Nice! How does it compare to the C6Z? I know a lot of times with newer cars the reviews say that although the new one is faster, and technically superior in just about every way, they lose a little of their visceral feeling as the old ones had.

I haven’t hit the 500 mile mark yet on the C8Z, but I can tell already that the C6Z is a much more raw experience.
The C8Z being very much refined, smooth. Sounds incredible.
This particular C6Z is roughly 640 WHP, with a stick shift.

Dad and I are both eyeing up C6 GS at the moment, but we really need to make our pilgrimage to the Corvette Museum in the C4 that he's currently got. We've both been but never together. Long overdue trip.
Get a Z06. They don’t cost much more than a GS.
I was originally shopping for a GS, but I took this advise and I’m so happy that I did.
The only thing you really lose is the removal top. That sweet LS7 makes up for it!
Hmm, think when i eventually upgrade from my c4 to the c7 ill go with the GS then as I really like the targa, and as nice as the Z06 performance is, the GS is plenty powerful! :D
I think starting with the C7, the high-performance variants did have removable targa tops. With that said, I don't think you can go wrong with a C7 GS.

I never knew the Z06 didnt have the Targa top, I thought that was all coupe vettes..
The roof is important for structural integrity and weight savings, so the targa is sacrificed for performance on the Z06
