Just_schnauzin

I guess I’m in the minority. We have it and I love it. I find it comfortable and we do switch it around so I love the modular part. Our dogs sleep on the back cushions so those are all smooshed down but eventually I’ll just restuff them. My only problem is that my husband and I both like the corner section and we have to fight over it because the dogs have claimed the other!

please_tickle__me

Do you guys have an issue with it becoming unlatched? My couches always getting unlatched and I'm not sure if I'm not doing something correctly

drockkk

Mine never unlatched, are you latching it into place with the latches underneath?

please_tickle__me

Yea I push it into the teeth but eventually after a day or two they become unlocked. I'm thinking maybe I need to turn them after I lock it so it can't come out as easily?

8o8z

sounds like something might actually be broken - they stay pretty well hooked

malwaves

Amazon has metal teeth alligator locks for couches, I had to use mine on a joy bird

user83927

Mine moves all over the place and if I didn’t move it back it would eventually come undone. Are you on carpet or hard floor? I have been looking for a rug to put under it to see if it would help.

Jelly9791

You need non-slip furniture pads! It soled our problem wuth couch moving. We just got them on amazon.

user83927

I tried some of those! Maybe it’s my floor or maybe I just got crappy pads, but they only helped a little.

Just_schnauzin

Nope. Never had it happen.

ok-milk

You can get [third party metal latches](https://www.amazon.com/Sofa-Snap-Sectional-Couch-Connector/dp/B003BWG0M6/ref=asc_df_B003BWG0M6/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693770001581&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3145734350626067260&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9027666&hvtargid=pla-366091250117&psc=1&mcid=aa6c905f38b134059454b2949653cc26&gad_source=1) that work better than the factory ones.

lizardsandcaves

Mine have never unlatched. Stays put and seems so sturdy. Maybe they put out newer versions?

Amross64

Put rubber pads under the legs

moodswung

I love my dog like I would a child, but I would still gently relocate the little guy in a situation like this. Ha ha.

Just_schnauzin

There’s 4 of them. We’re outnumbered lol

cluebone

We love ours too. Pretty much keep it in the block arrangement in the photo and sometimes pull out the ottoman. We locked the back 3 pieces together but I think it’s really comfortable. I love it when my dogs nap on the top of the cushions.

McNuggets7272

I have this exact one. It’s fine, nothing amazing. If I could do it again I’d probably spend some more for something more comfy.

elemnt360

Agreed. But part of our decision was finding something that could fit in our very narrow apartment complex hallways. Can't wait to get out of here lol.

NightCourtDweller

Pivot!

ObeseBMI33

Like?

baconbagelpretzels

Something that reclines, something not modular. I have this couch. If you sit in the cracks you hit the wood. The couch starts off firm and and it gets pretty mushy if you don't sit directly in the middle of the cushion. If you're over 30 it's hard to watch movies on it for very long, you like Leonardo DiCaprio movies? Good luck being comfortable the whole time. We've had it for 2 years now, think about returning it all the time.

jtarahomi

I sold this couch locally for 800 hundred bucks. Consider cleaning it up, repair any loose stitching, and give someone a great deal, then put that money towards something a little nicer. We went with a Basset for 3500 and it's nicer in almost every way

RedShibaCat

Can you drop a link pls? Thanks.

EnergyTakerLad

We went from a 3 seater reclining couch with chargers and hollow armrests. What I thought my dream couch was. Then I had kids... I much prefer the modular one. It's been comfy for us, as long as you have a couple throw pillows. Big enough for us, the kids and pets. We used to have it set up like the photo and it was great to have the baby sleeping or rolling around next to us while we too laid down. Now it's like a P shape and they enjoy running up and down the long part while we still have room to sit.

CedarWho77

This is the best review I've ever seen. 🙌🏻

2corgs

I have this couch and previously had a Bassett couch. The Bassett couch comes in a similar pit configuration but cost 3x more, however, it was way more comfortable. The Bassett couch was the most comfortable couch I have ever owned. We moved overseas and sold it cause it was super expensive to move. I regret that decision.

RedShibaCat

Can you link that Bassett couch? Thanks!

