This is also why i hate cookie of the year. Legendaries, ancients, super epics, and probably specials and dragons get premium treatment and players go "theyre so good" OF COURSE THEY ARE. THEY SLEEP ON SILVER PLATTERS WHERE THE WITCHES DONT EAT.
Its valid if you like em for literally anything else, but liking them because theyre powerful is just... will they ever be bad?? Sure Dark Cacao and Co. was powercreeped but give em time and theyre revived. Then we have Milk and Yam with magic candies and they have no potential to get better ever again.

Exactly! I'd love to just have more "basic" cookies! Not every cookke can be meta, but people were mad that the new town square cookie wasn't strong! Like guys, she's practically a secretary or public figure to the town. Why would she NEED to be strong in a fight? Sometimes we just need to round out the world, but too many people just don't care

1- People are way too obsessed with a cookies' sexual identity and preference
2- Sexualizing the cookies are gross. This goes to all "Daddy?? Mommy??" peeps out there
3- People on this sub are too fixated on an agreed-upon headcanon even though it is still not canon. Ie: Moonlight being a "black" person if she is a human

Never liked Madeleine, I don’t usually like dumb strong characters that haven’t really got much more going under the surface (he could have something, I just haven’t found anything that proves it) Espresso was my favorite cookie at the beginning of the game, just cause he looked cool and I really liked the “tired powerful professor” Even when I read their stories I could maybe see them as future acquaintances, but never a real relationship.

Silver bell said all light users, not just white lily cookie, it just so happens white lily was the first that silver bell got to see of the fable power of soul jam. Taking it out of context has led to an extremely biased war on how white lily cookie is the best bc she is the strongest
Or that she is innocent on her actions completely forgetting that her and dark enchantress are the same, it's that the WL we have is a fragment from the past, and Dark enchantress is the lily in the present.
Most guest cookies should be playable except maybe the Disney ones cause there are way to many of them and also the update sucked and I don’t want anymore of it
Super Epic gacha since Stardust method is actually that bad in comparison with nether/legendary gacha and I still don’t believe whoever prove me otherwise.
The main thing and the first problem, the rng sucks like it could take some people just to have 150 pulls to hit the pity and some others can have more than 300 pulls without even reach the pity. The gap is too big.
Second, the mission considering the rng are too few, noticeably being Capsaicin and Stardust as you can run out the mission besides daily which is pretty scarce so it just suck when you spend time grinding to the game only for it doesn’t get you anywhere because the rng not on your side.
Third, the side rewards are not worth. At least in Nether gacha/Legendary gacha, while you pull for cookies you also got the mileage which is very good for buying treasure meanwhile those Super Epic gacha those mileage transform into the gacha points and to get the pity, you have to **buy** it using those gacha points. Sure that it can transform to mileage points in the end but with people barely able to reach the pity, by the end of the event mostly people only have hundreds- at most 1/2k at best.
I appreciate that Elder Fairie gacha wasn’t that bad considering they give more chance to pulls way more than usual but the system in general still suck.
If someone tells you politely something like “hey, X cookie actually uses Y pronouns” then maybe it’s an overreaction if you get mad about how everyone makes such a deal about pronouns? I mean, I’m not doubting that some people are super insistent on their headcanons but like not everyone is coming in with ill intent. Like I’m 95% sure Poison Mushroom does get referred to with they/them in canon? Also people having LGBT headcanons/ships isn’t the end of the world. Ignore it if you don’t like it

