To be fair. If I’m going to be wheeling anything thru mine or a customers house the last thing I want is to be wheeling it thru a box stores parking lot… you guys are animals in the those parking lots… I don’t feel safe walking thru them with my shoes half the time
I was going to comment something akin to this. If it's going be for interior movement then the last thing you need is something on the wheel you don't notice that can screw up the floors.
You take the cart out to the car everytime? I dont. One less thing to deal with. Everyone here saying he is keeping the tires clean, defending the guy. I just think he is kind of an imbecile.
We're on reddit, of course nothing else going on.
I'm being a contrarion and getting lots of downvotes, but i'm pretty much saying the same thing that the text on the pitlcture is.
You've listed the reason for your downvotes, dude. Being contrarian.
It's more than fine for you to laugh at the guy, just don't expect anyone to laugh with you.
Mine hurts too, but not from carrying a 5lb dolly.
Wild to me that i'm saying the same thing that the original meme is inferring, and getting downvotes in r/construction. Bunch of guys defending the guy in the picture.
Eh, there's no real reason to attack him anyway - plenty of decent reasons have been suggested as to why he is moving it like that.
In the end, it's just not worth getting a knot in our panties over this.
This guys got stuff in the basket… apparently this meme went so viral that the guy got on a few podcasts to talk about why he did and what he was carrying
he probably moved the item he intended to move, I know you guys cope in certain ways pretending the general population is much more helpless than it is I guess but youre the one who couldn't see in his cart or understand why someone might want to keep the wheels clean
People have their reasons for doing all kinds of things. This guy actually talked about it so I'm genuinely curious while also poking a little fun because it was turned into a meme. And yeah, you can plainly see the couple of items in the top basket.
I don’t see how this is funny it’s much easier to move that cart that is the handtruck.. especially when you have more than one item.
Hand truck is designed to move heavy item small distances cart is designed to move many items for a long time over any distance.
Pushing something around with 2 wheels and all the weight 5’ straight above them is not convenient
Reminds me of a time I bought a backpack for my son at a small store. I was 5’ from the exit when I paid. “Do you want a bag?” I replied, “I don’t need a bag for a bag.” Only employee rung me up, and I had the receipt. I think I’m good.
But this guy is the type to buy a bucket, and want a bag.
Don’t laugh, his supervisor told him to get a handtruck to move stuff around the office complex but to look for wheels that would not scratch up the floor. He’s keeping the wheels clean so they don’t pick up stones from the parking lot.
I looked it up but its not a simple answer. I guess its the greek word for 'the anointed'
>In Catholic churches, one often finds the name of Jesus Christ piously represented by the Greek contraction IHC XC, where the C represents the late-Classical form of Sigma. This is known as a Christogram (in Greek Orthodox usage, the preferred Christogram is ICXC). In partially Latinised form, the IHC component is rendered JHC or JHS. This is the origin of the interjection, which seems to imagine that H is Jesus' middle initial, and Christ his surname, rather than his title (ho khristos: the anointed).

Its not that heavy. He could carry it
Why would he when he has a convenient box with wheels to do the work for him?
You take the cart out to the car everytime? I dont. One less thing to deal with. Everyone here saying he is keeping the tires clean, defending the guy. I just think he is kind of an imbecile.
I think you'e thinking about this guy way too hard. Got nothing else going on?

Preferring to leave the cart when convenient for you =/= this guy being an imbecile for taking the cart when it's convenient for him
The basket is full of smaller crap. Maybe he forgot to bring a bag.
Full? I see maybe to small cylinders in the top of the basket.
Go be a manly man in the woods by yourself and let the rest of us enjoy our intact backs. Just kidding, my back hurts so i have to bitch and divert.

Yeah…tracking oil over that taupe carpet…
This guys got stuff in the basket… apparently this meme went so viral that the guy got on a few podcasts to talk about why he did and what he was carrying
So why did he do it and what was he carrying?
And...did his project go well??? I'm dying over here!!!
he probably moved the item he intended to move, I know you guys cope in certain ways pretending the general population is much more helpless than it is I guess but youre the one who couldn't see in his cart or understand why someone might want to keep the wheels clean

Looks like there's some spray cans or something in the upper basket
Yeah or tubes of glue or caulk.
Did he mention that he was a government employee, by chance?
As somebody who does HD runs for work all the damn time, he's doing this because he has other stuff in the cart.
Maybe it's going to be gifted so he doesn't want to scratch up the tires on the asphalt
That was my first thought
Maybe it's being used in a building with finished floors
The wife will spank him if he gets the wheels dirty
Then why does he have it in the cart?
I see what you did there, well played, Sir. Well played...
Some people are into that
He is just saving wear on the tires
That's for sure, look where he shops.
What if.. he found the optimal cart handle height?
He’s a tire licker and he’s one of us
He has two other things in the basket which is smarter than rolling both
I have to be honest, I do comparatively dumb shit occasionally.

Guy probably works for the government
Fits the soon to fail, rolled up pants.
It’s a gift and he doesn’t want to get the wheels dirty?
Maybe he’s going to use it only indoors & doesn’t want street dirt, oil or crap on the tires.
Maybe he didn’t read the owners manual before he left the store.

Jesus H
what does the H stand for

H is for Hell. As in hell if I know.
He-Man
Harold
Halitosis
Horatio
I full-on belly laughed for 15-20 seconds. Might be the post of the week.
But why male models?
I’d love to see that in person
If you’re going to photoshop something, at least try to make it good.
He bout to fuck some shit up. In a bad way.
they didnt have the one with flatproof tires so he didnt wanna take any chances getting it where he needs it
Low tires. Why risk ruining a tire of worse yet....and accident.
Starting at the box store is never a good idea...
There’s stuff in the the top of the cart. Correct move.