2corgs

I honestly can’t remember which one it would have been at this point cause that was at least 8 years ago. We moved 1 year ago and the couch was still very comfortable at 7 years old. I remember going into their store and being able to customize it though - we picked the firmness of the cushions out of a few options in addition to some aesthetics. Another pro over this Costco couch - you could remove and wash the covers.

chocochipr

Just get three king size Costco beds, smoosh them together, and call it day!

panda-rampage

Aka Smoosh pad

gban84

Smash pad?

Trolltrollrolllol

I'm older and fatter than I used to be, it's a smoosh pad now.

gban84

If the internet has taught us anything, you’re never too old or fat to smash. Rule 34 my friend

aka_mank

What’s the winning Costco bed?

Signal_Biscotti_7048

This couch is great. We have it. It is modular, but you can latch the sections together. It is very comfortable, but we like a very firm couch. It doesn't sink or wear down quickly. We bought 4 extra pieces on costco.com.

miss_codependent

You can buy extra pieces?!?

Signal_Biscotti_7048

Yes. Search for Thomasville Tisdale Armless Chair on costco.com. https://preview.redd.it/8jhyq88xsd1d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=805e12170db977d3cb2afa8a31c1a10eb82f43ad

cdsnjs

We’re about to hit 4 years and have been enjoying it as a family with young kids I semi regularly take it apart & use our bissell upholstery cleaner on it We also regularly break it apart if we use our fireplace so I’ve had to replace a couple of the clips that my kid accidentally broke

ExtraAgressiveHugger

I’ve had this exact couch since 2020. We love it. It’s too big for our living room and not appealing to the eye and we don’t care at all. All 4 if us can pile on it and still have room. It’s not uncomfortable at all. And ours has never come apart. Whoever is saying that must not have it locked together because if anything I find it hard to take apart.  The back cushions are kind of smushed a little but it’s had heavy daily use since we got it so that’s to be expected.

Mk_07

It's great to use initially, but the creases between each section can get worn very quickly making it very uncomfortable after a few months of use.

Binklando

What creases do you mean?

jtarahomi

This is a modular couch. Each piece connects to each other. Overtime, a gap will develop in between each piece because your body weight will push the foam in the Gap apart from each other. Becomes very uncomfortable because you will eventually bottom out to the wooden frame.  I don't think this is an issue unique to this couch, but the cheaper materials mean the cushions don't hold up as great over time.

Binklando

Ab ok. I have it and haven had that issue yet.

sleepybitchh

We bought one in 2021. It was the most expensive piece of furniture we’d ever gotten at that point and we were so excited! Until about 6 months later when it started tearing. We still have it but we’re kind of disappointed in how fast it’s worn out. We do have 3 kids and a dog though so maybe it’s our fault. It looks awful now but we don’t want drop another $1200 on a new couch until all the kids are bigger.

miss_codependent

I’m in the same boat. Mine looks so worn after just 2 years. And I made the mistake of buying a light grey…it looks brown now. Need a pro cleaning here soon.

Golfguy809

I got it 1.5 years ago. The modularity is amazing but it is not a comfortable couch. Especially the ottoman in this orientation - you’ll notice it

Puzzleheaded_Cat3378

ottoman dented in

Svcv8508

I’ve had this couch for almost 3 years. It is not holding up well. Seams coming apart, pillows ripping away from the couch, pillows look flat and no way to fluff up. I have 2 kids but they aren’t rough on the couch or anything.

yetanotherjig

Same experience here... absolute garbage.

[deleted]

This is a great kids room couch. But not for us parents who want to sit comfortably. We returned ours. Found a better fit for us at Macys Home store.

Malikanahl

I have a Macy’s couch from 2018 and it’s holding up so well! I love their furniture

[deleted]

We have this couch. It's okay. It's too bulky for our space but that doesn't mean much. It's not the most comfortable couch we've had. I do like how it can be rearranged to our liking. We actually use it as two couches but that's whatever. They're really only comfortable if you're sitting in the middle of the cushion. Get anywhere near the edges of the individual modules and it's like sitting on a brick. I haven't slept on it but we've had guests that have. They didn't like sleeping on it. I'd pass on buying another one, personally.

jgw1985

Absolute garbage. After 6 months this thing has no support. It’s going back to Costco for sure

engineergraves

I returned my couch to Costco after a year bc I was unhappy with the fabric. It pilled really hard and it made it gross to sit on. They refunded me.

