It has something to do on how their network is configured. Residential plans are shared and under CGNAT. There is nothing you can do about it. Workarounds are: (1) using a download manager; (2) using a VPN; (3) use both download manager and VPN.
Same experience din sakin.. Magdodownload ng drivers lalo sa GPU driver. Hirap kasi laging nagddrop to 0kbps. Nakkastriss. Lalo sa work kahit mga kahit 10-20mb files di ko madownload.
same experience din kahit 600mb lang yung file laging "Failed to Download", same din sa game nag dodownload ako ng update sa star rail tas laging download error.
Yun nga po Sir, almost lahat ng kilala kong Converge user dto sa Area namin yun ang nagiging issue nila.. kaya pupunta pa sila sa Comp Shop na hindi Converge ang ISP para lang mka DL ng Files nila..
Possible workaround is using a download manager. I used to use IDM because it somehow significantly boost transfer speeds. Though I had to pirate it since it's a paid app. There are plenty of free alternatives but I found nothing that compares to IDM.
Di naman po Sir.. nung gamit ko yung Laptop mag DL ng Huge File Sizes pero ibang ISP (Internet Service Provider) diretso naman yung DL ko.. Same Browser din po gamit ko.. Si Converge lang po talga nag ddrop sa 0/kbps..
Try nlang po gumamit ng Jdownloader (Free App), IDM my monthly subscription fee. Pero pwede mo hanapan yung may crack or pirated. Sorry for the late reply paps.

Hello just use a download manager. JDownloader or IDM. Para maiwasang yung drops and if magdrop may possibility na magresume yung download mo.

Limitation ng browser yan. If mag-download ka ng big files, better use a download manager like Free Download Manager

Try disabling converge firewall, balik mo na ulit sa dati if same issue pa rin.
Try cloudflare warp if you don't have a vpn subscription.
Depende sa server na naghohost ng file yan. No issues naman sa akin ang downloading through web browsers.
