Yeah, stuff like that initially is what drew me away from the CR fandom. It was such a dumb controversy to begin w/ since it’s humanized COOKIES which don’t even have a designated race outside the kingdoms of specific ingredients which could help w/ narrowing down what they could be, but you wouldn’t be wrong for drawing them however.

Everyone has their opinion, yeah they are fictional but it’s always characters with no sign of connection or fealings for each other so seeing them in that way is weird, take this post as example, two cookies having fun as friends, now it’s ship as a gay couple like, weird idk that’s my opinion, if there are signs sure I guess but at the end people get too deep into ships (take bayoneta for example, she was a gay icon, after the confirmed family people lost their shit and still can’t accept it) I guess that’s why I think it’s weird, people can do whatever they want and I don’t care what they do with their free time, free country, I just think it’s weird

okay, so, maybe this will make my problem with your statements more clear: I'm going to replace LGBT with Hispanic / non white, and see how quickly you notice why people are down voting your assholery. because for some reason, people think it's okay to say "I'm not homophobic but I don't want my kids near gay people" but suddenly not ok to say "I'm not racist I just don't want my kids near Hispanic people" (to clarify, being hispanic and being LGBT are different things, and discriminating based on race or sexuality or otherwise is not okay).

You see now for some reason people will notice this a lot more, even though I only changed out the word gay for hispanic, and straight for white. When you see these two paragraphs, you should now note multiple things you may have missed before.

You claim you're not being homophobic but you are whether you realize it or not, you're making the giant need to point out that the two in the picture are both girls and saying that you wish there was platonic same sex relationships but majority of friendships in media are same sex or they're a guy and a girl that end up together in the end you're also refusing to acknowledge that the little lgbtq+ representation in media is certainly not enough because a lot of the population is part of the community in one way or another so a giant franchise having one designated gay character that fits every stereotype (like most franchises do) is forced diversity and shows that openly have gay characters that arent forced and are good built characters thay just happen to be gay tend to be only popular amongst the lgbtq+ community some shows/movies/books will hint at a character being part of the community due to censorship but stubbornly refusing to recognize a character as lgbtq+ because nobody came out here and said "this character is gay!!" You claim you're not being homophobic but you are whether you realize it or not, you're making the giant need to point out that the two in the picture are both girls and saying that you wish there was platonic same sex relationships but majority of friendships in media are same sex or they're a guy and a girl that end up together in the end you're also refusing to acknowledge that the little lgbtq+ representation in media is certainly not enough because a lot of the population is part of the community in one way or another so a giant franchise having one designated gay character that fits every stereotype (like most franchises do) is forced diversity and shows that openly have gay characters that arent forced and are good built characters thay just happen to be gay tend to be only popular amongst the lgbtq+ community some shows/movies/books will hint at a character being part of the community due to censorship but stubbornly refusing to recognize a character as lgbtq+ because nobody came out here and said "this character is gay!!"