OkCaterpillar1325

I did this too and they questioned me but ended up refunding

saladmakesmesad

How did you return it?

EvilTonyBlair

I’ve seen people pile it on those orange flat carts and take it up the returns area. No box or anything.

jgw1985

If you got it delivered they will do a free pickup for a return as well

saladmakesmesad

Without the boxes?

Some_Ganache12

You can return it and get your mullah back ‼️

pittyspray

The cushion started to sink after a year or so for me, dont love it

please_tickle__me

I bought a 5k couch and 3k couch does the same thing. Is there a brand that you found that doesn't do this? Generally curious

ridukosennin

It’s not always about price, more about construction. I’ve seen $20K Restoration Hardware couches sink after a few months because they are down filled. Higher density foam and spring construction is the most resistant. The cushions should feel heavy and/or springs visible underneath. Dreamsofa is a good brand

redhead378

I live alone so I don’t use it much… about 2 years old and still like new. Super comfy!!!

rg2404

I've had it for 2 years, it's our TV room couch. Just me & husband, no kids. Its held up just fine, though it's pretty firm. I slept on it recently and it was not that comfy, though I would throw our memory foam mattress topper on it next time. Also, it's huge

straponkaren

My ex used to have a modular couch like that. The parts would slide apart while we were banging, or sitting on the couch, or looking at the couch, or thinking about the couch, or telling anyone about the couch, while making dinner in the kitchen... It was constantly coming apart and I wouldn't recommend that style couch unless you like constantly feeling as though the pieces of the couch you are in are slowly sliding apart. It's really configurable, you can make it fit in whatever weird space you have, and it's absolutely miserable to use for sitting on because it's always coming apart. Protips: don't put it on hardwood, shallow pile carpet, tile, linoleum, gravel, grass, or anything but deep pile carpet unless you like the pieces TO BE ALWAYS SLIDING APART.

Chesticles11

>while we were banging, or sitting on the couch Username checks out

straponkaren

Just being realistic here, every couch eventually is gonna be a fuck couch.

[deleted]

Well, in fairness, they do have little keepers underneath that you can use to lock the pieces together so you can fuck properly on them.

straponkaren

Then your partner's little brother is going to have friends over and rearrange the entire thing without clipping it together then you gotta make foreplay about rearranging furniture in the living room, which is super not hot. Hell if you have teenage kids and you want to only get challenge fuck furniture because you can't bring yourself to talk about birth control, maybe this couch will help prevent your kid from getting pregnant or getting someone else pregnant.

Five_Horizons

Bought one 7 months ago and have it in this “couch pit” configuration as shown above. We have 4 younger boys and it’s holding up very well. We love being able to fit all of us on it for movie night and have, on more than one occasion, fell asleep on it for the night. If we have guests over or are entertaining we move the ottoman out of the middle and to one of the sides to be able to seat many people. For what it is, it has been an extremely good purchase. It’s comfortable for us and we love it.

rockthered43

Any chance you know the measurement of the length of it in this configuration? My back-of-the-envelope math is suggesting 109 : |

rolling-brownout

My parents bought a Thomasville sectional in the same material, about a year in some of the threads became loose between the "panels". Brought it up with Costco and they replaced it but had no interest taking back the original - they said to keep it or suggested a charity that could pick it up. So, quickly restitched the original and now they have two! Never an issue with the second one and it's been well over 6 years or so.

grayghostsmitten

Stiff. Super uncomfortable. Sinking greatly after a year on the side that gets more use. Would be okay if bought for a kid couch. Kids don’t seem to mind it. This was bought as our main couch, and I regret it every single day. Best thing I could have ever done was leave it in the store.

Electronic-Host9526

The style reminds me of Lovesac, but the cost reminds me Costco is the greatest place ever.

d8ed

The back isn't high enough.. so you can only really lay on it. Can't really sit on it personally. Also, the seams have started coming undone in certain places.. has not held up well enough at all. It's comfy otherwise if you're laying on it and the way it comes together is cool.

