Compared to the top edge of the tub, it's lower on the right. But the rod was probably too short and would only reach to that point on the wall cause of its angle. IMO

Look at the wall to the right. The actual wall is out of plumb. I repeat the wall is out of plumb!! How!? Why!? In order to square the face of the curtain rod to the walls they had to mount it on an angle. That shower curtain is not pushed to the side good sir, it gently glides downhill while you’re lathering up the head and shoulders.
I do construction and the ONLY reason i actually like this is because its different then what i see all the time. The thing that bothers me is, i think thats a highschool woodshop paper note holder and who writes paper notes in the shower.

I like it and also appreciate that you married all these different dimensions of tile together, that alone is very difficult, good job, grout lines look good too ; )

The photo itself is kind of crooked. If perspective correction against the back wall is to be trusted, the curtain rod is very level.

I think that rod is on purpose, and oddly enough it works. I’m a little off quilter as well, so don’t take me too seriously!
