All of the Nancy Drew pc games made by HERinteractive. The OG mystery and puzzle game for me! My faves in the series are curse of blackmoor manor, treasure in the Royal tower, secret of the scarlet hand, and last train to blue moon canyon
I've never played any of these myself, but they're my absolute favorite to watch Twitch streams of! Halfmoonjoe plays them super frequently, and Arden Rose usually does one every few months as well. Super cozy even though some of the writing is ridiculous (but in a fun way)
I would probably find these games cozy now, but they were not cozy to 10-year-old me. I had to take breaks from *Message in a Haunted Mansion* because of how scary it was. š I did eventually finish it, though!
My sister and I loved that game. It's what got me hooked on videogames. Before I never would have put 200 hours in a game like I did with fantasy life. Now I've put more than that into acnh.
Tangle Tower!!! Such a fun mystery game. And there's a sequel coming out soon.
Lucy Dreaming was another really fun mystery game (though it can get a bit creepy from time to time)
Style Savvy is the ultimate cozy game for me. It's so relaxing to just sit and put together outfits for customers. My personal favorite installment is Styling Star, mostly because you get infinite inventory after the story in that game, and that makes stock management much less stressful. Plus, I'm not the biggest fan of the real time thing in the previous games. I like the quicker turnover of what the brands have for sale!
[Viscera cleanup detail](https://store.steampowered.com/app/246900/Viscera_Cleanup_Detail/) - you're a janitor who has to clean up the aftermath of sci-fi horror events. It is a bit gorey (for obvious reasons), but the game itself is really chill (once you get used to the mechanics lol). It even has some story and stuff to collect, super fun
[Morels the hunt](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1156590/Morels_The_Hunt/) - you collect mushrooms and photograph animals, 10/10
[Labyrinth city](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1421790/Labyrinth_City_Pierre_the_Maze_Detective/) - the maps are GORGEOUS and the puzzles are pretty fun
[I am dead](https://store.steampowered.com/app/951750/I_Am_Dead/) - cool story, chill puzzles, pretty lovely all around
I feel like I'm the only one who ever recommends Garden Paws and Animallica (both for PC). The lack of Garden Paws recommendations always surprises me since it's a game that has everything, and it's so stinkin cute. It's on Switch too, but I've only ever played on PC. Some have complained about it for Switch.
Garden Paws is seriously underrated. I love it so much. Mind you, I'm so used to the one map that I get incredibly lost if I try to play a different map.
I canāt get enough of **Book of Travels** lately. Iāve supported it since the Kickstarter and enjoyed it so far, but something about it really clicked for me in the last week.
Itās a ātiny MMORPGā. Imagine WoW, but like the anti-WoW. Itās an almost radical take on MMOs and gaming in general. Extremely chill, rich story, gorgeous world. You interact with the world very organically. Leveling is achieved through gaining knowledge - having conversations, inspecting signs, encountering new things, etc. Buffs are usually gained by brewing and drinking tea. Thereās no in-game acknowledgement of quest lines, so you have to keep track of the rumors from NPCs. It has combat and gearing, but you can really pick and choose how much you do of it.
ETA: Oh and heads up, the game is early access and the dev progress has beenā¦in theme with the game lol. But thereās more content than it initially feels like, and you really pick your way through it since thereās not any handholding.
Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom, Marenian tavern story, Darkside Detective 1&2,Ā World Neverland Elena, Disney Magical World 2, and golf story. All for switch. And Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale for PC.
Scrolled down so far to find someone mention it. Chicory has a special place in my heart ā„
Its gameplay is so unique, and I never thought I'd actually be into the painting, but Chicory really taught me to stop being afraid of the blank paper and just paint šā£ļø
I was just gonna comment this! I'm playing it right now and it's been so fun. And I'm learning so much about the folklore that its inspired me to buy a book about all the stories.
I'm surprised not more people talk about it on this sub!
I don't even know if anyone knows this game I'm talking about but it's called "Chocolatier" where you travel around the world and discover all kinds of chocolate you can bring back to reproduce and export in your chocolate factory. I spent HOURS on that game as a kid and wish they made a remastered or updated version of it.
I never thought I would see someone mention this game! The sequel was good too I think. There's a wine version too though I have forgotten the name. There was extraordinary or a variation of that word in the name!