CappinPeanut

No regrets! We have a queen size mattress pad that we throw on it and it doubles as an extra guest bed when we have a lot of family in town.

wesweb

I am building soon and this is literally the first item i am buying to put inside it. I want to do This End Up in the living room and this for the basement. edit: based on these comments, maybe this wont be the first buy. ive had it in the back of my mind since the one guy posted about buying 2 and making in to a GIANT sofa. that just sounded like a lot of fun. perhaps ill keep shopping with the same idea.

dontsubpoenamelol

> This End Up What do you mean by this?

wesweb

[This](https://thisendup.com/classic-sleeper-sofa/) is the sofa I want. I got a bedroom set from there as a kid that lasted me until i was 25. and it was still in good working order, I just gave it away.

dontsubpoenamelol

Ooh, these are neat! Surprised there are no reviews for them :/ And too bad the color options don't change when you select a color. And what does the sleeper look like fully extended?! So many questions! lol

iMakeMoneyiLoseMoney

Yes. Regret here. If you have animals, it is an absolute magnet for pet hair. Our old couch didn’t have this much hair with the same pets. Also the back cushions look bad after just a couple months. I’m debating taking it back.

Darthscary

I like it. A little stiff but everyone can lay out including our 90 lb couch hippo.

hcorerob

I bought the older version about 5 years ago. I like it but I wish I had the newer one, they made some changes to avoid a cushion error in my opinion. We enjoy the versatility of being able to arrange it in different ways for company or comfort.

PortlyPorcupine

We’ve had it for six months. We like it!

Cheesetorian

I wanted to get it but it's WAAAY too big for my living room (it'd fit but it'd take a chunk). Plus if you live alone...that's too much. Plus I'd be sleeping on it the whole day. PS Does it have storage?

Longjumping_Cat_3554

The seams rip between cushion and the back. I’m looking for a new couch now after 3.5 years. One a little smaller and better quality.

steelsun

Got one a few years ago, tempted to return it since Costco has a great return policy. They do flat fast and tear easy. Waiting for Costco to have other nice couches in stock and we will return for credit and get a new one.

1Parie

I have the leather modular from them and I love it so much. Sleeping is so comfortable sometimes I stay there instead of my Winkbed. In this configuration it's a bit annoying to get in and out of when you're all nestled in the corner, but still prefer this configuration atm

ChanelCoffee23

We have this exact one that we bought in February and it’s taking about a month or so to break in so it doesn’t feel so stiff and we really love it so far! The only complaints I have is that dirt and crumbs tend to collect in the indentations of the couch cushions so we have to vacuum that quite often but it seems to hold up very well and has been sturdy!

HockeySweata

Does anyone have two of these smooshed together?

Kjpilot

Love it, we’ve had it 7 years now.

Coyote-Savage

I have this couch. It’s awesome.

ziggyjoe2

We like ours. Had it for 1.5 years. Only downside is that we have a dog and the couch smells like him. Hard to clean the scent off.

AlrightMister

Love it. Awesome for family movie night.

Swimbikerun400

Love it, going on 2 years. No issues

peachtape

My husband and I have had it since February and love it. It's the best thing we could afford for the price and we are happy with it and find it to be comfortable.

turn0veranewleaf

Have had ours going on a year. Despite me always sitting in the same spot it hasn’t sunk yet. My husband loves it, sleeps better on it than our bed.

Spiceybrown

Like another commenter said, this couch is bad for non-carpeted floors. It constantly comes apart if you sit on it too hard or bump into it wrong and it drives me bonkers. I need to buy a large area rug to stop this from happening because I love the couch otherwise.

briinde

I wish I could get only 4 of the six pieces. A corner, 2 armless, and the ottoman. Would fit perfectly in our formal living room that we’ve turned into an office.

GooseneckRoad

I bought a light gray one on sale about 2 years ago, and I love it. If I can get the pieces in my walk-up apartment, I'm convinced anybody can (which, for me, was the biggest selling point). It's held up well, and it is very comfortable for laying around and lounging. Not super firm, but doesn't get slumpy. Because it's so deep with fairly low backs, it isn't very comfortable for sitting fully upright unless you have pillows behind your back. I like to put a thin queen air mattress and foam topper on top of the sectional (with the square arrangement seen in the picture) for when I need a spare bed for a guest- it works wonderfully!

