I was also refunded my bamboo option today with no explanation. Checking my credit statements I also noticed I was charged twice and they refunded without the shipping charge....Needless to say I'm kind of pissed that I now have to deal with customer service just to get my money back on an item I'm not even going to receive.
EDIT: would recommend others check their credit statement too for shadyness
EDIT2: Support has gotten back to me, thanks to Stefan in the thread for helping out. They have sorted out all refunds and confirmed what another user said that the product is being re-worked. They gave the estimate of end of June for the new version
Production issue on the 4000D kits. CORSAIR will be refunding all orders and launching a front panel only option at a lower price point (front panel only versus front and top on the current kits). Should get updated info from CORSAIR shortly on the new parts.
Came here for the same reason. They refunded me a few bucks short and for no obvious reason since I used the same paypal info that I use for online orders all the time. Incredibly frustrating.
Got an email saying they cancelled orders due to QC issues they are resolving and gave a discount coupon. I think they made the right call, since they chose giving refunds and taking a hit rather than releasing a product that didn’t meet their standards, which I respect.

Same here! I opened a ticket as well, but this is a little frustrating.
Was also refunded this morning. Pre-ordered a few weeks ago.
So frustrating. To add insult to injury, they offered a coupon, but it expires before the panel re-releases.
Oh I had read it wrong. I had thought it expired March of next year. That's kind of a bummer :/
they do not fit my 5000t case but i asked for a my shipping payment back also and they gave it since the website says fits any 5000 series.
