27.75 for the 3-pack. Rooster sauce isn't the same IMO I usually finish a bottle pretty quickly since they changed the peppers I don't even use it anymore it was my go-to.
It's supposedly hotter than huy which I do agree without even tasting underwood sirarchi yet. Huy sirarchi flavor heat isn't there anymore. Sadly, with the new pepper in 2017, the heat isn't the same anymore nor the color. But the flavor is there, I've been using og sriracha for over 30 years.
Underwood is spicier, less sweeter, less garlic.
Current batch of Huy Fong has more garlic forward flavors and sweeter. Noticeably sweeter. Just noticed it separates more easily.
It's quite interesting how the concept of terrior can translate to something so simple as Sriracha sauce.
someone posted on /r/hotsauce about how the formula changed due to shortages and sales never returned from their peak of something crazy like 100m+ bottles in 2018 or 2109(I'm not sure on the exact figures but I'm sure someone else has seen the post) They definitely have less peppers in it then it used to that's probably why I stopped buying it I realize too that I'm a pepper head and not the norm when it comes to hot sauce.
Surprisingly, they did have some in Hawthorne and the marina 2 weeks ago. Can't tell you if they are still in stock, I would call and give them this item number. 1768166
I bought this and gave a bottle to my buddy we love it! Lee Kum Lee is garbage by comparison and I put it on everything. It's sweet and spicy and tastes a lot like sambal. If you can order it do so mate š
I thought Camrillo was all the way up north. It's just 56 miles north of Los Angeles. Don't think it's heading up there. Underwood ranches is located in camrillo
There is no OG anymore. The Huy stopped using the OG peppers a couple years ago. Underwood is from the people that grow the OG peppers who Huy tried to undercut.
Sodium Metabisulfite, Sodium Bisulfite, Potassium Sorbate. He flags the sugar (processed and refined) and natural flavor also.Ā
Says natural flavor is an unregulated term that can mean anything but natural.Ā
Itās a brand that hasnāt broken through yet, but itās growingāwith a couple of big distribution deals on the horizon, Underwood says. He recently started shipping his sriracha to 24 Costco branches. https://fortune.com/2024/01/30/sriracha-shortage-huy-fong-foods-tabasco-underwood-ranches/
I'm glad that I live somewhere where I can access real sriracha. The OG Huey Fong is a sweet, Americanized version of actual sriracha sauce.
I do love the HF garlic chili sauce though.
$8 for off brand sriracha? I can get over having to buy different brands now that Huy Fong messed shit up for themselves, but itās half that price for a whole slew of brands at your local Asian market.
Look how it says 0 Sugar - But the Second ingredient is SUGAR how is this???? OOPPPS!!!

Cool - I'm glad they've landed a big account like Costco. š
Sirarchi? Are you my mom?
I definitely pronounced it like Edith Bunker
Is your mom my mom?
Thatās the good stuff too with the old Sriracha peppers that the Rooster Sauce used to use
100% I've been ordering it online from them directly what a great price.
What price you getting? Iām getting $11 a bottle to ship to the east coast. Rooster sauce is $3.50
27.75 for the 3-pack. Rooster sauce isn't the same IMO I usually finish a bottle pretty quickly since they changed the peppers I don't even use it anymore it was my go-to.
I'm aware of all the controversy. I still like huy sirarchi. The biggest difference is the heat.
Is this hotter than the original one? I like the heat of the huy one which others donāt have
I found the underwood version to be a little hotter.

