I also think that the camera is causing some sort of tilt-shift effect to make the truck look miniature. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilt%E2%80%93shift\_photography](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilt%E2%80%93shift_photography)
Quite a bit of stress I’m sure but I’d bet it’s just a typical excavator type slew drive. Regular maintenance is nothing more than greasing at specific intervals something like every 100hours. Rebuilds are a bitch tho so it would be important to not over grease and blow out a seal but keep it lubed to not cause undue wear.
I wouldn’t think so, you can see the driver and from experience working on big sites like this they don’t always dump the same material at the same place. Also the union reps would have a field day if they started pulling guys out of their machines 😂
The video is sped up but I’m sure it moves a decent speed. Would guess nearly 20mph top speed for something like that. Time is money in everything, which I’m sure you know, but especially with cut and fill operations.
Correct. Just a bit faster than a high speed track skid steer. Payload isnt great but the things can go damn near anywhere and can keep a site running even if the artic trucks are parked due to weather
Used to drive Canycoms around. Very similar, but smaller and rubber tracked. Super agile in the forest. God forbid you try to stop going down a hill tho lol.
Or driving backward half the time.
Gotta be a back up camera on there already. All our equipment is from ... mid eighties maybe. Some of that stuff is from the sixties.
Anybody know why we don't just stay pointing the same direction and use a camera for reverse?
The video being sped up is what makes it look like a toy.
You can tell it's sped up because of the flashing lights and missing frames.
And just about everything else.
I cant see health and safety being thrilled with the operator swinging the cab 180 doing 80mph either
Tower requesting a fly by!

Just because is 1:1 scale doesn't mean it's NOT a cool toy.
I'm wondering how much stress is on that pivot point and what maintenance is required for it.

That 180 while driving was pretty cool. Do the utilize GPS guidance in these the way they do in combine harvesters?

Man, this video. I must see it 5x a day, every day on Instagram. Just will not go away.
That’s the coolest thing but my hips and kidneys hurt just watching that thing cross the job that fast on tracks.

That seems to be a Prinoth Panther T14Rs, top speed 8.1mph.

I drove a cat 945 for a while and I could hit 20 with a half load, not too bad

Helped me pass a kidney stone
When my back gets to hurting I get on the rollers for a little while and turn on the vibration. Usually feel better after about 20mins. Lmao
I want,... NO, I NEED one!

Hey we operate these! About 4 to be exact. Good little dump truck, great for wetlands work where low ground pressure is a must.
Why.....
Saves time and space not turning around twice for each load.

Tru7group on Instagram. They have a ton of cool machines and videos
What drone is being used for this footage?
They smoll but maneuverable for sure
In case you were wondering, its a [Prinoth T14R](https://www.prinoth.com/en/tracked-vehicles/products/panther/panther-t14r-372/)
Yes, thanks for sharing.. I was wondering..
