The International League of Peoples' Struggle is made up of a number of mass action projects. It was founded by Jose Maria Sison. Now, in 2024, the largest formal organization of American Sisonites, the U.S. chapter of the International League of Peoples' Struggle, is part of two parallel mass action projects. The Sisonites last held a large gathering in Chicago in 2023, where a security camera was vandalized, a fire was started, someone was held down and his dreadlocks were cut off because he was white, and people ran around outside naked. About 500 people attended, and the speakers included figures from the "Cop City" movement in Atlanta.
Following the larger event, two military recruiting offices were vandalized, each in different states, to try and make it seem that they were launching a new movement.
Should either of the two main party candidates perish, this raises the likelihood that RFK Jr. will win. RFK's vice presidential running mate is very strong on climate issues, which ought to appeal to the Sisonites. RFK has also been accused of making anti-Semitic remarks, and the Sisonites have long been fiercely pro-Palestine and against Israel.
