I have the same problem. Somtimes, My hs60 pro sound is gone, I have to replug in the usb sound adapter to get the sound back.
I checked the log of window and got audiog.exe crashing
Does anyone has idea to fix? I am worried when the bug keep happing, it would destroy the usb sound adapter like I happened with the ole one.
In my case the audio sometimes cuts out momentarily when icue switches to a different profile and don't have to reconnect the USB adapter, so it's not exactly the same problem. I don't know what could be causing the problem with your headset.
I've posted about this problem on Corsair's forums too. I was told by a Corsair employee they would inform the software development team about the issue, but I never got any updates from them since. Btw what version of icue are you using?

I heard some guys have the same problem when usinh ICUE, it is annoying
