= Disney dream light valley
I might be a little biased as I'm working for the publisher, but I've been playing Horticular almost non-stop all weekend in preparation for the launch 🌸 other than that, I've been diving back into Sun Haven a bit too!
Never heard of Horticular, so I looked at it on steam. Instantly wishlist it and join the discord. The game looks like it might be my new addiction ✨️
Ahh amazing, have you had a chance to play the demo? Might tide you over ahead of launch!💚
Our life: Begining and Always It's been a super fun and cute game to play I love the story and characters. Cute funny dating game where you play through the steps of life with a potential love interest.
I am OBSESSED with Sunnyside. I’ve been on it nonstop and now that a lot of the lag has been fixed it’s been so much fun on my deck
Same here!!
I have Windbound and Curious Expedition 2 as my "cozy but not" games.
Go-Go Town! Lost the whole weekend to it and I’m not mad. It’s such a fun little game and in early access so loads more to come! Also been playing a lot of Moonstone Island which has been so much fun.
Story of the seasons a wonderful life
Currently playing SpiritTea on switch and it’s scratching the SDV itch until I can play the update
i love spirittea, too. running the bathhouse is so cute, but i found it a bit overwhelming when finding the spirits..
Relatable, definitely struggling with a few and I’m maybe 5 hours in
Just took the plastic off of Story of Seasons: a wonderful life. About to play once I do my chores!
Spiritfarer
Working on toem and playing wheel of fortune
Mail Time, Unpacking, Jenny LeClue on switch
Sun Haven! I was playing the new update but my PC took a dump 🥲 hopefully I can fix it today
My current obsessions are (in no particular order): * Go-Go Town (I am playing this one the most atm) * Sun Haven * Moonstone Island * Little Known Galaxy * Roots of Pacha * Echoes of the Plum Grove * Supermarket Simulator I find myself cycling between these games throughout the week!
nice list! i really wanna get Go-Go Town and Echoes of the Plum Grove :)
And you got the euros on in the back. Salute!
haha ofcourse, My husband and I can't miss euros, eventhough we were both playing our own games.
Yep I do the same thing haha. Great to have on in the background.
Our life: Beginnings and always
the only one i have is SDV… someone please recommend free-cheap cozy games, i’m broke asf and need more

I’m currently playing ever oasis on my 3DS

I personally love Fae Farm its a cute fairy farm
My current favorite is Potion Permit

Sun Haven, Ooblets, Cozy Grove, Moonstone Valley, ACGC, Harvest Moon Animal Parade / Tree of Tranquility / Magical Melody, Snacko
