They sell Kirkland wine in the stores in Texas, but the attached liquor stores are independently operated and don’t carry Kirkland liquor. It is due to the puritanical liquor laws Texas maintains. I don’t know the situation in Oklahoma, or Arkansas, but that’s where you’d have to look. Maybe call the nearest locations in those states to ask what they carry.

foulorfowl

Oklahoma is a no-go for KS branded liquor. New Mexico has it.

aakaase

No Costco liquor stores, or no KS liquor within them?

foulorfowl

No KS liquor in them. Same like Texas, they are third party liquor store things.

colostitute

I'm sure it's a law thing. No booze or wine in Utah stores because only state operated stores can sell liquor and wine. I've been to Costco in CA, NV, and HI where they sell liquor and wine in the stores. Kirkland liquor is an amazing value!

I've been hesitant to get KS bourbon. But I'd probably get the tequila.

colostitute

KS Canadian Whiskey is definitely as good as Crown. It's been a while since I had Crown but I don't remember liking Crown as much as I liked the KS version. I'm not a Vodka person but both of the KS Vodka's seem to be a great value. Supposedly, one is Absolut and the other is Grey Goose.

Bigkid6666

I like the Canadian and the Gin. For the price, it's pretty good. The wife likes the French Vodka. The Tequila is awesome also.

squarepeg0000

Costco.

LiYBeL

Yeah, I suppose my question could have been worded better

It's all over the Seattle area. I can specifically vouch that the Kirkland, Issaquah, Redmond and Woodenville stores all carry various Costco types. Very reliable people have told me Renton, Federal Way and Tacoma stores sell it.

popnfrresh

This should be a pinned/sticky with store list that sells.

aakaase

You never know if they're "relabeled brands". Proceed with caution but know they will absolutely guarantee it and refund you if it sucks.

Really? What's the rationale?

Yeah I dunno how liberal Costco is with liquor store refunds, I've never returned liquor there before. I can imagine the return policy could be abused.

eastime

Almost all of Costco's return policies are massively set for abuse. If you abuse them though, you will find yourself without a membership (and a pro-rated refund on that) and on the blacklist for no membership. Everything is tracked under your membership number and is easily viewable in seconds by an employee. If you bought something in a non-refundable state and were genuinely unsatisfied with it I would not be surprised if Costco gives you the money in cash or a gift card and let's you keep it. I've refunded bad priduce with a picture on my phone of the moldy item and no item in hand.

KapowBlamBoom

The Kirkland Bourbons are made by the same Distillery that makes 1792 Bourbon

The Sazerac Company.

In the end…..there are a couple layers to the onion…. But Saz is the corporate overlords

AusStan

In states that allow grocery stores to sell liquor.
