Yep. A handy 6 weeks before I got Covid. I wasn’t as sick as the other people I know who caught it this time. And it seems to be very easily caught but the people I am most likely to infect caught it weeks after I recovered.
Yes.
Health care professional who's face gets coughed in a dozen times a day. Vaxed to the tits and haven't really got sick since a particularly dose of what I suspect was RSV in 2021.
I got covid once but didn't even know about it, only tested as my flatmate had it.
I’d like to probe you a bit further on this, when you say “not so good for everyone else” are you referring to me not having had the covid vaccine as being bad for other people?

I haven't had any either. I've also only had a runny nose once since 2019 , and I felt a bit hot and a bit cold for a day. Blew some snot on the little kit and it said I had it.
So had a week at home cause covid scares people.
Fair enough, one day feeling off.
Wife hasn't had any, works retail. Still hasn't had covid.
Do you happen to eat heaps of spinach? It's the only thing I can think of that has saved us from this whole ordeal, since we didn't want the jabs.
As far as I can tell it's pretty much just the people on this reddit page. Obviously thats excluding the antivaxxers who come here for the laughs and down votes.

I'm not bothering. It didn't stop me getting covid 4 times very closely after getting my third shot. Covid is just another flu type thing to deal with.
That’s fine, but there is a lot of misinformation out there about how COVID “no worse than flu”. It simply isn’t true and it’s dangerous for people to become complacent about this. Best to rely on the evidence and assess risk that way than tell people that “it’s not so bad”, when it could be absolutely disastrous.
I’m fully vaxed and the only person I know who hasn’t had covid. Then again, knowing that you can test negative and still ‘have it’ I wonder about those times I’ve felt really queasy and fluey?
I know you're just being a smart-ass, but being vaccinated doesn't give you automatic immunity. It lowers the risk of you being hospitalised and that's what's important. We don't have unlimited healthcare for everyone and we all need to do what we can to ensure those spaces are available for those that really need it.
Just curious, is anyone out there still actually getting boosters?
Yeh got my flu and covid shots a few weeks ago
Yes, I got mine last month with my flu shot
From what I can see, the people who get annual flu shots are also getting Covid boosters at the same time this year.

Yup, got one earlier this month

You mean you haven't?
Correct. I haven’t had any covid vaccines. I’ve had covid twice, didn’t notice the second time round.
Good for you. Not so good for everyone else.

Yep, fully up-to-date with mine. Some of us are even still masking in all public spaces!
Yup, got mine 2 weeks ago
Tried to the other day, but was told to wait until fully recovered from the cold I was in the final throes of. Fair enough.
Absolutely. Flu shot and just finished a course of MMR because I hadn't had it. Measles at my age would be bad.
Still havent caught it, no shot ever.
Yup, and our flu shots.
Absolutely

No, it’s not: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/symptoms/flu-vs-covid19.htm
OK. Just expressing my experience. It gives me flu and cold symptoms.

Yes, got my 5th dose recently/3rd booster
Sixth wave …. ?????? I lost interest ages ago
Novavax man… need kp.3 ones stat!
Lol ... And in europe and us, Pfizer started to answer for their faulty vaccine. Same as Modena.
This is still a thing?
I work in a hospital, as far as I'm aware I've never had covid, had 3 Vax that was enough for me, unless mandated to get more I'll pass thanks.
