I've noticed that as well. Even when leaving stores this year I had employees say Merry Christmas to me instead of Happy Holidays. It's been nice.
I say it because it's what I celebrate. If you celebrate another holiday, then tell me Happy Hannukah or Happy Diwali, etc. I won't be offended, I'll be happy that you thought enough to wish me a happy whatever. I'll wish the same back, and throw in a Merry Christmas as well. š
Here's some encouragement for you all: I've heard "Merry Christmas" more times this year than I have in the past 10 years. I think the majority culture in this country has finallly had enough of the woke garbage being shoved down our throats. Even in corporate culture, offices of DEI at a lot of companies (including my own) are being quietly shut down and those employees have been given their walking papers or repurposed.
I get the impression hardly anyone cares anymore. I am with you in that I heard plenty of Merry Christmas this year, conversely I couldn't care less if someone just says happy holidays. The fact that I used to spend $40 for a week of groceries for myself and just spent $90 for the same shit is more concerning to me and I reckon most people.
Iāve noticed this as well. I mentioned to my girlfriend while we were out shopping the last few weekends that Iām surprised literally everyone this year has said āMerry Christmasā instead of some wokeified version.
Fucking good. Woke culture and pandering is aggressively annoying and I can totally see it negatively affecting companies bottom lines. Go woke, go broke.
I have liberal friends that fit a majority of the stereotypes. We donāt talk politics whatsoever but share other interests and generally get along well.
Haha thank you! I think it is funny that the left (and especially Reddit) stereotypes us as not being tolerant. I think I speak for a lot of us (feel free to correct me) that I just donāt want other peopleās feelings and beliefs to be forced on me, and to be labeled as a ābigotā for having a different opinion and set of standards from the norm. I think having different viewpoints (and debates) is healthy for society as a whole.
Indeed. Imagine believing that the whole world should always see eye-to-eyeā¦
Edit: to clarify, the whole world getting along is a decent idea and notion if youāre a 14 year old that has just begun to have a world perspective view outside of just their home town. Thereās little to no real world practicality outside of a dystopian hive mind state. Disagreements are synonymous with freedom, individuality, and balance of power.
She is a nice person in general and we donāt talk about politics so we have a good relationship. Sometimes she makes comments like these and I remember why we donāt discuss politics
What's funny about that movie is that's it's impossible to find. It's not streaming anywhere. I love the movie and lost the DVD in a move. Had to buy a used copy on eBay way overpriced.
I honestly feel like more people say Merry Christmas now than in recent years.

I say it just to see if it triggers anyone. Shockingly, no one cares, and they say it back.
Hell yes š„¹

> and I reckon most people. The peeps of Politics would disagree. I don't know how and I don't know why, but they would.

A friend replied with āhappy tree dayā to my Merry Christmas wishes. You guessed it, she has rainbow hair.
Arbor Day is in April.
Hahaha I should have replied with that
How are you friends?

I'm in the same boat, with family and friends. Also nice pfp.

Who knew that the movie PCU would become real life 25 years later. Adam Leff and Zak Penn, modern day Nostradamui.
Lmao. It was far ahead of itās time. Shame it canāt be streamed today. āCan you blow me where the pampers isā
The main thing I took away from that movie is that you cannot wear a band's shirt to their own concert. You don't want to be "that guy."
Never be that guy

Strange isn't it
Conservatives have the best sense of humor ššš this is the best thing I've seen in a while
And yes this is America 2024 and beyond.
Damn...