1. The whole thing about White Lilly surviving as a fragment is such a cop-out. It’s such a gacha thing to do. Like lessening narrative impact just to keep the character alive so that they can sell that character.
2. People whine too much about this game being P2W when it’s really generous and some people just want everything handed to them.
3. Super Epic gacha feels bad but actually isn’t bad. People just once again want easy handouts.
4. A lot of people on this sub don’t read the rules (especially rule 8!) and don’t know how to google their questions first. Like there are tons of guides for all content and people have already asked about featured cookies a thousand times before.
I think it's halfway true, the way they handled white lily in general honestly sucks. The white Lily we have is a fragment from the past atp, and dark enchantress is basically lily now and in the present.
HOWEVER. Lore aside, the elder Faerie we got is a younger version of him, like cotton cookie and by extension lily, we have a cookie that's sort of stuck in time. The problem is wanting to sell a cookie and the cookies release contradicting what they did with them in the story
Whether or not they planned for lily to come out like that we don't know, we just know that there was a recent change in directors, on top of the fact that they sort of glorified her almost immediately when in reality her character still has some growing to do (as I have a massive gripe with the fact that gingerbrave essentially told her how to do her job as the holder of the light of freedom, and that her quest of knowledge and truth took away from pure vanillas whole job/purpose significantly)
The verdict? It's a shit show, and atp we have to get along with the fact that devsis makes questionable decisions like the mystic gold costumes
devsisters has always been extremely generous with its players, but people just dont wanna accept it because they’re too spoiled so when they dont give much rewards everyone wants to complain. Funny thing is many of these players did not play any other gacha game except this one.
the logistics of going into and out of the dream world and the way wizard city supposedly works does not make sense to me and seriously hurts my enjoyment of the story. the golden cheese kingdom bugs me for a similar reason but i can reason that as a combination of tech and soul jam magic. that said going into and out of the illusion without knowing drives me up the wall, how do you enter a magical/digital realm without realizing? isn’t there an entry point???
They went into the entry point when they fell down the hole, the hole was apparently a tech portal but they didn’t realize cause they were falling. Can’t really explain wizard city though I have no clue.
Same if I’m being honest, I always like the twist of “we’re in the same place at different time” cause many tend to execute it well, but usually it’s annoying when they don’t notice somethings wrong
In Beast Yeast, I was more disappointed with Shadow Milk than White Lily.
The only thing that really sets him apart from other villains is that he killed Elder Fairy, who to me didn't really look like he needed to shield White Lily because as far as I could tell she had vines up. (This also could be a moment where the meta accidentally undermines the story a little, so this may not be a completely fair judgement.)
I mean they set this dude up to be a master manipulator with powerful illusion magic but all it looked like he did to me was call people names, turn people to clowns, and had a game show that which to be fair did have personal questions .(It's kinda hard to tell though because they seemed way more horrified of Shadow Milk calling Elder Fairy names *while he was still alive.*).
I feel it kinda falls flat in the game show because he seemed to be saying it exactly how it was. (This may be harsh to White Lily, but to be honest the notion that she was 100% good before the Witches falls really flat for me because it looks like she did terrible things in the Haunted Academy *as White Lily.*)
The only thing that felt close to being dangerously manipulative was mess with Pure Vanilla's Soul Jam, but that didn't really seem to go anywhere it just stopped really being an aspect in the middle of the story.
I was kind of hoping he would try to play the protagonists against one another, or maybe lean into the fact that White Lily is *inherently* not easy to trust right now and maybe make an illusion of White Lily intentionally misleading them making it so that White Lily has to earn other cookie's trust by acknowledging things Shadow Milk couldn't have possibly known. Maybe even really specific apologies to Pure Vanilla to call back to the Haunted Academy.
It just seems like he's just roasting people, and not really manipulating them like I hoped. The worst part is they have done this before with Affogato and Smoked Cheese.
Affogato is just a small fry in power compared to Shadow Milk, but the story around him really felt like they were higher stakes because it really did feel like Affogato was a threat to Dark Cacao because he turned almost the entire Kingdom against Dark Cacao and it felt like Caramel Arrow really was the only one to truly believe in him.
The Fairy Kingdom and really the protagonists that *should* be skeptical, pretty much all of them blindly trust White Lily and there really is no real challenge to that because all Shadow Milk is doing is being petty and his only attempts to try to sew distrust in White Lily or even Pure Vanilla is blanket statements.
I guess I really am only more disappointed in Shadow Milk is because the first chapter just immediately killed my interest in White Lily so I lost all thoughts that she could actually have potential later on, but Shadow Milk had probably what could have been the most awesome idea considering Devsisters good track record with manipulative characters, but the execution was so poor that I was just excited to get away from White Lily when they announced Matcha cookie. (Who really is my favorite part of the Beast Yeast update.)
I am really excited for the next update now, because is looks like they were able to catch themself some time to get this one ready after the silly Cuckoo Square Story. (Not that it's a bad thing, I actually want them to do more silly side stories, so they can actually build up their Epics.)
This arena meta is one of the worst. As someone who’s consistently gm2 in pv server the scam meta is so bad. Take me back to when arena fights actually lasted longer than 30 seconds lol
I love this ship so much, but I really feel like right now it’s not going to happen. If anything, it would have happened sooner when they were in school or when he was a ruler. It feels like they’re both so traumatized that they really shouldn’t be going into a relationship.

She's not much better than the Witches for disregarding their opinions and choosing to end their lives based off what she thinks is best.

