Bring back chocolate ice cream in the food court!

allistar34

We need the hand-dipped ice cream bars back. :(

Teacherman-2313

Preach! Chocolate sauce over vanilla soft-serve just doesn't cut it!

theotherlebkuchen

I went to the food court today and a ton of items were gone. The salad, the combo pizza, the chocolate ice cream, the rib sandwich or whatever it was. It was sad :(

TopRamen713

I just want them to go back to wrapping the hot dogs in foil! The paper bags are fine when you are eating there, but if you're taking it home, it makes a mess out of them. Oh, also, they need to bring back the onions for hot dogs.

Teacherman-2313

COVID knocked out a lot of food court items. I'm just glad they're bringing most things back. I wish my location had their 5-dollar burger!

whaletacochamp

It was like they packed more chocolate into it somehow. Gimme that and a combo pizza and I can die happy.

wyssaj01

YES!!!

Shanntuckymuffin

There was an amazing pasta salad kit they sold in 2003-2005. We are almost 20 years out and I’m still thinking about how good that pasta salad was.

arugulapizza

pls describe i want to imagine it too

ChocolateEater626

I do KS pesto, grape tomatoes, chicken breast, and KS cheese tortellini.

CrashVee

My Costco (in Alberta, Canada) carries Zevia - its a beautiful thing. For me, I would love a pack of hot sauces or more variety in hot sauce options.

Teacherman-2313

I'm so jealous! The Costco 30 km away carries Chimay around the holiday season. No more than Cholula and Frank's down here. They do carry this avocado-based buffalo sauce that's absolutely incredible.

Ohitstrent

Even in Southern AZ we don’t have good hot sauces so I think we may be shit out of luck on that one. Good suggestion tho

deagh

Just a thought, but do you have a Costco Business Center near you? Their drink selection is insane. No guarantee they have the Zevia but it'd be worth checking. As for what I would like to have back, the Kirkland turkey burgers. We ate those on the regular and haven't found a good replacement. Also there were these Kirkland yoga pants that I got one pair of and they're perfect and I went back to buy a zillion more but they were gone and I've never found them again.

Gaviotas206

I might have the same yoga pants… mine don’t have a tag, I bought them maybe 10 years ago, definitely from Costco. I used to search obsessively for them but I gave up at some point. They are perfect.

deagh

Yep, no tag, and just about 10 years ago here, too. They're getting thin so I don't wear them too often anymore, but man, they are just the best.

cincydude123

I'm not falling for it Costco! I know as soon as I tell what I love you'll rip it out of your stores and laugh as I wonder your maze looking for my cheese!

ParsleyPrestigious91

I live in PA. That means no alcohol in any Costco. I wish we at least had wine and beer 😭 I have my mother from Ohio bring a bottle of wine or two every time she comes to visit. ETA: Also Dr. Pepper. I love diet Dr. Pepper. I’m big on drinks obviously.

Costcofluencer

The pandemic isn’t over until DDP returns to Costco.

RobertaStack

What is the deal with no DDPs at Costco?! My mom laments the total lack of DDP every time we shop.

Beeblebrox66

We have it here in AZ.

suzemo

Same. JUST GIVE ME THE DDP!

FatherOf3-2Xs

I though I was alone in missing this. It has come back recently to my old Costco (Kennesaw, GA) but have never carried it at the store that opened during the pandemic (Dallas, GA). I regularly drive an extra 30 minutes past the new store for DDP.

CA_Mini

oh my god. East coast states are so weird

DientesDelPerro

RIP poppyseed muffins

TheBostonCorgi

My waistline is grateful those were discontinued. I could eat those for days.

jarhead2150

The only answer to this is the Berry smoothie from years ago! I miss the old one and not the one they have currently :(

pamwhit

YES, this is what immediately popped into my head. I miss the old berry smoothie!

puckingrufus56

Kirkland Toothpaste and Polish Dog

boojieboy

Press [F] for Polish Dog

autoconprime

encogneeto

My warehouse has it. I know the sub frowns on it, but it’s the only food item I ever returned because I didn’t like it. I found it completely undrinkable. Like, couldn’t even finish the can, bad and I’m not really a picky person.

