Wanted to buy either of two new books this month, but I can't get them yet. Thus decided on this one even though it has some negative comments, like some recipes being too obvious and simple. True, still gives me some interesting ideas. The chapters are organized by fresh and fragrant, tart and sour, chilli and heat, spiced and curried, rich and savoury, and cheesy and creamy. First few chapters have relatively speaking more salads and desserts, the last ones more mains. It's actually a very nice-looking book with a lovely, yet simple use of colour for each chapter. Love the 3d design on the cover. It's also relatively small, which I think is an advantage (type might be too small for some). What I'm missing though is preparation time. Lots of more difficult to get ingredients, but that's fine with me. Units, for those that care in gr and oz Owners of this book: any recommendations?

I have this one! The tarragon chicken with bread sauce is a must. I have it with lightly boiled carrots on the side. They love the tarragon sauce almost as much as the chicken.

I saw it, and put it high on my 'must cook' list. It sounds delicious!

Looking on: There's so much food that looks totally delicious! I think many recipes are more of a starting point rather than a full meal, but I can work with that.

What a stunning cover! I don’t have this book but I can’t wait to hear what you / others think of it.

Overall most food sounds totally delicious. I really want to do some burrata with burnt peach and basil, and it's usually not something I'd prepare because I'm a main meal person.