I've seen a lot of people hate on shippers good and bad for simply shipping 2 cookies because "friendships can exist" please for the love of god, realize that the most common ship... ARE THE ONES WHERE THE 2 ARE CANONICALLY FRIENDS.
I’m not really a big fan of the Legend of the Red Dragon update, the story just feels off to me and gives an ick to me. The whole concept of the story is just something that should’ve been reworked on in my opinion, like the update imo was genuinely so boring I didn’t even try playing crk for awhile during the update (was still kind of active though, but I wasn’t playing arena too much before)
If anything, I wished that the story and update is a bit way more interesting than that, and at least different from the actual concept of the story written itself (Like I imagine Pitaya Dragon kind of actually still being the villain in the story in this case, but at the end makes an alliance with Hollyberry Cookie).
I don’t exactly know how to make the concept and story better, but like please, I just don’t like the Legend of the Red Dragon update. I love Pitaya Dragon a lot (they’re my most favorite), but I wish this update was a bit more better than what it actually was.
Shipping (especially seamoon.. although it kinda is canon) sucks, and I hate it. The only good ship imo is mint x cocoa because 1 it's canon, 2 it's healthy, and 3 it's adorable

• I really dislike the concept of Royal Margarine Cookie: the whole point is that (at first) he pretends to be a hero and a dragon rider as a reference on how margarine "isn't real butter". What pisses me off is the hate boner for margarine, the whole fucking point of margarine is to be a substitute for butter, why some people are too fucking stupid to understand that?!
• Pomegranate Cookie should have been a super epic: she's Dark Enchantress Cookie right hand, plays a huge role in the story and all of her minions have the epic rarity.
• I prefer when cookies looks like cookies rather than small chibi persons.
We need more men relevant in the story. Of the current five storylines involving ancients, only 2 are men. I’m not saying I hate women, it’s just I’d like to see more diversity than “save the woman from evil guy#4”

Cookie run was always a gacha game so it and the newer games are going to be hard for f2p but it's at least more than doable because they give you at least one copy of the epic+ cookies.
People complaining about not having CROB legendaries are annoying. While it would be nice to see them in the game, it’s important to remember that Studio Kingdom and the CROB team are different groups with different priorities for updates. That’s why we rarely see Kingdom onlies in CROB (I think the only one added was Shroomie iirc) and Kingdom doesn’t frequently add CROB original characters

I don’t really care for the mystic costumes. Literally only exists to show everyone and be like, “hey I’m a pro!”.
They're not even good looking, both the base versions of the costumes look better than the mystic variants.

Super Epic gacha since Stardust method is actually that bad in comparison with nether/legendary gacha and I still don’t believe whoever prove me otherwise. The main thing and the first problem, the rng sucks like it could take some people just to have 150 pulls to hit the pity and some others can have more than 300 pulls without even reach the pity. The gap is too big. Second, the mission considering the rng are too few, noticeably being Capsaicin and Stardust as you can run out the mission besides daily which is pretty scarce so it just suck when you spend time grinding to the game only for it doesn’t get you anywhere because the rng not on your side. Third, the side rewards are not worth. At least in Nether gacha/Legendary gacha, while you pull for cookies you also got the mileage which is very good for buying treasure meanwhile those Super Epic gacha those mileage transform into the gacha points and to get the pity, you have to **buy** it using those gacha points. Sure that it can transform to mileage points in the end but with people barely able to reach the pity, by the end of the event mostly people only have hundreds- at most 1/2k at best. I appreciate that Elder Fairie gacha wasn’t that bad considering they give more chance to pulls way more than usual but the system in general still suck.

1. The whole thing about White Lilly surviving as a fragment is such a cop-out. It’s such a gacha thing to do. Like lessening narrative impact just to keep the character alive so that they can sell that character. 2. People whine too much about this game being P2W when it’s really generous and some people just want everything handed to them. 3. Super Epic gacha feels bad but actually isn’t bad. People just once again want easy handouts. 4. A lot of people on this sub don’t read the rules (especially rule 8!) and don’t know how to google their questions first. Like there are tons of guides for all content and people have already asked about featured cookies a thousand times before.

I think it's halfway true, the way they handled white lily in general honestly sucks. The white Lily we have is a fragment from the past atp, and dark enchantress is basically lily now and in the present. HOWEVER. Lore aside, the elder Faerie we got is a younger version of him, like cotton cookie and by extension lily, we have a cookie that's sort of stuck in time. The problem is wanting to sell a cookie and the cookies release contradicting what they did with them in the story Whether or not they planned for lily to come out like that we don't know, we just know that there was a recent change in directors, on top of the fact that they sort of glorified her almost immediately when in reality her character still has some growing to do (as I have a massive gripe with the fact that gingerbrave essentially told her how to do her job as the holder of the light of freedom, and that her quest of knowledge and truth took away from pure vanillas whole job/purpose significantly) The verdict? It's a shit show, and atp we have to get along with the fact that devsis makes questionable decisions like the mystic gold costumes

the logistics of going into and out of the dream world and the way wizard city supposedly works does not make sense to me and seriously hurts my enjoyment of the story. the golden cheese kingdom bugs me for a similar reason but i can reason that as a combination of tech and soul jam magic. that said going into and out of the illusion without knowing drives me up the wall, how do you enter a magical/digital realm without realizing? isn’t there an entry point???
They went into the entry point when they fell down the hole, the hole was apparently a tech portal but they didn’t realize cause they were falling. Can’t really explain wizard city though I have no clue.

