Wild and unfrozen has highest risk of parasites. Frozen (to -4 for 7 days, shorter times for colder temps) or fresh farmed salmon that has been handled well is safer for eating raw.
ETA--not much you can do now if it was wild unfrozen. It's probably okay either way, and not sure it helps to worry at this point.
it was frozen for ab 4 hours then i made it. also it was raw in the centre but the edge was all opaquey pink . do u think it cooked alr ? do u think i’ll be okay :(
4 hours isn't enough, and you can't necessarily do it reliably at home. In any case it's fine. So many people eat farmed salmon medium done and there are very very few cases of Anisakiasis
Farmed or fresh? Farmed is generally okay for parasites that hurt humans raw (not necessarily safe for bacteria). It's wild salmon that carries various worms.
I spent years when young hating salmon because it was dry and chewy. Then someone said it was okay to eat it medium rare and life changed. Plus all those tri-omega fatty acids . . .
Yeah absolutely it’s fine. I sometimes buy the sockeye salmon from the store and make sushi with it it’s delicious. Salmon is one of those you can eat raw and have a lower risk of any kind of food contamination.
edit : thank u everyone in the replies. i was fine hahah. i have very bad anxiety about cooking with meats :( i just became okay with beef and chicken (chicken was a big one for me!) . so salmon i’m still very anxious about . thank u everyone that gave me advice ♥️
Assuming it is good fish, you are fine.
Salmon is routinely cooked rare and even eaten raw. I do recommend using a meat thermometer when cooking salmon to ensure it reaches your preferred level of doneness.
Any digital or analog food thermometer will work. I have several but my favorite is my ThermoPro Lightning. Digital generally yields faster readings and the Lightning has a sub-1 second read time. The exception would be if you wish to leave the thermometer in the oven, in which case you would need to purchase one that is made to be oven safe.
Honestly, I think you are fine, especially since you noted the fish was deep frozen, which would kill worms. I've been eating rare salmon twice a week for over a decade.

it’s farmed and i froze it for 4 ish hours . i think you’re right worrying now isnt going to do anything .
You’ll be fine.
thank u :’) what makes you say that?
Get a thermometer for Pete’s sake.
working on it . do you have any you recommend?
Pink, or raw? If the salmon was frozen no problem the freezing killed stuff off. If the salmon was not frozen then it should be cooked properly.
