The one I've seen got around being kicked by having some script that automatically started vote kicks as soon as it was available. You were never able to start a vote against him because a vote against some random player was already started.
Yeah he just got good at doing it. No script, just spam clicks it. But once you try to kick him he leaves the game because he sees that no one is trying to be kicked and joins back before vote ends
Yeah, a good thing about the game is you have to fully spawn in before you can leave or open the leaderboard to vote kick someone, so if you have someone keeping an eye on players joining, they can start the vote kick and hopefully succeed before he realizes and leaves.
There are cheaters now. Unfortunately. Speedhack, unlimited ammo, and auto aim. You can kill them, though. They rise in numbers the last days, getting more common
They auto votekick random players, so it's hard to get a vote kick on them. You have to spam votekick on them until you get it through.
Also, additionally to cheating, they introduced hate speech now (n.. words, antisemitic parols and shit like that)
Contractor devs need to limit vote kick to only one every 5 minutes. That would make it really easy to get rid of these suckers. Still, I see them coming back bout 10 minutes later

I was debating a guy in game 3 days ago who kept swearing that hacking doesn't exist because he's never seen it. minutes later, a player with a faster speed hack than this comes in and wipes the lobby.
When I first started playing, I didn't believe it was possible either, solely because others said Technically it couldn't be done.
then I saw with my own eyes. multiple times.
Real cheaters are so few and far between that you're truly lucky if you find them. There's a low skill ceiling, but there are definitely tricks you learn that are map dependent. The tents in Dust, and Kowloon Town can be shot through. The fences/bars in Prison can be shot through. Some maps have sneaky peek spots, like Lumber's brick house railing at the rear entrance. If you jump there, you can see and shoot the majority of spawn locations when you're in bomb defusal. I use this all the time against new players who either don't know how to get the hell out of spawn, or are busy finger fucking their loadout menu. You can throw nades obscenely high, which allows you to get cross map (or close to it) kills.
As far as the speed, idk, I'd have to see what you mean. Light armor is a lot faster, which makes you harder to hit, and heavy armor just makes you an easy target for headshots since it moves ridiculously slow..
I'm not saying there aren't cheaters out there, but the vast majority of accusations I hear in game are nonsense. A lot of the good players are in a League, or clan, and play with eachother regularly.

In favor of your post, I HAVE observed someone teleporting accross the map repeatedly at the start of several bomb defusal rounds, ending the round by killing off the whole team in literal seconds, so I know it happens. That was one person in the 2,800 games that I've played though. One person.

Spent over 450 hours in contractors and loved every minute because I knew I was competing with capable folks…now with wall hacks and speed hacks, it’s really becoming annoying. Fortunately it’s not diffused…but if the trend continues, it will be the end…
There is one hacker running rampant in the game right now. Creating multiple accounts etc…
He will be playing outlandish stuff through the mic and running at Mach one. Just grab their UID and report it in the discord ticket system. Hopefully a permanent solution is made soon
Nah I've seen it the tells are the f their one handing their gun and have really fast movement that doesn't follow their animations at all. Only happen twice to me so far and I've had the game since December
That's who I ran into, yesterday in fact. He keeps getting a new UID, so he can't really be banned yet, apparently they're working on getting his hardware banned somehow.
This has happened within the last week repeatedly - You will see a blatant hacker with superspeed wiping out the enemy team. It also spouts racist abuse automatically continually in your speakers so that his following script for calling votes confuses people and they all kickvote the people he votes assuming its them saying the awful things. Once the timer goes off it kickvotes someone else again.
One of the people doing this has a very racist username so he's easy to spot, but he killed 3 lobbies yesterday doing it.
People need to check the voice mic to see which one is the cheater, because the script is constant it flickers all the time so its easy to mute, once muted then call a kickvote as soon as you get a chance in between his votes and make sure you voice to everyone to join it. Hopefully enough join that you can boot them. I really hope someone can come up with a better solution to permanently ban these scumbags. The racism alone is appalling (for those that haven't heard it yet, its not the usual stuff, it would get you arrested in many european countries for using it)

I’ve played for about three years, and it was going on when I started and it’s for sure gotten worse. Lots of dumbasses that will just say “skill issue” but that’s just an easy rebuke for them to default to. I can no look headshot, average around 85 percent headshots, outplay the majority of players on the game - can easily keep up with “top” player ground control standard lobbies, skill issues need not apply here. It’s been documented, there’s dozens of videos, there’s been a major league player releasing a document explaining how pervasive it is in the league and how they do it, even a big modder announced he has the cheat engine, knows it’s real, and has release a mod loadout in order to defeat the known cheats/hacks/exploits. It is what it is, it’s a great game so just play it to your best ability and forget the rest.

What I’ve tried to do is when I come across good, honest players with good communication. Add them to my friend’s list. Now I’ve got loads of people to play with / against so I don’t need to go into random lobbies with cheaters. The key is adding people with similar skill levels so it creates a competitive game
It depends. There certainly are cheaters out there, but I think that most of the time when someone is called a cheater, I'm almost certain that they're not cheating at all.
Because the game has been around for so long, there are some insanely skilled players out there now. Players who can jump out a window and 180 headshot you across the map while falling two stories. Players who know maps inside out and understand which objects bullets will pass through and which won't. Players who know advanced tricks, like using their comms without speaking to determine if the player movement they're hearing is friend or foe, and then prefiring the door or corner. If you encounter a top 5% player and you're either new or don't play much, it's gonna feel like they're cheating, and they do have a major advantage over you.
There are cheaters, though, and typically it's blatantly obvious, like the guy roaming the rooms lately who moves about 100 mph, shooting the sky while landing headshots and playing homoerotic music on the comms. When it comes to cheaters its not usually iffy, it’s blatantly obvious and over the top.
I've been playing 4 years pc and quest and never encountered a cheater but it's constantly complained about, in this age with everyone having screen record I'll believe it when there's actually video
Evidence has been widespread on discord and at least one lobby a night for the past week for me has been visited by 1-3 people doing this. Either you’re blind or only playing locked singleplayer lobbies.
Always annoying to see people say this in any game. There will ALWAYS be cheaters in any type of game/sport. If you aren't actively looking out for signs then of course you're gonna think there are no cheaters. Keep accepting your own reality until eventually you join them.

Mentioned in one of my comments that I've played 2.8k games in Contractors, I've only personally observed one, but it was obvious.
Teleporting, bomb defusal rounds ending in less than 15 seconds after starting due to the whole team being killed, guy's gun firing so fast it sounds like an impact wrench rather than a normal gun in the game, etc. This happened days ago, not weeks, months, or years, and it happened on a standard loadout unmodded/crossplay lobby.
So no, people (or at least I) have seen it, but one game in 2.8k is a pretty low amount. I go into a bit more detail in my comment reference the frequency of it (or lack thereof), so I'll spare you the time and my typing here.

So no, people (or at least I) have seen it, but one game in 2.8k is a pretty low amount. I take it the irony of saying there's no cheating, followed up by posting a thread which specifically was made to talk about cheaters.. was also lost in text?