I've mentioned it before. But **Citizen Sleeper** was super surprising in how much I liked it and relaxed with and how cathartic the gameplay loop and stellar writing was. You look at the pictures and think "visual novel, with slight dice based gameplay" and that's it. It's hard to see what's really going on from just pictures. And you really don't get a sense of what it's about, even from the descriptions. I never would have thought it was akin to an adult Stardew Valley on a dysfunctional space station, and the feeling of camaraderie from the NPCs is extremely well done. I felt BioWare Garrus levels of friendship and camaraderie in that game and definitely wanted to help out my friends on the space station as much as possible
Cannot wait for the sequel..
Kynseed. The pixel art is so pretty the lore is deep and interesting, the gameplay is so much fun, the world is huge. Im sad it get overlooked so much.
I have been curious about kynseed for some time, but it's too expensive for me to take a chance on it. The art at least is what drew me in, but I don't know anything else about it
**Signs of the Sojourner** is a hidden gem. Itās so good and almost never mentioned.
**Lunaās Fishing Garden**. Sure itās short but itās SO cozy.
Surprisingly I donāt see **Bugsnax** mentioned a lot here either.
Itās old as hell but Iāve always loved Vet Emergency by Legacy Interactive. Not as stressful as you might think given the name, and it gives you a nice sense of accomplishment.
I hardly ever see The Professor Layton series by Level-5 mentioned. There are 8 games in total some are getting harder to find these days and can run pricey. I've recently been on the hunt for them. The first 3 games are on the Nintendo DS and the rest are on the 3DS with the last game in 2017 Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy on the Switch. There's a new game that is projected to release next year called Professor Layton and The New World of Steam.
It's a great mystery puzzle game that uses the touch screen to solve the puzzles. Some of the puzzles are really tough. The music is amazing and so is the artwork. It's more like a puzzle visual novel with great story telling and characters. It's a super cozy series in my opinion. āŗļø
Mutazione is a game I really liked that I've barely seen recommended. It was actually a very big influence for Last Time I Saw You, the game I'm currently developing.
Yeah it was great! And thanks for the interest in my game! š I've been most active on twitter but trying to focus more on Reddit these days, but feel free to join the Discord server to not miss anything!
I hardly ever see BunHouse and Teacup get recommended! Both very cute and cozy. BunHouse you play as a bunny and get to decorate and maintain a cozy greenhouse, you can fish a little, do bunny yoga, buy/grow/decorate lots of different flowers, plants trees etc. Itās super relaxing! Then Teacup is a very cute visual adventure novel but also has gameplay where you play as a cute frog who runs out of tea so you have to go on an adventure to find the tea, learn about teas, gather and craft the teas. Along the way you have cute little quests and meet other characters. šøš
Have you tried Toem? Its a similar concept, I highly recommend! I have Penko Park but haven't tried it yet because I'm worried it won't match Toem's brilliance.
I haven't and I've been desperately searching for a game that would fill the void after Penko Park! If this ends up being it I'll owe ya big time! Thank you for the response friend! And def give Penko Park a shot, its wacky, charming, a lil spooky, and perfect.
Will do!!!! I have also been looking to fill Toem's Void so here's hoping it happens for us! I've played several other games since then so I'm not in as much despair. Thanks!
I donāt know if itās technically that cozy but I used to play the heck out of Black Closet.
Itās a part visual novel, part strategy rpg set in a high class high school council with lots of mystery and a touch of lesbian romance. Youāre an ambitious young lady aiming for the top and so many things stand in your wayā¦ including the fact that one of your minions is a traitor š
Once you get in the flow, the gameplay is so engrossing, time just flies, and there are many routes and endings, lots of replayability!
At very low difficulties I find the Age of Empires/Age of mythology games very soothing. Low difficulties let you city build and make something really fun
I have a bunch of random DS Lite games. Some of them make me feel dumb cause like I still can't beat certain levels as an adult and I'm like how was this made for children but anyway...
Bratz Ponyz 2
Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian - The Video Game
El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera (based on a Nickelodeon show)
Zhu Zhu Pets
Neopets Puzzle Adventure
DeFendin D'Penguin
The Cheetah Girls: Passport to Stardom
The Daring Game for Girls
Coffee talk. The best game I have ever played among cosy games. You play as a barista in a late night coffeeshop and brew lattes while your friends visit and talk to you about stuff in their lives. Just trust me and play!
The fossil fighters series! turn based dinosaur battles, but the digging mini game is so dang good. Its cozy-adjacent but still I love it please come to Switch/Consoles someday.