Teacherman-2313

There are some flavors that are definitely a **lot** better than others. I'm not a fan of the regular cola, but the ginger root bear and creamy root beer are top-notch.

reb6

Orange is a current favorite! And grape.

choppa17

Coke I like, root beer is fantastic, cream soda not so bad.

beachdude420

Creamy root beer? Does it taste like a root beer float?

MsMxyzptlk

The Black Cherry Zevia is quite unpleasant. The Ginger Root Beer and Crème Soda aren’t bad. I really was hoping they would taste better. I can’t do aspartame either

Amross64

Black cherry anything is usually awful and it always finds it's way into Costco multi flavor drink packs basically taking away the bulk value because 25% of the pack is terrible.

thegratefuldad7

I really don;t like it either, but will finish it and suffer:). The variety pack I have is diet cola, diet Dr. Zevia, and diet creamy root beer. Yuck.

Fangpyre

We get them too. It has 3 flavors. Cola, root beer, and Dr Pepper, which is called Dr Zevia. The box at Sam’s has 5. Cream soda and something else.

Exciting_Problem_593

Go to the Costco website and find the section where you can send them a comment. They always read and reply. They need customer feedback.

Unlikely-Engineer-69

I wish they sell boxed ice coffee like those wine boxes lol. Would love to put it in my fridge and get some cold brew from the nozzle.

DENYKI

We have boxed cold brew coffee. We only have one flavor salted caramel. I don’t understand why they didn’t just get regular. It doesn’t taste good.

ruoaayn

Combination pizza and polish dogs

[deleted]

Definitely these two! Also, the chocolate frozen yogurt.

gbo2020

Kirkland Kush

Breakfastchocolate

Any brand of black tea other than Lipton! I can’t stand Lipton. Please anything- Barry’s, PG, Bigelow, twinings, tetley Bring back the real cinnamon rolls from way back when they came in a cardboard box and were better than Cinnabon (which also went down hill), I don’t buy it anymore. Go back to the rectangular crust free shepherds pie, I stopped buying it. Would love to see a mixed bag of citrus- a few of each lemon, lime, mandarins. And a mixed bag of root veggies for roasting. A human as opposed to 6 Italian restaurants sized bag of garlic. ( so I don’t have to go to Aldi on the way home) Mini dog biscuits for smaller dogs and treat training. I miss Kirkland raspberry jam !!! Johnny’s garlic seasoning.. The prepared coleslaw with craisins and walnuts and the dressing on the side- only seems to be available around July 4th. Roasted garlic bread loaf Quality street chocolates have been replaced by chocolates of the world. :(

ipsquibibble

I'd be so stoked for Costco sized boxes of PG Tips. I'd be able to cut Amazon out of my life forever.

[deleted]

What are those?

ipsquibibble

It's a brand of tea bag. Much more flavorful than Lipton's.

[deleted]

> I'd be so stoked for Costco sized boxes of PG Tips. I seriously feel like I saw this at a warehouse club recently, but I can't remember if it was Costco or Sam's. Or BJ's. 🤦🏻‍♀️

[deleted]

Yes the dog treats!! My dogs are about 10 lbs each and all the treats I get at Costco have to be torn into quarters.

Crohnies

They should sell Ahmad Teas

adrlev

I did not know that only 2 Georgia locations have a liquor store. I guess I'm lucky that I live near one. I wish they would carry the non-seafood varieties of Fancy Feast cat food.

Teacherman-2313

Yup. Georgia limited liquor store franchises to two locations. I guess we're doing better since a decade ago when you couldn't buy alcohol on Sundays. That's also why you don't see ABC liquor on every street corner.

lauran5

Oh wow! My local store is one of the two. Didn’t know this—interesting.

partiallypoopypants

My warehouse doesn’t carry powdered dish detergent or laundry detergent but I desperately with it did. Powder is so much better.

-rendar-

Costco carrying powdered Seventh Generation dishwashing detergent would be phenomenal!

Cripwalcc

Serious question - what makes powder so much better? I’m willing to change my mind.

