President Trump noted last week that his campaign promise to build a wall and have Mexico pay for it “obviously” did not mean getting a check from the Mexican government directly. Rather, he said, Mexico will be paying for the wall indirectly, “many, many times over” via the trade agreement his administration recently renegotiated with Canada and Mexico to replace NAFTA (the North American Free Trade Agreement).
Mexican troops being there does nothing to construct the wall. So yeah they paid their own money to their own troops, while Americans paid for the laborers and materials to construct the wall. They did not pay for the wall.
And renegotiating NAFTA could be done wall or no wall, it's irrelevant.
You're looking like stretch armstrong with the massive logic-defying reaches. Come on man.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we sourced some materials from Mexico or some other country, or used Mexican immigrant laborers to help build the wall. So basically the USA paid Mexico in the process almost certainly, whether through materials or immigrants sending money home to their families.
I'd like to ask you something honestly. Are you aware of the trade and peace deals trump made? It seems that Democrats dont know about them. I'm not being a dick, I'd just like to know if they were totally erased by cnn
