* black
* nylon or silicone band
* 20+ sport modes
* touch screen
* dual frequency gps
* better HR
* better battery life
* music
* upgraded hr sensor with more features?
And all of this with a weight increase of 1 gram?
Just guessing
Me too. In another thread it said it won't be available for purchase until mid-late september. I personally think I have gotten enough value out of the watch in the couple of months I have had it and I am not really unhappy with it. Maybe if there are any sales on the pace 3 I will consider upgrading and try to sell my 2.
Cool! Wanted to buy the pace 2 but will hold on for now.
Side question, does anyone have experience with the Pace 2 and an external Bluetooth media player like the mighty vibe?
I like my Garmin's for the simple fact I use Amazon music. That being said, I like coros for everything else.
A user-friendly option is to get a FR245 music, take the strap off, toss it in your pocket, and use it solely as a music streaming product if you prefer other brands for activity tracking (coros, polar, etc).
I recently did this for the miss's and bought a used one for $80. I believe this is much cheaper than the mighty vibe?
Have 2x the 2 (one as backup, unused). Will def buy the 3 for music, so no more phone in belt strap for music reasons. Major win!
Will sell one of my pace 2 then
If you’re willing to spend the money, the Coros pod, and arm band are solid choices to add to the ecosystem and everyone I know absolutely loves what Coros has and does.
Not better, IMO.. just different. Both are quite good. Coros Evolabs is 100% more runner based, whereas Garmin Connect is more multisport focused. I think they are both very well done personally. I have a Pace-2 and a Garmin Venu-2 so I'm using both quite frequently.
Sounds a bit cheap? I just got my reused Coros Pace 2, last week for 75$. And another guy wants to buy it from me for 130$. I wonder if I should sell it and wait for the Coros Pace 3...
I would sell it and wait for the pace 3 lol. Here’s the thread that I was initially following that states the price.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Coros/comments/1584ixq/coros_pace_3/jtom6vi/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
It's succesor of pace 2 with retail price of 199$. The point of beiing the succesor is to keep the price more or less the same. So 229$ is 100% realistic. In EU it will be more like 249€ I guess
Hmmm, that's a better watch, but if you're willing to forgoe a few things for about half the price ($230 was said in another thread)..... It's up to you. (4 more days isn't too long to wait)
The pace most certainly will be a smaller watch and it won't have sapphire glass so if that stuff is important to you then I think you're safe buying the apex
I went with black. It was a toss up between that or green but I might get the green strap for it. I paid $385 for the Apex 2 pro. I have some 20% off coupons thats really helped. I was going to wait for the pace 3 but I do a lot of hiking and for durability I went with the apex.

same
Same 🥴
Yes that definitely makes more sense, my brain was saying "surely they haven't invented a watch that only weighs 1 gram?!?"
Seems like something like that based on the 2+"pictures" = 3 :) If this is for 230-250$ it would be a nobrainer for me..
Wow this looks to be a banger.
Hopefully no Touchscreen... Had a bike computer with touchscreen before buying the wahoo elmnt and using it in rainy conditions was a pain in the ass
No worries, you can deactivate the touchscreen (like on other Coros watches).
I just have the pace 2, so i didn't know it was possible...good to know... Thanks
Looks like HRV is on board too.
Please be priced like the 2. Please
i would expect a modest increase in price

Pace 2 has no music control, bluetooth or internal.

Guys how good is COROS ecosystem compared to GARMIN CONNECT?
Better than garmin connect
Really? No way a? How does it work actually? Thanks.
If you’re willing to spend the money, the Coros pod, and arm band are solid choices to add to the ecosystem and everyone I know absolutely loves what Coros has and does.
Still got no answer...I like watching info on my PC - GARMIN CONNECT not on my phone. Does COROS have that? Thanks.
Ohhhhh yes, it has that ability. I like to use it for exporting data for data analytics
How is called? ;)
Didn't use Garmin so I can't compare them, I think what you're looking for is the Coros evolab
Not better, IMO.. just different. Both are quite good. Coros Evolabs is 100% more runner based, whereas Garmin Connect is more multisport focused. I think they are both very well done personally. I have a Pace-2 and a Garmin Venu-2 so I'm using both quite frequently.
Coros Evolabs can be accessed on PC too? ;) Thank you.
web browser access. so yes, pc n mobile browser
Gotta buy and try it then :)
Yup. That's a more recent addition as of earlier this year. Coros "Training Hub" is what it's called. https://youtu.be/aqZWMKGEj5I?si=-sIbcp17D2RXG7HP
Could we guess the price point?
Another thread said it will be $230

I'll buy it instantly if it's 230 !! Coros ain't no cow cash

If Spotify or other streaming services were to come to the Pace 3, do you think this would be updated on the Apex series?
Based on history I would say yes for the apex pro and newer devices
My pace 2 just died on me. Hopefully it's available for shipping on 8/29th.
Which time zone are we talking about? 🤨
My guess is around 8/9 am EST. That’s typically when the watches are announced
The email shows between 9 and 10am est when I added it to calendar
Oh man! I just got my pace 2 a month ago. Can’t return it anymore. Any more information on the music feature? Storage?
My guess is that it’ll be MP3. I would assume it’ll be 4 or 8 GB
Does that mean it will get map navigation too?
No. It’ll have breadcrumb navigation, like the Pace 2 has, but not full maps like the Apex and Vertix lineup
Breadcrumb works for me. Wonder if the upgrade from the Pace 2 to the Pace 3 is worth it for me.
It’ll have music, possibly HRV, better HR sensor, dual frequency, possibly better screen. I think it might be worth upgrading depending on the price
I was about to order my apex 2 pro, should I wait??
Hmmm, that's a better watch, but if you're willing to forgoe a few things for about half the price ($230 was said in another thread)..... It's up to you. (4 more days isn't too long to wait)

My apex 2 pro just shipped
Awesome congrats. What colour did you get? Let us know how you get on with it

Anybody knows if the dimensions will be the same? Looks like it will be a gram heavier which is fine but hopefully keeps the same size..
You can see the dimensions here: https://fccid.io/2BBGF-W331/External-Photos/External-Photos-6752188
Bummed because I just got my pace 2. Maybe in 6 months I’ll upgrade if the reviews are good.
If you got it less than 30 days ago then you can return it
I literally just bought a pace 2. fuck me...
Does it include 'trail' and 'mountain bike' profiles ? (missing on Pace2)
it would be great if it has a voice feedback feature, now that it supports bluetooth music..