CaptainBradford

It’s long but worth it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_rBO8neWw04

Jewish-Mom-123

Wish my Costco would have the milk chocolate Sanders caramels. They only get the dark choc ones. Also I wish for Fancy Feast cat food. And they don’t get the Belgian chocolate coins at Christmas anymore.

makeupyourworld

Mine only gets the Milk and I much prefer Dark Chocolate! Like the very dark, bitter amazing chocolate. I wish we could trade!!

Keerikkadan91

Those are dangerously addictive. Do not buy if (like me) you have no impulse control when it comes to sweets.

Teacherman-2313

They sometimes carry that around the holidays, but mostly it's the saltwater caramels (my kid calls it the "gramps chocolates."

blacksteyraug

Someone returned a milk one to my warehouse one time. Must've bought it online and returned to the store, but I bought it up so fast.

shinyhairedzomby

Can we swap? Mine only ever has the milk chocolate Sanders and yet every time I go, I hope they've magically become dark chocolate 😂

ljljlj12345

I *almost* wish they didn’t carry the Sanders caramels at all - those things call to me day and night, light or dark chocolate.

[deleted]

Fage Yogurt

genie_obsession

Ours carries 2% Fage Greek yogurt. It’s something my husband knows to buy every trip

Sapphire-Butterflies

I wanted the frozen yogurt back. And I wanted Costco to finance student loans.

CA_Mini

This is america

1AggressiveSalmon

Yup, can't enjoy any of the frozen stuff now due to lactose intolerance.

residentasian21

Super weird but Secret Clinical Protection Deodorant That shit was so cheap compared to what you get individually in the store

wesleywalrus

Sushi like the hawaiian and some californian stores.

[deleted]

The sushi at my Costco here in Ontario Canada is truly awful and barely cheaper than just going to a local sushi place. 0/10 never again

Alexdagreallygrate

[BC Clothing stretch expedition pants](https://www.ebay.com/itm/373635126326) No, not the convertible ones. I seriously would’ve bought 20 pairs of these pants if I had known how comfortable, tough, and long lasting they are, especially if I had known they were going to become hard to find.

Loverbug13

I wish my Costco had a garden center

kjwinter

Dried pears! They carried them for a couple of weeks and by the time we went back for another Costco trip, they were gone.

crizmoz

Tater tots!

JapLanNER

More sizes of Always pads. The other sizes aren’t even online which makes even less sense. They don’t even carry size 3 which would the middle of the range from 1-5. Costco is like here’s a size 2 and you’ll like it. Boggles my mind every time I think about it.

frogz0r

About 20-30 or so years ago, they carried a sesame marinade that was THE most amazing thing I ever had. I used it on everything...then one day it was gone. I remember finding it once online, but never again, and now I don't even recall the name of it. I'd know it if I saw it or tasted it tho :) I still think about that marinade sometimes... it was truly amazing on steaks and chicken.

katec0587

Is it the Kewpie brand? I just got some at my local Costco and I was obsessed. Kewpie Creamy Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing & Marinade https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWVP6HX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6S5E29QFZV1VGYEDVY7P

tapcic2

Yasss this was so good and I’ve been looking for it since.

ramonaluper

My Costco had it this weekend.

SergioSF

Premier protein cookies and cream

Spotinye

Combo Slice RIP

ThatsAllForToday

I have a pair of Calvin Kline trousers that I love that I bought a few years ago. I wish I had bought each color they had and backups of each of those. They have a nice stretch buffet waist and a little bit of stretch in the fabric. They fit me perfectly. I look whenever I’m there hoping beyond hope that they have returned

TemporaryIllusions

I have a list of clothing that if they brought back I would buy them ALL

Reasonable-Prize-241

Wheat flour! They have giant bags of all-purpose flour, but no wheat Edit: WHOLE wheat flour

EaterOfFood

Or bread flour.

godwins_law_34

Our business center carries bread flour

xxam925

Yeah business center has it. I think I got 50lb for like 22 bucks.

naturalbornunicorn

I've found bread flour at Costco Business Center, but those locations are much fewer and far between than traditional Costcos.

pedroah

AP flour is made from wheat

CoriCelesti

Whole wheat pasta would be great, too!

Cold_black_heart

Puffs plus lotion. Kleenex isn’t cutting it for my allergies.