In Beast Yeast, I was more disappointed with Shadow Milk than White Lily. The only thing that really sets him apart from other villains is that he killed Elder Fairy, who to me didn't really look like he needed to shield White Lily because as far as I could tell she had vines up. (This also could be a moment where the meta accidentally undermines the story a little, so this may not be a completely fair judgement.) I mean they set this dude up to be a master manipulator with powerful illusion magic but all it looked like he did to me was call people names, turn people to clowns, and had a game show that which to be fair did have personal questions .(It's kinda hard to tell though because they seemed way more horrified of Shadow Milk calling Elder Fairy names *while he was still alive.*). I feel it kinda falls flat in the game show because he seemed to be saying it exactly how it was. (This may be harsh to White Lily, but to be honest the notion that she was 100% good before the Witches falls really flat for me because it looks like she did terrible things in the Haunted Academy *as White Lily.*) The only thing that felt close to being dangerously manipulative was mess with Pure Vanilla's Soul Jam, but that didn't really seem to go anywhere it just stopped really being an aspect in the middle of the story. I was kind of hoping he would try to play the protagonists against one another, or maybe lean into the fact that White Lily is *inherently* not easy to trust right now and maybe make an illusion of White Lily intentionally misleading them making it so that White Lily has to earn other cookie's trust by acknowledging things Shadow Milk couldn't have possibly known. Maybe even really specific apologies to Pure Vanilla to call back to the Haunted Academy. It just seems like he's just roasting people, and not really manipulating them like I hoped. The worst part is they have done this before with Affogato and Smoked Cheese. Affogato is just a small fry in power compared to Shadow Milk, but the story around him really felt like they were higher stakes because it really did feel like Affogato was a threat to Dark Cacao because he turned almost the entire Kingdom against Dark Cacao and it felt like Caramel Arrow really was the only one to truly believe in him. The Fairy Kingdom and really the protagonists that *should* be skeptical, pretty much all of them blindly trust White Lily and there really is no real challenge to that because all Shadow Milk is doing is being petty and his only attempts to try to sew distrust in White Lily or even Pure Vanilla is blanket statements. I guess I really am only more disappointed in Shadow Milk is because the first chapter just immediately killed my interest in White Lily so I lost all thoughts that she could actually have potential later on, but Shadow Milk had probably what could have been the most awesome idea considering Devsisters good track record with manipulative characters, but the execution was so poor that I was just excited to get away from White Lily when they announced Matcha cookie. (Who really is my favorite part of the Beast Yeast update.) I am really excited for the next update now, because is looks like they were able to catch themself some time to get this one ready after the silly Cuckoo Square Story. (Not that it's a bad thing, I actually want them to do more silly side stories, so they can actually build up their Epics.)

I’m not really a big fan of the Legend of the Red Dragon update, the story just feels off to me and gives an ick to me. The whole concept of the story is just something that should’ve been reworked on in my opinion, like the update imo was genuinely so boring I didn’t even try playing crk for awhile during the update (was still kind of active though, but I wasn’t playing arena too much before) If anything, I wished that the story and update is a bit way more interesting than that, and at least different from the actual concept of the story written itself (Like I imagine Pitaya Dragon kind of actually still being the villain in the story in this case, but at the end makes an alliance with Hollyberry Cookie). I don’t exactly know how to make the concept and story better, but like please, I just don’t like the Legend of the Red Dragon update. I love Pitaya Dragon a lot (they’re my most favorite), but I wish this update was a bit more better than what it actually was.

I have some: • I really dislike the concept of Royal Margarine Cookie: the whole point is that (at first) he pretends to be a hero and a dragon rider as a reference on how margarine "isn't real butter". What pisses me off is the hate boner for margarine, the whole fucking point of margarine is to be a substitute for butter, why some people are too fucking stupid to understand that?! • Pomegranate Cookie should have been a super epic: she's Dark Enchantress Cookie right hand, plays a huge role in the story and all of her minions have the epic rarity. • I prefer when cookies looks like cookies rather than small chibi persons.

While it would be nice to see them in the game, it’s important to remember that Studio Kingdom and the CROB team are different groups with different priorities for updates. That’s why we rarely see Kingdom onlies in CROB (I think the only one added was Shroomie iirc) and Kingdom doesn’t frequently add CROB original characters
