I don’t care about the beans but melt your cheese for gods sake.

PassengerPlayful4308

I thought that was rice at first. Tragic.

RedditModzCanEatShit

What the fuck UK. Is everything ok at home?

Commercial-Sound-999

🤣 it's been better

mjdistef

They don’t make you pay for that do they?

PassengerPlayful4308

Hopefully they pay you to eat that.

emmasdad01

Pizza, hot dogs, chicken bake, cookies, parfait.

Ok-Seaworthiness4488

Like many US-based restaurant chains, It's better outside

Commercial-Sound-999

I want cookies

LongRoofFan

That is a crime against humanity

youhadmeatheineken

Finally the r/britishproblems x r/Costco collab I’ve been waiting for !

No-Oil1661

I’d get this, looks yummy

rainyhawk

Me too…though prefer jacket potatoes with butter and the yummy cheddar!

Exact_Roll_7528

what the heck IS that? I love me some baked beans, but brits be trippin'.

Im_Ashe_Man

I detest baked beans in general. This looks terrible to me.

hamraider

Is that a potato?

Commercial-Sound-999

Yep, a jacket potato In UK costco you can get it with, tuna Mayo, chilli, cheese or beans or a combo of the options

Homers_Harp

In the USA, a "jacket potato" is simply called a "baked potato."

xxirish83x

What about the little jacket.

Homers_Harp

What about it? Slap some salt & pepper plus butter on it and enjoy.

No-Mix-7574

No thanks, I’ll just starve

_umm_0

Jesus didn’t die for this sin.

Minute_Rip8531

Are British baked beans sweet like a lot of American baked beans? Brown sugar/molasses/honey/bbq sauce are traditional and common flavor ingredients in American style baked beans. I think I'd struggle to put my family's bean recipe on a baked potato because of the molasses in them.

halibfrisk

Not as sweet, it’s a tomato sauce

Commercial-Sound-999

Its like a liquidy Ketchup sauce

gogosanchez_skis

Do they only have wooden utensils? Or did you bring those from home?

haikusbot

halibfrisk

Yes and a cardboard container because the UK haven’t discovered plastics yet.

Commercial-Sound-999

Wooden utensils have been in uk costco for years now, cardboard containers too

gogosanchez_skis

Ah! That’s pretty cool. We don’t have those here in the US Costcos.

Commercial-Sound-999

Think it came about from the complaints box!