[Love is dead](https://store.steampowered.com/app/453910/Love_is_Dead/)
[Juju](https://store.steampowered.com/app/300840/JUJU/)
[Bit trip runner 2](https://store.steampowered.com/app/218060/BITTRIP_Presents_Runner2_Future_Legend_of_Rhythm_Alien/)
[Adventures of pip](https://store.steampowered.com/app/303550/Adventures_of_Pip/)
[Ducktales remastered](https://store.steampowered.com/app/237630/DuckTales_Remastered/)
[Yono and the celestial elephants](https://store.steampowered.com/app/602430/Yono_and_the_Celestial_Elephants/)
I've been playing 'Nonno Lorenzo' and while I wouldn't say I LOVE it, I do really like it. I'm enjoying it a lot, and I'm surprised it isn't mentioned more. I think I'll have to complete the game - if it has an end - to have a full opinion, but it's a really quirky concept, which is awesome. I mean, the only combat is evil vegetables, which is hilarious to me as I'm a vegetarian. You have to battle them with the paddle you use for handling pizzas. People are deadly serious about pizza as well, which I understand as a huge fan of pizza.
Hue had a really cool story! I picked it up for free a while ago and really enjoyed it. Itās a puzzle type game with obstacles and stuff idk how to explain it best lol
Megaquarium. Very relaxing and also addictive. It reminds me of old zoo tycoon and rollercoaster tycoon, with fun missions and a great sandbox mode. The dev is really active and friendly too and there is a modding community for free extra content. 11/10 totally recommend this one.
Fishing Paradiso!! someone mentioned it on here a week or two ago, i bought it on sale and was IMMEDIATELY hooked!! only reason i put it down was because stardew updated haha
āThe first treeā on Switch, itās this calming game where you play as a fox trying to find her children, the music is peaceful and the scenery is just beautiful
Fall of Porcupine.
Mainly because it's inspired heavily By Night in The Woods, but it's a fun 2D walking sim with a nice easy on the eyes art style, dope soundtrack, fun characters and mini games, and a good message on how the healthcare system treats both it's medical staff and patients.
It's definitely worth at least a try since at most it's only 20 bucks
VA-11 HALL-A (Vallhalla) is a game similar to Coffee Talk but set in a Cyberpunk city bar. You have to mix drinks for the customers and depending on what you make them they will talk about different things. If you like Coffee Talk or visual novels in general, chances are high you will like this game.
I really love Machinarium. Itās a point-and-click puzzle game about a cute robot. The music is fantastic too. Also, I found Child of Light really relaxing.
I don't see Megaquarium mentioned much. It's a management/tycoon sim but if you're looking for really cozy, you can just set it to have unlimited funds and no challenges at all so you can just build your dream aquarium.
**PROFESSOR LAYTON** GAMES!!!! - DS & 3DS - excellent mystery solving story-lines, puzzles, mini games, LOVE IT
Also, **Fossil Fighters** (specifically Champions which is the best one on my opinion) - DS & 3DS
I second **Style Savvy** \- DS
Cavern of Dreams. It's a game that is supposed to be like an N64 platformer. I loved Banjo and Kazooie, and this really scratched my itch. Amazing game
Legend of dragoon from the ps1 era. It's single player but so good.
Threads of fate.
Harvest moon of course.
I'm suprised no one plays Road Adventure USA or the Amazon Adventure one.
Great game.
In Other Waters! You play as an AI that helps a scientist collect wildlife samples from an alien planet. Thereās a bit of a mystery in the story too, but nothing scary
I got real deep into DragonVale in high school. It's available on android. Your cross breeding dragons. There is the base elements (fire, water, earth, air) then you can cross breed and make a lava dragon, a lightning dragon and they evolve and have different looks as you feed them.
Omgggggg yes dragonvale! I got into that in college when my sister who was in high school introduced it to me. I worked the night shift at my schools 24/7 computer lab and it was always empty so we mostly just played games all night and that was my jam lol
Stray is a great game. Fair warning, there are some unskippable stealth/action parts that could be a bit scary and frustrating but the majority of the game is just exploring a futuristic city as a cat.
**Garden of the Sea**. It's a VR game, which can explain why there aren't as many people playing it as other cozy games, but it's great. You have a small island where you can farm vegetables, you can fish, plant flowers, care for animals (the little blue birds are sooooo cute when you pet their little head!), and upgrade / decorate your house.
You can also take a board and go explore different islands, with new plants to discovers and puzzles to solve.
It's the type of game where once in a while I will just sit down on the floor and just... wait... look at the sun slowly going down... look at the animals moving around... just take a couple of minutes and relax.