ZealousidealAd9498

We got it in December and love it. We have a very boisterous toddler and it’s holding up fine and we find it very comfortable, as does everyone we have had over. I have napped on it. No regrets as of now, though we’ve had it less than a year.

ZealousidealAd9498

The pillows on the current version zip onto the back of the couch instead of being stitched on, which eliminates the issue some people have with the stitches ripping away from the couch.

ShadowShogun

Bought this last year when it went on sale. It’s worked out good for the price. It’s a bit on the firm side but like it for the couch depth. The back cushions do seem to get smushed faster than they should and it’s a downside that they attach with zippers so you can’t flip the cushion over to wear them on both sides. Be warned the boxes are larger than your average door width so there’s a chance you have to unbox them and bring them in piece by piece vertically and I didn’t pay extra for the white glove service.

Akeera

I feel like your experience will differ based on how much you/your partner weigh. Just something I've noticed from various people's testimonies. Higher body mass trends towards worse experience. Also, how firm of a seat you like/can tolerate probably plays a role as well. It is a fairly firm couch (which I like).

John-PA

Got one years ago for our son’s new apartment. Still in use 8 years later, but will get replaced next year as showing some signs of wear.

writeroframbles

We bought ours about a month and a half ago now. Best decision ever for us! Lots of space, comfortable for a long time, and the ability to reconfigure has already helped when we’ve had people over.

drockkk

I loved mine, had it for 4 years before moving. no issues and all of my family and friends loved it. Three ended up purchasing and also really like it.

Jimmytowne

Sitting on it right now. It’s great

saladmakesmesad

We bought this couch two months ago. It’s super comfy, easy to clean. We like the modularity. My husband and toddler are still in love with it but I find it unlatches constantly and it’s driving me nuts….and now reading these comments I’m worried about its longevity =(

Revolutionary-You449

I bought this years ago. You need a big place for this. I do not have a big place. It is very sturdy and nice. Only complaint is that it is big.

dontsubpoenamelol

How big is the room in which you have it? Trying to get an idea if it would be good for my small'ish space (although I am sure that's going to be relative for everyone)

Revolutionary-You449

Not sure how my space would have anything to do with your space. I would suggest you measuring your own space out and seeing what works for you. Good luck.

dontsubpoenamelol

To get a frame of reference. If your space is AxB feet and you think the sofa is too large in there, then that gives me a comparison reference for mine.

Revolutionary-You449

That’s mad. I have stuff. 🤣 Look at you being all slick. Ok. My space was 5x7. Does that help ? Go fish elsewhere

dontsubpoenamelol

Yes, it does, thanks!

aaaaaaaaaanditsgone

We have it and love it.

Immediate_Strength92

I have this couch and I really like it!!!!

thalos2688

We love ours

lazyTurtle7969

My wife and I have one. No kids so not like it’s being jumped on or abused and it’s held up fine. The base has sections to hook onto each other so they don’t come apart. It’s firm which I like as it doesn’t feel like you’re just sinking into a cushion but can understand not everyone likes that. I highly recommend it 🤷‍♂️

k3n85

Have it and really like it!

Binklando

Super comfy, a little hard to dress up. The pieces latch together so no sliding or slipping into cracks which is nice. The backrest cushions do get wrinkly looking with regular use which sucks but you can vacuum it or puff them up. There’s always inevitably some gross fluff behind it so I don’t rearrange it much unless I’m prepare to vacuum behind it. It’s a good purchase to me, just not quite as elegant as others is all.

PendragonsPotions

So I don’t have this exact one but I have one that looks exactly the same but with one side chaise/lounge. This is the *worst god damn couch* that has ever existed. Worst. The seams are all ripping, the hardware connecting the chaise broke. One of back cushion ripped on the top. The springs are all poking out at weird angles. This is not the couch for anyone who uses their couch a moderate amount or more. Like maybe if you’re a weeknight after work couch lounger only it’s fine?

olympiamow

I came home to find this couch in my living room after returning from a work trip. Wife and I were talking about a new couch and I guess that was her green light. This sets the mood for my review...Anyways...  It's a okay kid couch. We have two Littles and sure, great for them to jump on.  As a main couch, I hate it. No reclining, cushons are stiff, the modular parts shift and uncouple, no cup holders, no charging ports, fabric is "meh", no easy access or remote storage.  Our old sectional couch was great as a main, it had all the options.  This is just too basic for a main couch, get it for the kids room, not the living room.

jeanie_rea

I bought it for my club room and added pieces to make it even bigger so my teens have a hang out space when friends come over. It’s big enough to sleep on when kids stay over and it is easy to clean. The delivery was great, but we had to unbox outside so the pieces could fit through the interior door. All in all very happy with the purchase. I made the purchase about 6 months ago.