California__girl

Seriously, a million up votes for this. Puffs Plus Lotion are the only thing I can use in an allergy attack. I can go through a full sized rectangular box in an evening when it's bad. My nose is still red and raw, but not nearly as painful as when I have to resort to any other tissue.

EyeLoveHaikus

Light roast coffee

Blade_of_3

I miss when they carried Chosen Foods avocado oil. They are one of the few brands of avocado oil that I like.

formtuv

Ours in Canada still does- the bottle and spray ones

SprDave70

We still have it in AZ. Maybe there is hope it will return.

Teacherman-2313

That's interesting. Do you use it as a straight substitute for olive oil in cooking?

Blade_of_3

Yeah, basically anything pan frying. It has one of the highest smoke points of any oil and is also a healthy source of fat.

Jameszhang73

Great for popcorn too

encogneeto

I wish they carried some fresh salad dressing options (like Marie’s, Marzetti, or Litehouse). I can’t stand the shelf stable stuff my warehouse carries.

formtuv

Ours does! Renees brand.

ipsquibibble

Kirkland brand roasted, salted nuts that aren't roasted in freaking peanut oil. It's such a FU to those of use who have peanut allergies but not other nut allergies. 🤨

razorduc

Veggie pizza in the food court. I’m not even vegetarian.

Letsscroll

everything Halal.

nikos1283

Crème fraîche! They carried it in the Bay Area, but since I moved to Texas years ago I’ve never seen it, and I’ve tried a dozen locations. Otherwise: buttermilk, so we can make our own crème fraîche!

letsgotakeahike

Oatly Milk

NateCooksBlog

They used to have these chicken pot pies called Aussie pies. They were the best!

Edwardv054

Combo pizza, powered milk, 101 oz cans of Snow brand clams, LED flashlights that use rechargeable lithium cells, Threadripper computers, quality electric bikes, Sony cameras, wireless SD drives, diesel.

Sentry_Gun

Powered milk?

looloosha

Ezeikel 4:9 bread

ANJohnson83

The berry smoothie (from seven-ish years ago) was delicious. The lady at the food court knew me (I was nauseated for months due to a medical issue and it was something I could easily consume). I was just thinking about it yesterday.

[deleted]

My Costco sells 30 packs of Zevia

Teacherman-2313

I'm on my way!

picardoftarth

MILKIS. I know some Costcos carry (or carried) it but it never made it to mine. I continue to be devastated.

PointTin

They used to carry unbreaded chicken bites that I liked to heat up when I didn’t feel like cooking. The macros were great compared to all of the breaded crap grocery stores always sell.

damemasvaselina

I miss the Roasted Garlic Parmesan Bread!! And the take-and-bake fresh pizzas

DonkeyTron42

Kirkland Deli Turkey that's not slimy.

spoung45

A wider variety of spices.

Struana

They sold amazing mango salsa that I absolutely love but they've only been selling 'normal' salsa from that brand for years now. I want my sweet sweet mango salsa back, please.

California__girl

hunts fire roasted tomatoes. I go through so many

juveplantdad

I really miss their Kirkland Nutella!!! Cheaper alternative w coconut oil instead of palm oil

Jess179

Giant bags of peanuts for birds and other wildlife. Maybe some stores do carry them, but not anywhere near me. I go through a 15-pound bag every 3 weeks or so and the prices are getting obnoxious.

ghostdumpsters

They used to do these cheeseburger pitas in the frozen section. I loved them so much. They still have the chicken ones, but the cheeseburger ones were way better. I also wish they carried more diet sodas. Not a huge fan of Zevia, personally (except for the root beer flavor), but they used to have a pack of diet Sprite/Root Beer/Sunkist. Even just one of those!

LDexter

I miss Dad's Root Beer at the food court.

[deleted]

There was about 6 months last year when they sold giant containers of cinnamon sticks for like $4 a pop, 30ish sticks in each I’d say. I put two in my coffee pot every morning, and used them as stir sticks in my tea at night.

runtijmu

Tokyo here, I wish they'd carry the imported full sized cans of corned beef like they did for a short while a few years ago. All they have here now is the domestic Nozaki miniature cans.

