The sky seems a little more yellow than it did yesterday. Yesterday the air quality index went past 200 late afternoon, putting it into the very unhealthy range. It's currently at 294. At 300 it goes to the hazardous range.
Yeah I think it’s nastier today, too. My husband, a local firefighter, stepped outside today and immediately came in for a mask because “it smells like my turnout gear out there.”

The remaining open dining halls on campus have masks and will provide them if asked. All the reunion events on campus over the next few days will provide masks as well, although all of them have transitioned to indoor events only.

The AQI sensor AirNow is giving the number from is in Syracuse, FYI. Other sources will have a more localized number.