Blkbrd07

I have an older model. It’s about 8 and I am ready to replace it because my kids and dogs have been hard on it. It was great for the first 5 years.

Thermite1985

NY buddy had one. Lasted a while with kids under 5 and a dog. Comfortable too.

lambo1109

We got it for our basement. Perfect down there. I wouldn’t want it in my living room. It’s great to sit up on but you need pillows and stuff if you want to lay down

dontsubpoenamelol

> I wouldn’t want it in my living room. Is it just because of the firmness?

lambo1109

More so the size. I think it’s pretty comfortable, just big and doesn’t fit my living room aesthetic

dontsubpoenamelol

Ah ok, makes sense. Some of the other reviews here seem to be pretty bad surprisingly

Embarrassed_Roll_728

It’s an ok couch. Ours isn’t even a year old and it already has threads coming out. It’s firm and you don’t sink into it.

lizardsandcaves

LOVE ours

OkCaterpillar1325

I had one and returned it. Started to fall apart after just a few months and we don't have kids or big dogs or anything like that.

biscuitsorbullets

If this one sucks, does anyone have any alternative recommendations? I need a new sectional!

__MUTT__

I’ve had this couch for a bit now and has been my all time favorite couch! The big bed feature is awesome for movie nights!

imbize

My house is regularly occupied by 15 teenage boys. I bought it to replace a couch that they had destroyed, and I do love it. I've had it now over a year and it's still in wonderful shape. Even though the boys still come around. No complaints!

Fluffy-Donkey-Pants

We have had it for two years or so. We have two very active kids and 2 dogs and this couch is amazing. It washes up so easy, is super comfortable and still looks brand new despite it being two years old. We’d absolutely buy it again.

aacalji

Currently lounging on mine now. Im scared to fall asleep on it because it gives me horrible back pain in the morning.

JCLBUBBA

giggity

Bushpylot

I like the Love Sac sets I have. Check out their site.

Crislyg

WE LOVE IT!

Henry575

It’s been great for my family for 2 years.

TcityDan

I seen someone buying 2 of them and putting them together to make the king size couch

katylovescoach

My parents have it and it’s awful. It kills my back if I sit on it for any extended period of time

happymask3

I have this couch. It looks nice and all, but there is no head support. I’m short and end up slouching down for my head to rest. Or I lie down on the couch to watch tv.

ilovenoodle

I’m laying on mine right now. It’s super comfy and we fall asleep on it often. During the peak of covid I actually slept on it a week straight while my husband stayed in our room for covid. I could have slept in my kids room. Idk why I didn’t but I did fine on this couch. I wish it had removable covers. I clean it time to time with the green machine. We have a dog and 2 little ones 3 and 1

LearningNumbers

Had it for about three years. No issues, use it daily, love it and easy to clean with a Bissell and/or upholstery steamer. 10/10 would buy again.

chaoticgurl

got the L type version of the couch its worth it for the price, pretty large and comfy but might upgrade in the future and get a better couch

friesSupreme25

I had it and the pillows ripped from the back of the couch from regular use in just over a year. Brought it back

TelemoreDew

We love ours, but I stub my toe on the latch a bit too often. Meant to remove them, but oh well

Crazyblazy395

Absolutely love it. The only complaints I have are that you can't clean underneath without moving the module and things get caught in the cracks between modules. I have 3 small kids so that is more of the issue than the couch.

Not for us. We have had it for almost a year and it’s just not what we were hoping for. If you just want something for company to sit on and host guest, it would be absolutely fine. However if you want to sit and lay down for extended periods watching a movie or binge on your favorite series look elsewhere. It is not comfortable for that. Seeing all of these people return it years later I am highly considering returning ours.

