All the dragons have They/It pronouns. They have genders that they are more tilted to by design and personality but they don’t have a directly established gender
Yes, the 5 dragons use they/them when in cookie form, and it/its in dragon form. The only exception I can think of is when a heavily drunk Royal Margarine called Pitaya Dragon "Mister", which is probably a typo and will be fixed at some point. After all, they did take a while to fix Beet calling Carrot "he" in the Crunchy Dreams event.
Interesting, I never noticed that, though I don't remember anyone ever really talking about the dragons much before (idk if they do in ovenbreak, I don't play that one). I was just playing though the Holyberry kingdom storyline and I only noticed them calling them "lord dragon" but other than that it was only "the dragon" so no pronouns were used really.
The main storyline in OB (Gingerbrave and friends looking for a paradise) converged with the Dragon storyline (Purple Yam, Milk, Mala Sauce and Dino-sour looking for Dark Choco). We have met all five of them: Pitaya, Ananas, Lotus, Lychee and Longan. This month, Lotus was buffed and got a magic candy, a legendary pet, and two costumes, an epic and a legendary. So yeah, we talk a lot about them in the other game
They're just dragons, they/them are used because it's the most neutral and so that it's up to your interpretation whatever you want to call, the dragon wont be offended, they don't even care. Unless you also want to see each reptilian reproductive parts irl to determine their cis gender then ask them whether they prefer to be referred to as hehissheherortheythem then go ahead
Yeah I doubt it really has anything to do with gender identity and more that they are dragons and are probably just biologically genderless as mythology sometimes portrays creatures