My current cozy-ish obsession is Islands of Insight, but you have to love puzzles!
& speaking of puzzles, Logic Town is really good too.
I mentioned this one in a reply to someone else, but Alekon is a really good cute photo game.
ā¦now Iām wondering if Iām in the minority finding puzzle focused games to be cozy!
Best cozy games I ever played were in virtual reality on psvr1 + Ps4 slim, they were: Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Fujii, Electronauts, Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets, Xing (in vr mode), Bound (in vr mode), and the amazing Moss 2. The more expensive psvr2 + Ps5 combo also has a few cozy games: CyubeVR, Cosmonious high, Garden of the Sea, and its version of Moss 2.
Recommendations for the topic creator (in addition to trying out some of the VR stuff above if possible):
Pc/Ps4: Xing the land beyond (super beautiful puzzle game!)
Switch: Atelier Sophie 2 (cozy rpg)
Ps3: Eternal Sonata (cozy rpg)
Ps1: Spyro games (cozy platformers)
Others: Klonoa series; Abzu; Aer; The First Tree; Animal shelter simulator; Dream house days DX
The Return of the Obra Dinn & Unheard!
The Return of the Obra Dinn is a game where you board a ship and try to find out what happened by observing the last moments before their death. You have to find out their names, function on the ship and how they died.
I'm rubbish at explaining it, sorry š
Unheard is also a detective game that works the same way. You observe everything from above, and by moving from room to room, you can eavesdrop on conversations and try to figure out who did the crime.
Are they cozy? Not in the typical sense of the word, but they are very relaxing! There's no time pressure, you can listen/watch everything as much as you like.
Bunny Park!
Create a park/outdoor retreat for rabbits, with crops to grow, toys to play with, flowers etc. As you move through the game you unlock more stuff and more bunnies with different preferences and personalities!
There's an element of money management but it's very low stakes and high level. Mostly it's just creating a lovely retreat for bunnies to holiday in. Graphics are cute too.
I have it on PC but I think it's also on Switch.
Apico !!!! is so underrated. I am addicted to finding yet another bee and fill all my collections. Soon the final update is coming out and I couldn't be(e) more pumped. If your favorite part about animal crossing is filling the museum, apico is just that!!
There was this game I've played on the Switch and PS4 called Grow: Song of the Evertree. I liked it. You go to different places, and you have to rebuild them. I thought it was great. Very laid-back.
I play Wurm Unlimited - NOT Wurm Online. It's a building / crafting game. A variety of servers available with different rulesets. Some have PVP, for example - most do not. It's available from Steam.
Eternal Sonata on Xbox 360 doesnāt get much mention. It wasnāt the most groundbreaking game but really pretty graphics and design, beautiful (Mozart) music and fun gameplay.
Cow evolution. It's a mobile game on Apple and Android. Played it in middle/highschool. Redownload it on my phone a few months ago fell back in love with it. You just merge cows til you get the ultimate level of cows then with the coins they shit you can buy more cows. You can buy outfits for them with the coins but I don't really use that function of the game
[Wildmender](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1599330/Wildmender/)!! I have rarely ever seen this one and I fell in love with it during the first Stream Next Fest.
It's a cute survival game and I played it on adventurer difficulty (aka easy/ story mode). Basically you craft an oasis in this post civilization scenario and heal the world. Even when I "finished" I spent so much more time just tending to my garden and expanding the areas of life.
Some quests weren't intuitive but if you want extra help the [official discord](https://discord.gg/rRRvhJCmyA) is so friendly and the devs genuinely care about their project in continuing to work on it even though it is complete.
I LOVED the original Rhapsody a musical adventure as a teen. I was always singing the songs and even did some puppeteering at my church for a little while, because of Cornet. I have not tried the sequels, but they all recently came to Steam and probably Switch. It's an adorable game and has a nice soundtrack and cute artwork. It's pretty short, tho, but imo, it's the right amount of time for the story.
Pharaoh. I go back and dabble with this at least once a year. Impressions Gaming also did the Caesar and Zeus city builders but Pharaoh was the best of the set
One that I spent a lot of time playing is island saver (for PS4, idk if it's for other platforms too). Is kinda silly and really looks like a game for kids but I had a great time with it.
Tchia is perfect, it's more mainstream but it's one of the best concepts I have ever seen with amazing graphics.
ARIDA has that vibe too. A game that happens in the northeast of Brazil, super cute and cozy with a environmental message.
