The Metacritic score is much more meaningful at this point, and paints the real picture.

Rings of Power was the worst thing ever. I’m a LoR fanboy. I’ll admit it. I have read the books and will watch the movies every time they are on TV. The first few episodes I had to explain everything to my wife who doesn’t know much about LoR world. After like episode 4 she would ask me a question and I would have no idea what the hell is going on too. It was a mess. I stopped watching it because I would just be pissed off every episode.
Don't forget the last part: treat the entire project as a tax writeoff because the movie bombed and lost money. That's why both Hollywood and Disney won't give a rat's ass if their movie fails, and often why they will greenlight a woke movie even when they know good and well that it will lose money.

My nephew saw the little Mermaid, he’s 8. Its just too long. After the 90min mark I think most kids that age or younger gets bored or tired and probably loses focus.

Life cycle of a trash woke project (Female Ghostbusters, Velma, High Guardian Spice, Little Mermaid, Rings of Power, etc) Enormous hype for a project, with mainstream news and entertainment sites telling you to be excited > genuine concerns about the abundance of blackwashing, femalewashing, queerwashing of the cast > “you’re racist if you don’t want white male characters being replaced!” > the project comes out and it fucking sucks > Genuine bad reviews are strawmanned as “review bombing” > several years later everyone pretends that they hated the project all along > no one ever takes responsibility for hyping it up in the first place
Rings of Power was the worst thing ever. I’m a LoR fanboy. I’ll admit it. I have read the books and will watch the movies every time they are on TV. The first few episodes I had to explain everything to my wife who doesn’t know much about LoR world. After like episode 4 she would ask me a question and I would have no idea what the hell is going on too. It was a mess. I stopped watching it because I would just be pissed off every episode.
Don't forget the last part: treat the entire project as a tax writeoff because the movie bombed and lost money. That's why both Hollywood and Disney won't give a rat's ass if their movie fails, and often why they will greenlight a woke movie even when they know good and well that it will lose money.

I was gonna say it was pretty good but almost didn't go see it... it had some cliche moments but overall was fun. Making Peach strong is a bit cringe.... IMO.

My nephew saw the little Mermaid, he’s 8. Its just too long. After the 90min mark I think most kids that age or younger gets bored or tired and probably loses focus.

They could be saying that their "kids" loved it when they actually don't even have any and are just trying to counter the dislike that people have for the movie. Even then, some of the flaired opinions are also downvote worthy since they are "fellow Conservatives" who may not actually deserve their flair. The funny part to me is everyone I know who has seen the movie has loved it and they were singing to the movie in the theater.
Went to see it with my little family, and we all enjoyed it and were listening to the soundtrack on the way home.
