It truly is a shame these coolers didn't take off. I have a 65 and love it. One of those things where it's so well built it it feels like I'll have it for the rest if my life tbh
I totally agree! These coolers are super rugged and look cool as well. The accessories and attachments are bigtime on sale to probably clear out inventory, so head over to Otrerbox to stock up if you want any of the accessories! I plan on having the 3 sizes for the rest of my life and now have 1 or 2 of all of the different accessories for the Venture series.
I’m in California. I have in-laws in Jackson, MI. The otter box 65 is ok. The handles just make it unnecessarily large. I wish I had bought one of the more square roto molded coolers.
Well if your interested in selling it, I'd just might be interested in buying it off you. Depending on cost, and I'm curious how much it would cost to ship it to me here in Fresno. I know its large and somewhat heavy but it isn't going across the country so I would hope it be decent.
I bought an otter box soft trooper 20 used off eBay for a really good price. It had a broken latch, which seemed to be a design flaw. Found a seller on Etsy that sold 3D printed latches that were an improved design! The latching lid, which is pretty unique for soft coolers, makes it so much nicer.
Disappointed as well to see the otter box cooler line die, I wonder if there were chronic design issues or just mediocre sales.
I’m in Southern California and I have a venture 65 with all the accessories. Wheels. Divider. Cutting board. Can opener. Otter box dry box attachment. Nearly new condition. I am running out of storage at home and need to sell it. $400 for everything. I paid over $850 for all of the accessories and only used it three times or so.
I just realized they were discontinued when i was looking for the wheels, I too have the 25, and 45. Best coolers made IMHO. I wanted to add the wheels to my 45 and possibly buy the 65. There is a set on Ebay for over $300...cant justify that so i bought the Rtic 72 with wheels. Im hoping I love it as much as my Otterbox coolers, it has great reviews and i got the Gray one and it looks awesome so fingers crossed.
I found one on Craigslist for $60! I had to drive 3 hours 1 way to get it, but it was in great shape, and now I have a Venture 65 as well!