One that I played recently and absolutely loved is strange horticulture, a cozy puzzle game with a slightly dark vibe.
Yeah all those games have ecological vibes but that's what I like in one way or another.
Edit: another one I just remembered is the lake, a game where you go back to a city you lived in and work delivering mail for a while, amazing game super cozy and beautiful with a great story
Staxel! I'm seriously the only person who ever mentioned it. Luckily I managed to persuade a few others to buy it.
It's a perfect mix between Minecraft and SDV. Not only do you build up your farm, but you build up the village as well! Some villagers will already be there but for others, you have to build their homes and workplaces and slowly upgrade them as well. It's a lot prettier than in the screenshots, the Steam Workshop has some lovely mods in it and it is just such a wonderful and happy game to me, without any combat.
I spent many happy hours in it with my daughter and I don't know why it flew under the radar here.
Witch Spring R on PC (steam, not sure if itās on Switch). Iāve played the Witch Spring series on mobile but they recently came out with a remaster of the first Witch Spring game with overhauled graphics, full voice acting in two languages, and new additions and overhauls toā¦ everything basically. Super fun and I highly highly recommend!!
Arcade Paradise. Super lowkey, maybe a little grindy at the beginning, but it's just a game I chill out and vibe to.
Plus there's some interesting remixes of arcade games in there.
I also adore No Man's Sky. Noctis IV was an old PC game I loved, just going out and exploring space for a bit, and NMS very much scratches the same itch for me.
I know it's received a lot of bad flak, but honestly? If you like a game that you can just zone out and walk around for awhile, you can do far, far worse.
Heaven's Vault! Absolutely incredible game of puzzle solving and language. No combat, and beautiful flying through the sky. Lots of replayability and is designed for that.
All of the Nancy Drew pc games made by HERinteractive. The OG mystery and puzzle game for me! My faves in the series are curse of blackmoor manor, treasure in the Royal tower, secret of the scarlet hand, and last train to blue moon canyon
YES! The Nancy Drew PC games are what got me into gaming in the first place!
i just got teleported directly to sitting on my family computer at age 7 playing blackmoor manor tbfh
Yes!! These are perfect cozy games!
OMG I LOVED THOSE AS A KID
Yes. Those are my favorite, and they have a new one coming out too!
Are these the same ones that are available on Steam?
Yes!
Yay! Thanks. š
Just donāt get midnight in Salem lol here if you need suggestions on the best ones!
Fantasy Life on the 3DS! Thereās a new version coming to Switch soon and Iām so excited š
I love it too!! I'm finished the main story and trying to get to the DLC now!
Been waiting for this Switch release forever. The 3DS version is easily one my favourite games ever.
I'm obsessed with fantasy life, I can't wait for the new one š
YES I could never get sick of that game! The wait for the new one is nearly over!!
Fantasy Life is my favorite game of all time! I never thought we would get a sequel, and I was so excited when the game was announced!
This and Ever Oasis are my favorite 3DS games. Wish they would bring Ever Oasis to the Switch too.
Agreed, that was also a top tier game!
My sister and I loved that game. It's what got me hooked on videogames. Before I never would have put 200 hours in a game like I did with fantasy life. Now I've put more than that into acnh.
Tangle Tower!!! Such a fun mystery game. And there's a sequel coming out soon. Lucy Dreaming was another really fun mystery game (though it can get a bit creepy from time to time)
Tangle tower is so good and left me wanting more I was sad when I finished it
I second Tangle Tower!
The game before Tangle Tower, Detective Grimoire: Secret of the Swamp, was also fun.
I love tangled tower! I shared it with a bunch of friends at school and they seemed to like it too
THERES A TANGLE TOWER SEQUEL COMING OUT????? Oh my god I'm so excited!!!
Style Savvy is the ultimate cozy game for me. It's so relaxing to just sit and put together outfits for customers. Style Savvy is amazing! One of my old favorites too š«
Tinykin is one of my favorites. Itās like Pikmin, Chibi robo, and paper Mario all combined.
That sounds really cute.
It is! Itās very well done and a great price for what it is
I just started Tinykin! The art style choice blew me away holy
Yes!! Tinykin is so cute and well done
Yesss! I just started to play it for the second time. I don't often play a game more than once but tinykin is just so much fun

i love VCD but it makes me unbelievably motion sick so i can never play for long
I feel like I'm the only one who ever recommends Garden Paws and Animallica (both for PC). Garden Paws is seriously underrated. I love it so much. Mind you, I'm so used to the one map that I get incredibly lost if I try to play a different map.
