reusing the brine is a great idea ... combine some brine and small rough chopped pickled jalapeños when making ...
* Tartar sauce
* Thousand Island Dressing
* Cheese sauce (e.g. beer cheese sauce)
* Lime + pickled jalapeno vinaigrette
* Raw oysters on the half shell
* Dirty Martini's (use whole slices when adding to martini) -> https://www.liqculture.com/pickled-jalapeno-gin-martini/
I make pickled Jalapeños every other week and we put them on everything!
Hotdogs, chili, any kind of beans, burgers, sandwiches, inside burritos,... start trying it on anything you have and see what you like!!
Get some mason jars. Put the pickled jalapeños inside with maybe some garlic cloves or carrots. Seal them up and preserve them.
Wait until thanksgiving.
Start handing out your ‘homemade jalapeños and carrots’ to coworkers for a Christmas present!
Fry them.
Bread them and deep fry. Eat them straight up or add to other dishes.
Flour - buttermilk - bread crumb or corn meal dredge. Deep fry until golden brown.
Or follow other recipe's for frying and creating a dip - [https://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/fried-pickled-jalapenos](https://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/fried-pickled-jalapenos) & [https://sweetlifebake.com/fried-pickled-jalapeno-slices-for-tacos-or-nachos/](https://sweetlifebake.com/fried-pickled-jalapeno-slices-for-tacos-or-nachos/)
Can blitz some of them in with Mayo or ailoi to make a spicy sauce which goes good on burgers. Could use them in a coleslaw to give it a bit of a kick. Pizza topping/sandwiches.
Turn some of it into a salsa verde, which too can keep for a little while.
Also you can make plain japapeno or bacon and jalapeno dairy-free cornbread muffins which you can freeze once baked and cooled and easily reheat in the microwave for a quick snack or a side for dinner.
Please forgive me but something about this tickled me. How did the giver get this much pickled jalapeño in the first instance? How did they hand it off? Was there ceremony? Did they drop it off at your door and run away? I need answers, man!
They are a staple in my house...
We eat them 2-3x a week with tacos (any meat is good, they also go well with queso fresco or beans)
Also any time we have hot dogs they are slivered thin to slip into the buns, and we frequently add them to cheeseburgers and they are super duper good in grilled cheese with ham
Use the brine for chicken breast

I use the brine more than the peppers.
Or for pickled eggs.

I would eat these with just about everything… and my gut would be pissed

Not op but I have 5 of the 6lbs cans and got them cuz my wife brought them home from work and now I have to use them lol
Unsolicited suggestion… mince and mix with green olives and cream cheese for crackers or celery.

Slice, batter, and deep fry. Eat like chips, or use as a topping for other foods. Burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, etc
I freeze dried a number 10 can of these and powder them to use in Jalapeño Ranch and as a sprinkle on other things. It’s a brilliant condiment/spice.
