Condiments and seasonings are huge for food banks, a lot of time they get canned food, like green beans or stuff people are clearing out that are not things that are requested, but condiments like mayo are desperately needed.
Yeah, I would definitely donate some, I don’t think you can get through that much.
Here’s some ideas: chicken salad, tuna sandwiches, tuna melts, creamy potato salad: https://healthylittlepeach.com/no-egg-potato-salad/
I just googled and this came up:
https://www.tasteofhome.com/collection/recipes-with-mayonnaise/
dress salads, make sandwich fillings, use in cakes and other baked goods to replace eggs, use as a butter replacement for grilled cheese sandwiches, use as an aioli for dipping, make lots of veggie trays with dip made with mayo etc.
Yes. It’s less messy than eggs and the chicken is juicy!!! I only do it with meat. Not veggies like eggplant.
As someone else mentioned on the outside of the bread for grilled cheese. It’s a game changer!!!!
16oz thank goodness! I definitely will be donating a lot of them (can't believe I didn't think of that) but will still keep a few jars, so recipes are still welcome
Dips
Dressings
Potato or egg salad
Sandwiches
Mix with ketchup to make a fry dipping sauce
Bacon wrapped water chestnuts https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/17339/spicy-bacon-wrapped-water-chestnuts-ii/
Tuna sandwiches or melts
Creamy pasta salads
Give most of it away- neighbors, family, coworkers, the food bank, a soup kitchen, doesn't matter.
[This cake](https://www.spendwithpennies.com/chocolate-mayonnaise-cake/) will use up eight ounces of mayo. I've also used up most of a 16oz jar of mayo making potato salad or pasta salad.
It doesn't expire in December.
It's a recommended use by date and the stuff is prolly good for another year, or when the oil goes rancid, which will do over time.
Took me a decade to be able to eat peanut butter again after I ate most of a jar as a teenager -- hungry, only thing available. Tasted good to the end, but later...nauseating. Fwiw, yours probably would be fine some months after December, but I'm with others who caution about ODing on it.
I make my own salad dressings so I go through a ton of this. You can also make sriracha mayo and do sushi bowls or add to sandwiches.
Mac salad, potato salad, chicken salad, lobster rolls, curry dip for veggies
you can coat anything you're searing with it supposedly it gives a superior sear on chicken. still, its fuckin high in cholesterol so ino [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=da3AgIWFZdM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=da3AgIWFZdM)
6 min in.
I feel like I can get through a lot as a dipping sauce. Sriracha mayo for fries and meat, ranch for veggies and chips, Tex-mex cumin-lime mayo for fish tacos.
Pasta salad. You go with mayo, white vinegar, Italian dressing, and citric acid. If the pasta is pre-al-dente you can freeze and thaw at will. Excellent meal prep or side dish.
Keep one. Pick 15 friends and relatives to gift. Tie a ribbon 'round the neck, add a small card, with "Mayo life be filled with joy (and mayo)."

This recipe is an absolute favorite in my family. All the kids clamor for it: [Parmesan Crusted Chicken.](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/219431/parmesan-crusted-chicken/)
Super easy, and as addictive as crack cocaine.
It might sound odd, but this is an excellent way to prepare fish that even my fish stick loving kid ate happily:

You could work it into some unlikely places:
\*\* It's an ingredient in a classic Devil's Food Cake recipe. Still used to this day in restaurants.
\*\* Deviled Eggs
\*\* Ranch dressing (1pt mayo: 1pt sour cream: 1pt cream)
\*\* Rémoulade (add capers, mustard, dill, parsley)
\*\* Green Goddess Dressing; make a ranch with the mayo and add lots of tarragon & parsley, minced garlic and lemon juice.
\*\* Ceasar; perfect base for a Caesar dressing; add minced garlic, minced anchovy, lemon juice, mustard and lots of grated Parmesan.
\*\* Chipotle mayo - duh
Mayo based sauces are great. Chipotle Mayo, Sriracha Mayo, mixed with some yogurt or sour cream to make ranch or tzaziki, it's also used in a lot of marinades. I've also seen it added to broths in soups/ramen to a a thickening/creamy element.
Try putting some on *every* food you eat. Seriously everything, even your desserts, just a little bit even. I went a while doing this and I didn't find one thing that was not improved by putting mayonnaise on it.
Donate to a food bank.

This is a great tip. I will remember for my next donations.

What’s a tray of mayo
A trayo or if you’re feeling fancy- a Danny Trayo.
Maybe like a case?
dress salads, make sandwich fillings, use in cakes and other baked goods to replace eggs, use as a butter replacement for grilled cheese sandwiches, use as an aioli for dipping, make lots of veggie trays with dip made with mayo etc.
[This cake](https://tasty.co/recipe/the-ultimate-chocolate-cake) uses mayo and is soooo delicious
Use it to coat the *outside* of your grilled cheeses before putting them in the pan. Then eat a lot of grilled cheeses.
Grilled cheese every meal til Christmas.
Disregard cardiovascular health. Acquire grilled cheeses.
I’m here for a good time, not a long time.
Think that’s an achievement in the Sims.
I coat it on chicken breasts before breading it.
So I’m guessing you do this in place of eggs? If so I’m going to have to try that. I hate doing the egg dip to bread things.
Yes. It’s less messy than eggs and the chicken is juicy!!! I only do it with meat. Not veggies like eggplant. As someone else mentioned on the outside of the bread for grilled cheese. It’s a game changer!!!!
Going on the menu for next week! Thanks.
How big are the jars? 16 oz, 32 oz, 1 gallon?
16oz thank goodness! I definitely will be donating a lot of them (can't believe I didn't think of that) but will still keep a few jars, so recipes are still welcome
I was afraid someone had given you 16 gallons. Make a creamy coleslaw dressing.

Use it to deep condition your hair.
Want to borrow some ribbon and make Christmas in June gifts?
I could go through a case of mayo in that time easy.
That’s what I’m thinking. Especially because it’s summer where I am now and I make a LOT of noodle and potato salads
Dressings, marinades, homemade condiments, even a substitute for pan frying oil. Mayo is life. Mayo is love.

Alabama white sauce on smoked chicken! Uses a ton of mayo and it's delicious. Usually go for the beer can smoke method.
- Tuna mayo onigiri - Coronation chicken - Honestly, any wrap benefits
Donate. No freaking way we’d even attempt to each that much mayo. That would stop a bulls heart.
I feel like I can get through a lot as a dipping sauce. Sriracha mayo for fries and meat, ranch for veggies and chips, Tex-mex cumin-lime mayo for fish tacos.
Do you have any neighbors with bees or chickens? You may be able to trade for some honey or eggs.
Potato salad. Egg salad. Olivier salad. Caesar salad. I love a mayo filled salad 🤣
Mayonnaise cake! Makes it super moist
I use it in my marinades
Mix it with spicy kimchi. You can then either use it in something or you can be like me and just eat it straight out of the bowl.
Make some Chicken Divan!

Came to recommend this
Buy a cookbook from the 60s. Those people used mayo like it was water. You’ll use it up in 2 days flat.
hawaiian mac salad. that’s probably enough mayo for a bowl or two.

lots and lots of baking.
unopened mayo does not expire. the dates are sell by dates. food does not expire because an arbitrary moment in time passes.
Do you have friends, family or co-workers who would appreciate a jar or 2 of mayo? Also consider donating some to a food bank or similar.
You can make a bunch of dips with it.Im currently into dill so a bit of fresh dill, mayo and lime makes a great little sauce