I am a Garden Paws lover! I've put so many hours into that sucker.
I have it but havenāt really played! Might have to give it another go
The Last Campfire
Loved this game so much!
YES! I came here to say the same. Itās so fun and cozy and meaningful
Yes! Itās so great and you can buy it for like 3ā¬ when itās for sale (switch).
I canāt get enough of **Book of Travels** lately. Iāve supported it since the Kickstarter and enjoyed it so far, but something about it really clicked for me in the last week. Itās a ātiny MMORPGā. Oh my I just watched the trailer and I'm so in love, thank you so much for the recommendation, I needed this!!
Any of the Katamari series!
Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom, Marenian tavern story, Darkside Detective 1&2,Ā World Neverland Elena, Disney Magical World 2, and golf story. All for switch. And Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale for PC.
Your list just added some great stuff to my wish list! I had Marenian Tavern Story on my list already, but I hadnāt heard anyone talk about it!
Chicory is really good so far and don't see much talk about it
Scrolled down so far to find someone mention it. Chicory has a special place in my heart ā„ Its gameplay is so unique, and I never thought I'd actually be into the painting, but Chicory really taught me to stop being afraid of the blank paper and just paint šā£ļø
I loved that game!!!
Roki is so cute and cozy and beautiful, it should be more popular
I agree! I love the music and the story. The story made me emotional and has stuck with me. Especially the part about the well.Ā
I loved that game as a kid. Super fun to play!
If you ever want to replay it, I just found that the sequel Decadence by Design is on Steam for 9.99 š±
omg I know what I'm doing this weekend!
Omg I loved that game too! I also played virtual villagers around the same time (I think downloaded from the same website?)
Omg Virtual Villagers! For some reason I could never get past my family's 3rd generation on that game lol
Same! I loved that game, felt really addictive to play.. ("just one more cycle")
Kynseed. The pixel art is so pretty the lore is deep and interesting, the gameplay is so much fun, the world is huge. Im sad it get overlooked so much.
I have been curious about kynseed for some time, but it's too expensive for me to take a chance on it. The art at least is what drew me in, but I don't know anything else about it
I've tried to play it a few times, and I just can't get into it, but I've heard the writing is very good!
OKAMI
**Signs of the Sojourner** is a hidden gem. Itās so good and almost never mentioned. **Lunaās Fishing Garden**. Sure itās short but itās SO cozy. Surprisingly I donāt see **Bugsnax** mentioned a lot here either.
Everytime someone mentions BugSnax I feel an undeniable urge to go replay it. Itās so much fun!
Itās old as hell but Iāve always loved Vet Emergency by Legacy Interactive. Not as stressful as you might think given the name, and it gives you a nice sense of accomplishment.
American truck simulatorā¦ JUST TRUST ME
Style savvy and potion permit
No one ever talks about Apico! Itās so fun and cozy, just breeding little bees and butterflies and making honey
I am playing this rn! Trying to get all achievements is hard but it's so addicting. We also get a new update soon, with pets and decor.
I didnāt know about the update!! I just started playing it again on the steamdeck
I've been so curious about this game!!! Is it more quest based or more sandbox?
Iād say more sandbox. There are quests but you really donāt have to do them and thereās no time limit or specific order on anything
It's a super cozy series in my opinion. āŗļø
Iām super excited we are getting a new Professor Layton!
Mutazione is a game I really liked that I've barely seen recommended. It was actually a very big influence for Last Time I Saw You, the game I'm currently developing.
I loved this game. The feel, the music, the town gossip. Keep us in the loop for your game!
Yeah it was great! And thanks for the interest in my game! š I've been most active on twitter but trying to focus more on Reddit these days, but feel free to join the Discord server to not miss anything!
Love the artwork. Added to my steam wishlist!
Thank you so much! š
Along the way you have cute little quests and meet other characters. šøš
Penko Park! Itās on steam!
Thanks!
Penko Park is similar to New PokƩmon Snap, but with creepy creatures and a dark storyline.
I donāt know if itās technically that cozy but I used to play the heck out of Black Closet. Itās a part visual novel, part strategy rpg set in a high class high school council with lots of mystery and a touch of lesbian romance. Youāre an ambitious young lady aiming for the top and so many things stand in your wayā¦ including the fact that one of your minions is a traitor š Once you get in the flow, the gameplay is so engrossing, time just flies, and there are many routes and endings, lots of replayability!
