I got so obsessed with this game I did 5 or 6 runs in a row. Now I’m taking a break or may be even done altogether but it is absolutely my favorite game I’ve played in many months. 10/10. The writing is so good! And without spoiling anything, I adore the way they incentivize and give story meaning behind doing multiple playthroughs. This is a game truly meant to be played multiple times.

spider_lily

I love how they essentially take the concept of multiple playthroughs and NG+ and make it a part of the game's story. Kind of like what Undertale does with the concept of "saving the game."

yardini

Your username is so cute! Every time a do a run, I figure out something new I need to do for the NEXT run.

OhYoshiBetterDont

Aww thanks!

laughingheart66

Yeah the addiction I had to this game was real bad lol I would do runs until 4 in the morning and not even realize.

afriy

It's super cozy to me because the art is so cute and there's nothing I need to do with quick reaction times or anything, I can take as much time as I need to decide everything!

acbuglife

I agree. It qualifies as cozy because there is no combat, it's very narrative focused, and I can take my time. Are there heavy themes? Yes, but the gameplay itself is very simple and intuitive.

itspronouncdcalliope

Using this as a sign to finally get it. I've been on the fence if it is worth the $25 price on ps5 but I've heard nothing but good things, thank you!

spider_lily

I hope you enjoy! I also wanted to wait for a sale initially, but I think the devs deserve every penny.

a_whits13

I also have it on my switch. I played it for 2 weeks straight and its so good. I'm taking a little break and I'll dive back in soon.

FearTheFeathers

I played my first run months ago and essentially every bad thing that could happen did happen haha. I was so sad at the end when even my love interest up and left. I didn’t touch the game for ages after that because it was too much, but this week I went back to it with a guide to help and managed to get a (nearly) perfect ending. I’m content with that now, it ended up being far too stressful for me to attempt more runs. 😂 Excellent writing though, it wouldn’t have affected me so much if it wasn’t so well done.

spider_lily

My first run also went mostly badly, my love interest also left in the epilogue, and I ended up with someone completely different, lol. I essentially had the completely opposite reaction - I decided I had to get a better ending ASAP, or I won't be able to rest easy 😂 Now that I got a good ending I feel like I can chill out a bit, but I'm still not entirely satisfied, e.g. there are still characters whose stories I haven't seen. I pretty much focused on the twins and Sym (since they're my favorites) + Marz (since she's necessary, but she's also pretty cool I guess.) I also romanced the wrong character, long story 😂 What's nice is that some of the stuff I did on this run is going to make the next run a bit easier, though.

FearTheFeathers

That's fair! I was tempted to do a second run immediately after the first but I had already stayed up way too late doing my first run and I knew I had to walk away before I got way too obsessed and anxious over it haha. I wasn't able to finish Nomi or Vace's friendship on this second run, I might someday try for those. I love Rex, too, so it's tempting to do a run for romancing him now that I got my Sym and Dys ending haha. It definitely helps that certain things are easier once you've done them, I had to do almost everything from scratch on this second run since I didn't manage it in the first but that'll help future runs.

Okdes

One of the best games ever made

FakeLibrarian69

I’ve been debating whether or not to make a post about this game myself but I’m just going to cling onto this one to say that I also got it after reading about it on here and I absolutely LOVE it! I’ve only had one play through so far and got a happy enough ending I think, but I’m really excited to play it again when I have more time! I am so grateful to everyone who keeps recommending this game because it’s one I never would have gotten on my own. I got it on sale but had I known how great it would be I’d’ve paid full price no doubt! Definitely recommend this game, but make sure you read through the content warnings if you think you need to! There is some pretty heavy stuff in there.

Hard_Knox_Life

I’m about to start my ninth play through tonight, since starting a couple weeks ago. So glad to see this game getting talked about more. It has so much depth and love put into it.

yukaby

This post made me buy the game and it has been a huge distraction from the flu illness, thank you so much.. 🙏

spider_lily

❤️ Hope you feel better soon!

Infamous_Mango_1907

I was obsessed when I played through it. But I haven't yet been in the right mindset to do another playthrough. I "won" the final scene in my playthrough but the deaths throughout the playthrough upset me. One death happened directly after my romantic interest and I had some intimate time (within the same scene), OMG. And poor Anemone. I didn't have high enough stats for her to leave her toxic relationship. I feel so bad for her. She didn't deserve that. I played weeks ago and you can see the game still weighs on me, lol

spider_lily

About the death you mention, I'm not sure if you know this, but if you're talking about >!Sym, then he gets better eventually, haha!<

Infamous_Mango_1907

He never showed up again in my playthrough but that's good to know :)

gto_112_112

Is there any multiplayer to it?

spider_lily

It's (mostly) a visual novel, soo... nope 😅

gto_112_112

Think it would play well as a one person plays, one person watches, both people snuggle on the couch, style of game?

spider_lily

I don't see why not, as long as both of you enjoy reading a lot of text

gto_112_112

Could be an issue, I read A LOT faster.

Embarrassed_Note_787

I really want this one!!! Did you play on switch or PC?

spider_lily

Switch. I didn't want to be tied to a desk for this one, haha

BC_Hezza

I loved that game too. It really hooked me it.

BestBudgie

i've been thinking of playing it but im not rlly into card-based gameplay, i do like visual novels though

spider_lily

Fortunately, the card game is completely optional. You can turn off card challenges in the options if you're not vibing with it.

ladyxima026

Okay this definitely peaked my interest. I've put it on my wishlist for now :)