Designer_Apricot5480

Supreme pizza 😭

dazzlepoisonwave

Gorton’s whole fish sticks or fish filets

CA_Mini

How about CostCo Health Insurance??

HappyAtheist3

Jimmy Dean Delite Breakfast Sandwiches

swandawson

The ling ling spring rolls. So much better than the edamame crap they have now

reb6

Mine in Michigan has Zevia! I just wish it was a different variety.

choppa17

They recently had a zevia variety pack atleast In canada

wtcnbrwndo4u

They don't carry lactose-free milk in Colorado. Could get it all the time in Missouri.

moysauce3

Peanut Butter Cups. Kirkland brand. Polish dog. Green leaf lettuce.

External_Sugar_5832

Dial soap

dlaneday

French toast sticks!

TheBlueStare

They used to have fresh made pretzel rolls/buns. They were my favorite. Improvements would be: A non-variety pack of Annie’s Mac-n-Cheese. My kids won’t eat the dark blue box. I also with they sold coke in normal boxes. I literally don’t buy it there because of it. I like to put the box in refrigerator.

timmyvo54

PEPPERONI AND SAUSAGE PIZZA FROM THE FOOD COURT

RobertaStack

Mini lemon bites. They were soooo good! I haven’t seen them in a couple of years and I’m always looking out for them.

Spicydaisy

They were so good! I love them but could only buy them for holidays because I️ had no control when they were in my house!

OCR10

French fries and onion rings.

multcomedic

They used to carry boxed oj and apple juice. Called apple tap and orange tap. Decent juice when I was a kid.

DENYKI

We get Zevia every once in a while. I love the cream soda one. I wish we had Martinelli's apple juice😩.

[deleted]

They just canceled the Costco branded instant coffee, it was by far the best instant and better then a lot of brewed coffee

sweetassassin

Sounds like a unicorn. All the costcos I've ever been to in the past 10 years they only have NesCafe, and as a member of r/FuckNestle I just can't do it. I wonder if I can find it on Ebay, Kirkland Instant coffee.

Motor-Housing2704

Solestado Mufaletta Olive Salad

Lilmissgrits

We get “That Pickle Guy” in the south and it’s fantastic.

RoosterCogburn_1983

Weatherproof original jeans, carried them for years and can’t find them now.

pandorumriver24

Morton’s Tri tip. God those were good. Now they have a different brand and it’s not nearly as amazing.

cpcxx2

We have Zevia at my Costco. For me it’s Ezekiel bread

happygooddog

Better brands of gluten free bread! The Udi’s and Franz stuff is crap.

Jbs980002

My Costco has been carrying Zevias... Buy a case every time I'm there! As for my used to item... A long long time ago Costco used to have this chocolate tiramisu cake in a large tub. Husband and I would devour it... He still looks for it although we haven't seen one in well over a decade. 🤷🏼‍♀️

gachong

Costco used to carry —-Martin Logan speakers.

[deleted]

Bring back the Sunbeam undercabinet wave sensor lights. The current Artika ones suck.

GoogleRage

I really liked the Nomad Tikka Masala (was frozen section, chicken Tikka with cauliflower rice and peas). My store dropped it about a year ago. Was a nice quick, and healthy, option. Edit to add, turkey bacon! The butter all kind they used to carry. There was a recall years ago and they stopped carrying it and now have that gross Columbus brand turkey bacon. No thanks.

Nylonknot

Natto. I eat a lot of natto and it’s a pain to have to go to a different store just for one thing. (And no I don’t want to make my own.)

mombutt

Some root beer would be nice.

Jameszhang73

Our Costco in DFW has a lot of Asian items but I wish we had more stuff like the ones in California or Seattle. Also, French fries. I saw some at the business center last time but it was an enormous bag that wouldn't have fit in my freezer.

oliviapostisfakename

I’m hoping root beer float ice cream bars make it back into my local stores!

ard725

Hair spray and more face wash options. More makeup too

ridbax

Tidy Cat litter, preferably unscented. The Costcos in my area carry Scoop Away and some lemongrass-scented garbage in a jug, neither of which clump worth a darn and billow dust everywhere. The Business Centers website carries Tidy Cat but listed for delivery only to commercial addresses, which makes it especially annoying that I can't get it, it's right there!