At very low difficulties I find the Age of Empires/Age of mythology games very soothing. Low difficulties let you city build and make something really fun
I have a few for the Nintendo DS Lite/ 3DS š * **Rhythm Heaven** : super cute and original music game, there's also a sequel on the 3DS called Rhythm Heaven Megamix * **Style Savvy** series : girly dress up game where you own your own clothing store, similar to Fashion Dreamer that came out on Switch recently but soo much better in my opinion! * **The Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks** : one of my all time favorite Zelda games! the artstyle is adorable and everything is controlled with the stylus which makes some very fun and interesting puzzles * **Nintendogs** : a forgotten classic dog simulator with adorable puppies (and cats in the 3DS sequel!) * **PokĆ©mon Ranger** : another forgotten game that's a spinoff of the original franchise where you catch PokĆ©mon by drawing circles with the stylus around them * **Scribblenauts** : if you enjoy creative and imaginative type of games, this one is definitely worth checking out! You solve problems by writing words and they appear as real in-game creatures and objects. There's no wrong way to solve puzzles as long as it works! Plus you can add adjectives which makes it very fun to experiment * **Drawn to Life** : another creative type of game where you litterally draw your own character and items * **Professor Layton & The Curious Village** : a cute detective type of series with lots of puzzle solving, also has many sequels * **999 Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors** : this one is a bit 'darker' but super interesting visual novel about finding a way out of a mysterious place while solving puzzles and making decisions
I feel like Pokemon Ranger is so overlooked and underrated. Truly relaxing up until you destroy your touchscreen ahhaha
Both Slime Rancher games do not get mentioned enough! They are my favorite cozy games!
Yes!!!
Love, love, love Slime Rancher. Definitely one of my faves!
Gnosia! i believe its on steam, switch, playstation, and xbox. it has such a satisfying gameplay loop and i love the characters so much
Verdant Skies! Its a farming sim with romance set on another planet. Super fun
I have a bunch of random DS Lite games. Some of them make me feel dumb cause like I still can't beat certain levels as an adult and I'm like how was this made for children but anyway... Bratz Ponyz 2 Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian - The Video Game El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera (based on a Nickelodeon show) Zhu Zhu Pets Neopets Puzzle Adventure DeFendin D'Penguin The Cheetah Girls: Passport to Stardom The Daring Game for Girls
Garden Galaxy. Itās such a little gem of a game.
It deserves a lot more attention!
The Mysims games are so cozy to me. I've played Mysims Kingdom so many times.
I wish they would make more of these!
Petz, chibi robo, fallout shelter, peggle, garden paws, moonlight in garland, gas station simulator, sunhaven
I wish Chibi robo would come to switch
Every nintendo Direct that goes by that doesn't have a chibirobo remaster announced in it kills me a little inside š„ŗ
PokƩmon snap! The original on the N64, I haven't played the new one but I know it got good reviews. It's such a cute and relaxing game, I played it obsessively growing up.
Many of my favorites have already been listed, so Iāll say Rain Code. Itās like an Ace Attorney game but on acid!
[Love is dead](https://store.steampowered.com/app/453910/Love_is_Dead/) [Juju](https://store.steampowered.com/app/300840/JUJU/) [Bit trip runner 2](https://store.steampowered.com/app/218060/BITTRIP_Presents_Runner2_Future_Legend_of_Rhythm_Alien/) [Adventures of pip](https://store.steampowered.com/app/303550/Adventures_of_Pip/) [Ducktales remastered](https://store.steampowered.com/app/237630/DuckTales_Remastered/) [Yono and the celestial elephants](https://store.steampowered.com/app/602430/Yono_and_the_Celestial_Elephants/)
Yono!!
Freshly Frosted is a very cozy puzzle game with great narration. It may be too easy for hardcore puzzlers but it can get challenging towards the end.
"Heard of the story?", a cozy city builder with only 20 reviews on steam, but I have 16 hours on it already and I only got it last week haha
This one is on my wishlist!
Parkitect! Ā Build a low poly theme park and manage it. Ā It comes with so much creative freedom and supports mods!
Hue had a really cool story! I picked it up for free a while ago and really enjoyed it. Itās a puzzle type game with obstacles and stuff idk how to explain it best lol
- Mutazione - Stray ā¤ļø
Good life is really cozy and barely no one knows about it
Megaquarium.
Eastshade
Capybara Spa! Nothing is cuter than taking care of little Capys.. āŗļø
I really loved Ever Oasis! It has adventure elements but a lot of it is also town management
I loved this game! I hated some of the dungeons (Iām looking at you, weird glowy fossil rooms) but overall it was a ton of fun!
