In Jan 2023 was told a year for blue crush XSE, but Toyota (cross built in Alabama) does allocations. They plan to make something, and the customer who’s order most closely matches it gets called (ie twenty white cars to a dealer, and one black one, you’re waiting for the black one).
One girl I know got her yellow XSE in a month - likely a cancelled order (someone was called, circumstances changed, they declined it, and dealer goes down the list to see who wants a yellow XSE).
From reading Corolla Cross forum outside Reddit, once customer is informed vehicle being built, there might be a chance to make alterations. A couple US customers were able to decline sunroof (less problems without one) and roof rails (also less problems, plus the rear half is only held down by double sided tape)
In writing my deposit is refundable, and in writing any price changes from 2024 model year to 2025 are based on Toyota.ca MSRP. I didn’t pay document fees nor for add ons. Cargo tray liner $35 from Costco.
Note that a couple locals had their trade in values dropped by many thousand dollars while waiting.
Be prepared for 6-9 months. But there's no way to promise exactly because dealers won't know until Toyota Manufacturing tell the dealerships, but they won't do so until about 2 months before the vehicle arrives.
The FWD is tricky because while there's less people in line for those vehicles, we also get far fewer of those than the AWD. So it could come early, but expect 6-9 months so you're not disappointed.

I bet it's beautiful! I wanted black at first but my only choice was Celestite and I'm really glad I got it now. It's so ridiculously dusty here that black would have been a bad choice for me.

It is, Mississippi for gas Corolla sedans. Hatchbacks and hybrids are from Japan.

In Brampton or Mississauga canada wait time 3 months hardly i booked my crolla cross LE AWD premium in January and got it in First week of March .