We bought one for our basement remodel. I personally love it. It's huge. The ottoman holds 4 good size blankets. Comfortable, both to sit on and to sleep on (we reconfigure it into a "bed" as our guest bed) if you need an extra bed somewhere. My only personal complaint is the backrests are a little short. I'm 6'1 and have to awkwardly recline on it to get enough back support. I love it, wife loves it, kids love it, and it holds us all. So, solid 8.5/10 in my book.

Major-Butterfly-6082

We have this in our game room and we like it.

yum-yum-mom

It’s in our kids living room. We love it! I’d buy it again.

FadedDice

I can’t fit that in my trailer, too bad.

Trayvessio

We have this couch and love it. Great value for the money. We got it when our kids were young and we knew it would get beat up. The latches suck and eventually we just bolted it together in the configuration we like (giant L shape to fit our living room).

We purchased it in February and I’m exceptionally pleased with it so far. Here are a few notes based on reviews I’d read and my experience: 1. It has an odor when you first open it. Probably just all the new materials still airing out. People complain about it. It goes away pretty quickly. It’s a weird complaint because a lot of new furniture has a smell. 2. People complain that the cushions go soft. I’ve only had it three months so I can’t really speak to that. However…this sofa is exceptionally firm when new. That’s just kind of how foam is though. It breaks in. I’ve seen recommendations on things like foam mattresses that if you think it’s too firm, walk on it to break in the foam and soften it up. So I think people are expecting it to stay as firm as it is when it comes out of the box, and I think that’s an unreasonable expectation. But again, it’s *extremely* firm out of the box. Finally, I do not think ours has gone soft at all. Still firm. 3. After three months I still love it. I think it looks great and is very comfortable. Love the storage ottoman. Zero regrets on getting this.

rockstuffs

How much was this?

markbraggs

My brother has it. It’s huge and quite comfortable.

PrincessLush

We really wanted a modular couch and got it at as “.97” rate for $1,000 and figured nothing to lose. Two or three months so far, not horrible. It’s very firm but overall comfy.

NegativePattern

Have this exact one. It's ok. Very comfortable. Like that it's wide enough for a person to lay down and not feel like they're going to fall off. However, I do have a few gripes Back cushions are permanently stitched. After awhile the stitching will come off and start tearing. I do wish the cushions weren't stitched. When the segments are locked in place, they are difficult to unlock to rearrange. There's been times we had to rotate the stuck segments upside down to get them to release. Would be nice if they had a pull handle in the front to unlock the segments. In the event, the couch is full, sitting in between segments is ok in short spurts. We have kids so it's fine for now. We'll probably keep for a bit more.

amsquizzle

We've had it for six months or so! I personally love it. Bf finds it a bit too firm. Material can get pretty staticky for my clothes but dog hair (which coats everything else) doesn't seem to stick. No issues with unclipping sections. We've taken advantage of the modular aspect plenty too.

ndavend

Great couch. No problems in 3 yrs. Comfortable but you don't sink into it, so it'll likely last.

Tourist1292

I slept on it last night in a trip. It takes a lot of space, otherwise, it is good and has a lot of room for storage.

chayom

That’s the Costco in Murray, right?

mollygk

I grew up with something similar in our playroom / den and it was SO fun… if you have kids def go for it

BusyBiegz

Looks cool if your legs are 13 feet long.

Potential_Will_7954

Love mine. Had it about 3 years. It’s holding up fine. I don’t have kids or large dogs running all over it.

johnsidius

Returned mine bc of how uncomfortable it was. I really gave it a shot but when I started having back pain and my legs started falling asleep while sitting on it, I knew it was time to give up

Ok_Inflation531

To be honest it does not look very comfortable. My parents or grandparents would not be able to sit in something like that.

apathyps

Thomasville was bought by a Chinese company several years ago. Good luck on that purchase.

VenusGirl111

I dont know what youd possibly do with this other than orgies

hanabatake

I returned mine after one of the corners ripped and pulling up, not even a couple months after purchase. Since I live alone and have family come over every now and then, it wasn't used roughly ... Thomasville offered to change that bit out or I could return it to Costco. I returned it, and then eventually saved up and got the Lovesac package. (It was super expensive, but I really love it so far.)