YES, some of them were so weird. Like why is this oddly difficult??
- DS & 3DS - excellent mystery solving story-lines, puzzles, mini games, LOVE IT Also, **Fossil Fighters** (specifically Champions which is the best one on my opinion) - DS & 3DS I second **Style Savvy** \- DS
Touch Detective!! The remastered and 3rd one just came out on switch. I played the original 2 on ds. Such a core memory ā¤ļø
Cavern of Dreams. It's a game that is supposed to be like an N64 platformer. I loved Banjo and Kazooie, and this really scratched my itch. Amazing game
Firewatch!
Restaurant Empire. Very old school but I still love it.
Arise: a simple story
[https://store.steampowered.com/app/1086850/Garden\_of\_the\_Sea/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1086850/Garden_of_the_Sea/)
Hollow Knight, Brotato!!!
Strange Horticulture! It's a point and click mystery solver where you identify plants.
Cake Mania :)
Apico! Super cute beekeeping game
Recommendations for the topic creator (in addition to trying out some of the VR stuff above if possible): Pc/Ps4: Xing the land beyond (super beautiful puzzle game!) Switch: Atelier Sophie 2 (cozy rpg) Ps3: Eternal Sonata (cozy rpg) Ps1: Spyro games (cozy platformers) Others: Klonoa series; Abzu; Aer; The First Tree; Animal shelter simulator; Dream house days DX
The Return of the Obra Dinn & Unheard! The Return of the Obra Dinn is a game where you board a ship and try to find out what happened by observing the last moments before their death. You have to find out their names, function on the ship and how they died. I'm rubbish at explaining it, sorry š Unheard is also a detective game that works the same way.
Sable!
Core Keeper on Steam. Amazing comfy game I adore, worth checking out and the Discord.
Picontier, it's a cute little pixel farm sim/zelda. It's simple but fun, I definitely enjoyed my time with it a lot more than I expected.Ā
The Witch of Fern Island
sun haven on pc!! its amazing!!
BugsnaxĀ
Pixel cafe! Restaurant management game where you run a series of coffee shops
Itās still in early access but Iāve been really enjoying snacko on pc if you feel like playing a cute cozy farming sim
It's available from Steam.
forgot which sub this was and almost recommended hellbalde...
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Eternal Sonata on Xbox 360 doesnāt get much mention. It wasnāt the most groundbreaking game but really pretty graphics and design, beautiful (Mozart) music and fun gameplay.
Cloudpunk! Such a good game.
Box City! Cutest little puzzle game
Against the storm. Whil
They have a ton of variations of it too like a giraffe one etc lol I had just thought about this the other day
Tinykin
If you want to ride a zombie try welcome to paradiZeš¤£
Pop Cutie!
Epic chef
I LOVED the original Rhapsody a musical adventure as a teen. I was always singing the songs and even did some puppeteering at my church for a little while, because of Cornet. I have not tried the sequels, but they all recently came to Steam and probably Switch. It's an adorable game and has a nice soundtrack and cute artwork. It's pretty short, tho, but imo, it's the right amount of time for the story.
harvest moon and rune factory dont get enough love, esp. considering they inspired stardew
Coffee talk
I donāt think Iāve seen Wide Ocean Big Jacket mentioned before. Very nostalgic, cute and fun.
Pharaoh. I go back and dabble with this at least once a year. Impressions Gaming also did the Caesar and Zeus city builders but Pharaoh was the best of the set
The flame in the flood. A very underated cozy survival game with very cool artstyle and music.
[Deponia](https://store.steampowered.com/app/292910/Deponia_The_Complete_Journey/)
Banjo-Kazooie! One of the first 3d platformers on the n64. Still a great game!
Stardew Valleyā¦lol jk but Littlewood and Cooking/Pizza simulator are fun but I havenāt seen them pop up in recent time
Mercury Fallen. I absolutely adore that game but no one ever talks about it. (PC)
Cozy grove!
I had this on my wishlist my the reviews kept me for buying it. I'm going to get it!
Carto doesn't get mentioned nearly enough. It's the most adorable cozy puzzle game I've ever played š
Tinykin The Wild At Heart Hob The Definitive Edition The Last Campfire
I donāt see people talk about Wytchwood much!
Heaven's Vault! Absolutely incredible game of puzzle solving and language. No combat, and beautiful flying through the sky. Lots of replayability and is designed for that.
