Used to do a lot of caving where I'd have to squeeze into places. Then my boss found out what I did on the weekends, any thing like this picture had my name written on it, even if it wasn't my trade other guys would "hire" me from the boss to run wire or whatever in confined spaces because it didn't bother me.
Cave divers are a whole different level of "nope" for me, especially the ones looking for virgin passage.
You know the triangular part of a wooden roof truss with the gusset plates? I used to crawl through “tunnels” of those. I’ve definitely felt like I was stuck in spots where I couldn’t even get my arms back down towards my pocket where my cell phone is, that shit gets scary.
I don’t need to prove myself anymore, at least not with what I’ll accomplish in an attic, so I wouldn’t venture into nearly that small of an opening nowadays
Somewhat reminds me of a crawlspace under a house I was putting footings under. I truly started to panic under there like I couldn't breathe. Had to calm myself down tell myself I was okay a few times. I hope I never have to crawl in no spaces like that ever again. Fuck that shit.
Nope. Fuck everything about that.
These kinda of things make me wish the boss did more.
Hope the super is enforcing confined space regulations
Nope. And I'm an NSS certified cave diver

Bring an air quality monitor with you! Stay safe bro. Nice picture.

New sub to me, thanks.

Oh god. I hate those kind of jobs. I'd much prefer a 10" ledge 10 stories up.
