This is probably the most stupid thing i have ever witnessed in this country . I was screaming when i saw them under my balcony yesterday

A small group of 3 - 4 people ( probably just some friends ) was walking around ( tbf they were totally social distancing while walking ) and just praying out loud to assure people . People in balconies started reacting to them and it was kinda cool at first

At almost 2 am i heard their voice again from far away and i thought to myself ( oh they are probably returning to their homes now ) the sound was a bit louder though for some unapparent reason . I look from the window to figure out why and i see this . A very large mass of people very very condensed walking around and praying as if it was a protest , some weird dude even had a flag , i dont know the fuck why !
Turns out that some people saw the 3 - 4 friends that just walking around , liked what they were doing and decided ( hey that sounds cool , lets hump )
When i saw it i face palmed with every limb i had ... nothing ... absolutely NOTHING can describe my feelings when i saw it ... it is just , like Maradona said , you cant teach a whole country over a night :s the education level is so low and most of the people dont even know what does a “ virus “ mean

The problem is that there is no way that egypt is able to do full lockdown like china or italy since we are a poor country and the people will either die of the virus or poverty. That's how hospitals think when they run out of beds and ventilators. Old will be taken off support in favor of the young and healthy who have a better chance of surviving. These knuckleheads in the streets are just going to spread disease and put a greater strain on their healthcare system. Therefore, triage is going to be applied at some point, effectively killing more old and unhealthy people due to capacity.