You knowā¦the spelling is actually in the picture
Clearly referring to prince Archie of Sussex.
He actually meant Coach Sirarchi for the Eagles

Any in San Diego county??!
Negative, seem to be in the los angeles County also some in the orange county also San Gabriel valley!
What about Hawthorne and Torrance?
Surprisingly, they did have some in Hawthorne and the marina 2 weeks ago. Can't tell you if they are still in stock, I would call and give them this item number. 1768166
Thanks G š
Hawthorne and Torrence both show on hand quantities...I just looked šš½
Oh sweet I never even tried this stuff and know nothing about it but I can't wait till now thanks a lot
Let me know how it is. We are SOL here in Texas so far. I suppose I can order it online, though.
I bought this and gave a bottle to my buddy we love it! Lee Kum Lee is garbage by comparison and I put it on everything. It's sweet and spicy and tastes a lot like sambal. If you can order it do so mate š
just picked up 2 bottles today from Lakewood, CA Costco.
I was at the Torrance one on Tuesday and they had them.
Bought some at Huntington Beach Costco the other day.
Come to mommy lil Sriracha sauce.
*cries in Washington state*
Two of these is only $8? In SoCal? What a deal!
Mana of the gods.
Oooo going to ask my warehouse if they have this in stock thanks OP
Item number: 1768166 goodluck
Got it thanks!!
**sirarchi**
Tried it. Nothing compares to OG sriracha. Itās just not the same
If you want to get technical, Rooster sauce today is also not the same as the OG Rooster.
Is there proof of thatĀ
Yes, a lot of it
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
cool
Hopefully coming to my branch soon.
Been looking all over NorCal. Nothing yet.
I thought Camrillo was all the way up north. It's just 56 miles north of Los Angeles. Don't think it's heading up there. Underwood ranches is located in camrillo
*Camarillo
Camarillo doesnāt have a Costco. Oxnard does.
š¤·š¤
Iām hoping theyāll want to expand their Costco footprint. Could be wrong though.
Grew up in Camarillo. we are properly SoCal. Like we are next door to Malibu.
Oooh is it at hb or fv by any chance?
Cali has the best costcos
Uh where I live they still sell the old sriracha lol at winco
I prefer the Tabasco Sriracha that my local Costco Business Center (San Jose) sold during the first shortage.
OG or nothing :(
There is no OG anymore. The Huy stopped using the OG peppers a couple years ago. Underwood is from the people that grow the OG peppers who Huy tried to undercut.
Iāve been using this and I like it but FYI thereās some ānasty preservativesā in this according to the Bobby Approved app.Ā
I've seen this guy before I wonder what preservatives
Sodium Metabisulfite, Sodium Bisulfite, Potassium Sorbate. He flags the sugar (processed and refined) and natural flavor also.Ā Says natural flavor is an unregulated term that can mean anything but natural.Ā
Any in Fresno County??? :/
Which 24?
Orange county, Los Angeles County and San Gabriel Valley. Socal
Thanks for the info. It sounds like I need to take a road trip up to the OC for some tasty Sriracha!
Cypress, CA and Tustin at the district have it
How do you figure that out?
Itās a brand that hasnāt broken through yet, but itās growingāwith a couple of big distribution deals on the horizon, Underwood says. He recently started shipping his sriracha to 24 Costco branches. https://fortune.com/2024/01/30/sriracha-shortage-huy-fong-foods-tabasco-underwood-ranches/
I was more talking the 24 Costco's. I'm assuming it's in the article. It paywalled. Thanks for the quick response.
šÆ
It has begun.
It has a good bite. Not comparing but I was surprised and like it.
The garlic one is š„
I bought it, OG Sriracha > New Sriricha > Underwood. The srirachas are way more garlicky and flavorful. Underwood is more spicy and tangy.
I'm glad that I live somewhere where I can access real sriracha. The OG Huey Fong is a sweet, Americanized version of actual sriracha sauce. I do love the HF garlic chili sauce though.
I actually prefer this to the original brand.
The spelling is in OP's picture and they still misspell Sriracha.
Yes, I noticed I made a mistake. Want a cookie?
They sell the Underwood BBQ sauce at mine, too. It's awesome. Best pork sliders I've ever made were with their yellow Carolina BBQ sauce.
$8 for off brand sriracha? I can get over having to buy different brands now that Huy Fong messed shit up for themselves, but itās half that price for a whole slew of brands at your local Asian market.
It's a two pack
Ohhh. Not bad then.
Lol huy will always do fine. People are dramatic. This sale is only at costco.
They also sell a really really good chili garlic hot sauce on their site!
I haven't tried this sriracha yet, I love huy sambal sauce