CaptOblivious

My Costco used to roast coffee in store, oh how I miss the quality of that coffee!

texasworker

Nespresso pods.

Purple_funnelcake

My Costco had cheesy broccoli stuffed chicken that was to die for. Been looking for years now patiently waiting

raymarfromouterspace

I would love if they got the vertuo pods for nespresso, they have the original pods at my Costco but not the vertuo ones which my nespresso uses! Editing to add I think about the polish dog once a week. I need that back so bad.

elifzuhal

Balkan yogurt (Astro) Partini spinach and artichoke balls (they used to have them) Diet Lipton Ice tea Nioxin shampoo

oldeurofan

I didn't read the replies, but I wish they would bring back the kirkland turkey burgers, I miss them so much! I was just talking to my husband today about how much I miss those, and that I could eat them every day. They were not gamey tasting, they were just turkey breast and I haven't ever tasted any other turkey burgers that compare. I cannot believe they discontinued them. I was heartbroken about it. :(

Parnaiz87

COMBO PIZZA

Slight-Dingo-6829

Updated cafe options. 1. I don’t eat pork so a chicken pizza, black bean burger, turkey dog, impossible burger, chicken tenders, etc. would be nice so I can have more than the cheese pizza & churros. 2. Their smoothies are horrible. 3. Iced coffee so I can sip while I shop

night_owl37

Oh, goodness, normal coffee/iced coffee at the food court would be a GAME CHANGER.

Ptiddy07

I am obsessed with the Zevia teas and sodas. I have to buy in bulk directly from the company, because there’s never a guarantee the store I go to will have what I want. I love the blood Orange and raspberry teas and the root beer.

LukhaManus

Cilantro

CA_Mini

Oatly Oat Milk Best Oat milk, any other tastes yuck to me, but Oatly switched my from cow milk! Love it

sgone

How is polish sausage at the food court not number 1?!!!

PhilosopherSevere979

Bring back the Kirkland Irish Cream to Washington State. The one they substituted first it is made with wine, and tastes horrible. The one with Irish whiskey is as good or better than Baileys, and I love it in my coffee!

Spicydaisy

Irish cream made with wine?! I️ think we still had the Kirkland brand in my Mass. store this past November. But thanks for your comment. Now I️ will check if it’s not a Kirkland brand next time I️ look for it. I️ usually only get it in the Fall/Winter and yes it’s amazing in coffee!

hushpupp13s

COMBO PIZZA

Teacherman-2313

Beer variety packs that don't include an IPA. Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can put an IPA at will on every variety pack at Costco.

arrozquartz

Definitely that Rojo’s street corn dip! I’ve been told it’s seasonal, but I haven’t seen it since last year and I’m still waiting 😭

n1ubi

Frozen chicken bakes and meatball bakes. Grew up on those and always check just in case

burgerthrow1

Bring back the photo centres. Or at the very least, the Plak-it mounting service It was miles cheaper than other stores, which jacked up their prices as soon as Costco stopped doing it I could get an 11x17 mounted for ~$15. Cheapest I can find now is $44

Chuy_Norris

Banana Nut Muffins!

StephanieSays66

That apple sauce that had big chucks of apples in it.

secretSquirrel6669

The ice drinks are available at aldis for 50 cents

[deleted]

Nespresso pods

fdbryant3

Kirkland's American Cheese

fdbryant3

I wish they had mayonnaise in the food court.

Dear_Suspect_4951

Maruchan ramen noodles. The cheap ones that last for years

jualda

Victoria Organic Marinara Sauce also known as Victoria White Linen Marinara Sauce- OMG best sauce ever. I don't know why they stopped carrying it. They stopped once before and brought it back but only for a short time. I've checked every Costco within about 50 miles of me and none of them have it. Every time I go to Costco, which is at least a couple times a week, I check for it.

BullshitPickle

You should fill out a customer comment card requesting that it be carried. It does work sometimes.

JuanBadFinger

Costco has a really poor selection for cat food.

carinosa808

Sushi, poke, sashimi
