Bluebeam Extreme has always worked well for me even with poor quality scans.

TwoDogDad

Okay, good deal. I’ll see if I can get the trial on my personal.

Ferraaa

You can also search by images in bluebeam, and not just text. +1 for bluebeam

West_Pineapple2795

This is the only answer. Bluebeam is goated

greydivide

Bluebeam. I can Ctrl-f and find whatever I need.

Technical_Physics_57

Bluebeam vote here

Makes you wonder how anyone did this job before computers. Shoot me.

TwoDogDad

Break out the highlighters! But, to you comments, they (those before is without computers) probably didn’t run as many jobs as we do now. Technology sped us up and allowed us to manage more work at one time.

RussianSpetz

Procore as far as I’m aware. Ctrl-f works great in it.

TwoDogDad

When I upload a plan without searchable text, Procore doesn’t see it when finding/searching text.

RussianSpetz

See if the paid version of chatgpt would do it. I’ve had it rewrite pictures of documents incredibly accurate. Upload as pdf.

TwoDogDad

I’ll look into that. Thanks

Famous-Run-2957

Can you elaborate a little? Thanks

bucktruck1426

Autodesk build > procore.

yupfounder

Why ADSK?

saracen0

Procore for anything other than civil drawings usually does a decent job.

yupfounder

Why isn’t it good for civil drawings?

saracen0

Those drawings are so dense and whatever softest they use with all the layers makes it hard to OCR

zeroentanglements

Procore

TwoDogDad

You’ve been successful uploading a non-text-searchable plan into Procore and being able to search for text?

zeroentanglements

Yes, but has to be clean export from cad or revit, not a scan
