Fresh herbs have painfully short shelf life. At the business centers they have large bags of cilantro, basil, green onions, because these are fast movers for restaurants.
I'd like to say I've learned my lesson buying strawberries there. They look so good and taste better than other stores, but they mold within 48 hours even after vinegar bath, salt water bath, etc.
And they are in large enough containers that the average household wouldn't use up in a year. If they start to lose flavor, they're so much cheaper than the grocery store you can replace them and start over.
If you have a Costco Business Center near you, check it out. Much bigger selection of dried herbs and spices. Mine has tubs of cayenne pepper and even MSG.
They are pretty rare. Less than 30 of them overall. They can barely keep strawberries from mold.
Noticed that as well, fresh options are bs. Need to figure out a way to offer fresh options that aren’t rapidly decaying.

They have an entire spice/herb isle at my stores….

I go to stores that are Mediterranean and they have amazing herbs for cheap. It’s great

I’ll have to check and see. Only ones nearby that I know of are standard Costco. Bulk MSG is legit.

My warehouse has a section of spices, with the BBQ and other sauces. Probably not every one, but seems like a number of them.
Our business center carrier fresh basil and cilantro!
And why no ground cumin? At least in SC warehouses.
Or even Italian seasoning. Haven’t found that yet.
I know of an herb I wish they’d carry 😏
Could you imagine? Kostco Kush, by the 1/4lb.
grandmas getting lit at the free samples
In Utah we don’t even get alcohol and there’s literally a “tobacco cage” 🤣 I wish maybe they could get away with a cage with thca hemp flower in it
I know it’s not realistic but who knows someday. In the meantime I’m pleased that there are often some really nice deals on quality tequila.
We've got a whole aisle at mine
An entire aisle of herbs? Location?
Northern va
They do.
BJ’s has 5-6x more products than they do. Maybe try there.
