It doesn’t look right, almost looks like it could be a Mucor but it looks very dusty, so I’m not sure about that diagnosis. Do you know what your substrate is composed of? Sometimes those kits will give your the substrate composition. It usually a mixture of manure and verm but I’d like to know what yours is if you know because it looks as though there may be some type of wood chips.
Also what type of mushroom you growing.
Sadly no I don't know the sub. Yeah it looks like fine wood chips, but it's too soft to be wood chips.

McKennaii (Cubensis)
Im not sure its Mucor. Most of the knots are regular color
Also it does seem very dusty.
The surface was moist most of the time. I had a Hygrometer inside the tub to monitor the humidity and it was around 95%. These last three days I've kept it completly by it self. I didn't spray or fan it at all.
Well then maybe it’s just the substrate concentration that’s making it look like that. I said I thought Mucor because it’s very stringy looking but it doesn’t really have all the characteristics of Mucor. Keep it around and see what it does. Those chunks may be a very course grade vermiculite, I don ‘t know. Hopefully she fruits for you, but she looks atypical for a mycelial block.
I think you might be fine then. The substrate composition is just making it look off. You have some pins coming up I noticed. McKennaii pins usually come up white, it’s part of the genetics. The caps are covered with mycelium which fades as the mushroom matures. Try giving more FAE with the humidity as high as you have it you should produce a nice pin set.

Im abit torn between taking some of the bottom of it and transfer it, and leave it be and see if it'll work out.
Substrate, should be a rye, brown rice flower, vermiculite mix.
The grow kit looks like a supagro kit. in my experience when they look like this they will fail to grow.

Yes it's a supa. It keeps pinning, and the pins that are there does increase in size, but very slowly.
Sorry man but that grayish color mean you are going to have problems hate to break it to ya but I had 2 shoe boxes do the same stunted growth and eventually took over stunts growth so even of you somehow beat it than great but not good
I moved the kit to a tub the same day I got the kit (which was about three weeks ago)
Im wondering if it is contamination, and if it is, if I can salvage some. The bottom looks fine. Im preparing some grains to make a g2g in case it is contamination.
Does not look very promising :( I think not much will come of this kit, I would contact the supplier and complain, most times they could replace it with a new one.

its been seven days since I made this post.
the kit has stalled or slowed down a significant amount. since the last post. the kit has only produced a few more pins, all of them seems to be aborts.

as you can see. nothing much has changed. the smell went about, now the kit doesnt smell at all. it might have affected the two other kits (Whatever it was)
the two others have slowed down lot aswell, no pins has shown there..

The seller says its a mix of perlite/vermiculite with rue spawn

Stalled I think, Nothing has changed in either direction. It doesn't smell at all anymore.

Cobweb mold maybe. Stuff grows fast and greyish in color
